- Video Recorded on June 26, 2023: After waiting for 7-8 years since this observatory opened, I FINALLY made it here!!!!!!! Anyways, I'm sure y'all know what happened 22 years ago today, known as Patriot Day. Therefore, I dedicate this video to the amazing people who lost their lives, as well as the original World Trade Center tower pairs that once stood before what America as gone though. Enough of that, but these elevators are AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVE the TV screens fully surrounding the elevator cabs showing a movie of how the centuries evolved while going up, and virtually showing the exterior of this building in different angles. Huge thanks to the staff for letting me take a round trip on these elevators while in this attraction for the VERY VERY VERY FIRST time. Installed in 2015.

About time! And these elevators have the CE electronics record for highest floor announcements. 102nd floor.
These are purely awesome. I wish any skyscraper in India would have a public observatory yet we have public viewing decks on ground and most buildings here being residential and offices

I finally got to visit this observatory back in June and took this exact same elevator (J3) going up but rode J1 back down. It was awesome but a little too fast for my ears lol. I'd love to visit cities such as Shanghai someday.

I rode these last November, and they are one of the fastest in the world. They are faster than the elevators in the Burj Khalifa, the world’s current tallest building.

Yeah, I'm sure they do. Top Of The Rock does that too I think.

Yes I did. You can just talk to one of the staff if they can get you an elevator to yourself.

I thought I heard that TKE was working on 3000 FPM. These are 2000 FPM!! not only they’re the FASTEST in the US but the TALLEST Building in the US!! If you go to Dubai, the Burj Khalifa beats this which I went on in March 2022 & they were so FAST

No I didn't. Justin (Jowevator 3219) came here right after I left town and had no idea about that at the time.

They have actually. It was completed in the 70's along with 1WTC before destroyed in 2001.

I think they were originally Otis touch from the 60’s and/or 70’s, And I think they were in the process of receiving a slap on mod right before this happened.
