any Pluto enjoyers? Binged watched it and I think it's definitely AOTY or at least up there with Oshi no Ko and Frieren
Calling it as "Anime of the year" is understatement for me. The whole binge watching experience feels like I am watching HBO's Chernobyl and True Detective miniseries instead of watching an anime series.
Truly an amazing adaptation.
@@tommykaung5882 It was geniuenly such an amazing decision to make each episode 1h long, it definitely added to the cinematic feeling of the show. When it comes to the writing, it's just so complex, yet easy to understand. Only Naoki can make me care so much for a character that is on the screen only for like a half of an episode. Naoki is just a master in his craft and I'm glad that Pluto got adapted. It gives me hope that some day we will get a Billy Bat/20th Century Boys adaptation.
