Im very glad this was posted, I just picked up a phenmor riven for 40p and got a CC CD DMG -proj speed roll (I said god roll in 3 and that was it), so I wanted to try out critmor and wow, this with cyte just eats anything xd
@@7BLANK after some testing, Im hitting like 13m!! crits on headshots and around 7m blast procs I think? Ive been using it with arcane crep nyx w cyte subsume. very goofy
Thoughts on ditching status and full on pumping on crit chance and dmg? Planning to use Primary Acuity to pop some heads. I could potentially use it with the new serration mod that makes you do more dmg if ur invisible. With a Huras Kubrow, I might pop an ability that locks enemies in place, become invis, and nuke them?
You can ditch status in that case. The raw damage from Primary Acuity is good enough to shred through almost anything. The Huras Kubrow would be a nice addition. I would just consider using and external primer just in case, likely modded for corrosive or viral :)
For most levels of the game it probably isn't necessary and raw damage alone would be enough to practically one shot everything, having some form of dot damage is better when enemies don't get one shot, you could try and see at what point does that occur.
@ChozenBardoUmbra okay, but the only reason why you'd want slash DOT is to bypass armor. If the enemies are already armor stripped, it'd be better to use some other DOT like heat or electric even (or just upfront damage)
I would argue that Hunter Munitions is still nice to have for endurance, where I test the majority of my builds. The DoT damage can finish off chunkier enemies, and save the Incarnon battery for fodder units. However, your point is still valid. You can swap off Hunter Munitions for another mod if you would like :)
Hot take: I think Ready Retaliation is the best in slot for Evolution 3, because contrary to popular belief, it actually does affect the Incarnon mode. Hear me out, Incarnon mode’s transformation scales with reload speed, so this should be the go to evolution right? No, I often see Phenom builds just say “pick whatever, none of them affect the Incarnon mode.” Including this video, but let me convince you on why this is the best in slot. The Phenmor has a base 30 mag, with only 12 shots needed for full transformation. Thing is, we’re all human, sometimes we just miss weakpoints, or enemies just die too fast to charge the incarnon in a timely manner. Ready Retaliation fixes this by cutting the reload into 1.4s when mag dumping, which happens often when youre trying to charge the incarnon form. Not only that, Ready Retaliation is a DURATION buff, not a one time buff, so if you manage to fully charge the incarnon after an empty reload, the transformation will still be very fast! Oh, but what if you do fully charge without emptying the mag to trigger the buff? Just mag dump! I see a lot of phenmor builds that have fire rate on them, or use reinforced bond on a companion, so you can blow through the rest of the mag very quickly. You dont even need to fully reload the Phenmor! Once the reload starts, just activate the transformation and it’ll override the reload and still have the faster reload speed. This is even better if youre using Acuity so the lack of multishot makes charging noticably slower. You might think that mag dumping is too much of a hassle for a faster transformation, but would you rather be shooting at all or go through the Phenmor’s lengthy reload animation? Id rather keep shooting the base form so that my time isnt wasted that badly so I can activate Ready Retaliation and get the transformation quicker. This also opens the Arcane slot to be anything but P Merciless if you want that 30% reload speed. I personally use P Deadhead so that the headshot damage is additive with Lingering Judgement, AND the Arcane’s -50% recoil also lets me change Evolution 2 for Rapid Wraith, because that evolution is an objective dps increase in that slot for the incarnon mode instead of Void’s Guidance. Just try thinking about activating Ready Retaliation more often on the Phenmor, it’s really good. Although if theres nothing happening and youre fully charged, then yeah you can suffer through the 3 second reload no problem.
Honestly, I never thought of it like that. After reading this, I think I'm ready to make the switch. Thanks for the detailed explanation, you're extremely convincing :)
7:04 you can change your damage number color to red from option >> interface iirc
Honestly, thats fair. I didn’t even know you could do that :)

It’s actually kind of perfect for Cyte. I don’t like anti-crit weapons so now we get to rain red :)

Yea the blast procs are so juicy! I’ll give it go with that subsume :)

You could also use banshee for her weak spot ability for even more damage output :)
Oh that’s a great idea! I’ll try it out :)
For the Frost centric build, is Hunter Munitions necessary? His 4 strips armor anyway so you could mod for upfront damage instead of Slash DOT

@@rafeldabi you could use both, since hunter munitions doesn't pull from the status chance pool, therefore giving you double strong dot damage.
