Hi there, I was trying to find a conversation we had on one of your videos but I couldn't find it. The building 'Terminus 100 Parking Garage' was the one that appears to have the Male voice that were in the old installation of elevators at the Marriott in Downtown Atlanta. I recall you asking for the address but I don't remember if I was able to find that the last time we spoke. There is a recent youtube video that shows those elevators with the before mentioned voice. Those are the same ones that you and Andrew filmed some time ago (~14 years).
I believe this is the location: maps.app.goo.gl/jZQHjggpMtuLuY4k9?g_st=ic In fact, you can even see a glimpse of the elevators from Google Street View. The garage itself is enormous.
@@musicfreakcc It looks like a very nice complex. I think I have yet to see a 14 floor garage my self. There's one in my city that must be about 12 or 13 stories but I have been unable to sneak into it since it's a private garage. The video that shows them with the male voice is called 'Grandpa Voice!? Strange Otis Gen 2 Parking Elevators' and the description says that it is an 'undisclosed location' in case you wanted to see the video your self. It's pretty obvious it's the same elevators you and Andrew filmed all that time ago 'Terminus 100 Parking Garage'. This guys video is only about a year old, so this male voice was recently added. I've always wondered if Otis offered this as an option to customers since it's very uncommon. I've only seen them at one other place by video in Tennessee. Would be nice to get some clear recordings of the voice if I ever get the chance to roam around Atlanta. Nice talking to you, hope all is well!
@musicfreakcc What cameras did you use in your entire elevator filming career? Unknown camera before the Casio Exilim EX-Z77 (Later widescreen), then the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1, then the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX30, and now the iPhone, I'm guessing. You might have used your camcorder/Handycam before your EX-Z77, I'm trying to guess.
I have my Sony Handycam HDR-CX405 HD camcorder (acquired June 2023). My backup camera is my new iPhone 14 Pro (acquired Christmas Day 2022). In June 2015, I stayed at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Atlanta GA up on the 46th floor (only 1 floor from the top level). I did an elevator tour of the big atrium hotel. There is also a fitness center elevator at the hotel which I have not seen. The next day, I rode the elevators at the Hyatt Regency and the Hilton. Fun fact: I lived North of Atlanta from 2012 to 2021, and now I live near Hartford CT.
that elevator is amazing.
Awesome elevators

I had a JVC Mini-DV camcorder and a Samsung point and shoot. I don’t remember the model numbers of either.

You might have used your JVC GR-D series. Either the GR-D33U, GR-D63, GR-D72U, GR-D73U, GR-D93U, GR-94U, i do not know.
How did you get past the turnstiles?
Are these new or Modded? They look super interesting
They are brand new.
How fast are these?
I don't know to be honest.
According to fandom these go 1200 fpm, which makes sense since these only serve 44-55.
How did he get past security and the turnstiles
RARE! They say "doors opening" unlike most PORTs in USA
Schinder PORT 🙂🙂
