If i remember correctly, it's not that non-ranged melee attacks disable stealth damage multiplier for 3 seconds, but rather coming into contact with an enemy. So if your melee has enough reach to hit an enemy without you physically colliding with them, your stealth multiplier will be preserved.
its a thing written on fandom. and coming into contact remove the bonus actually however, melee attack from 8m away also removed the bonus(test with inc bo) Slam range attack, thrown Glaives direct hit and Cobra & Crane Prime's in air attack removed too. (C&C might removes forever even on other enemies. bug?)

Great revisit of this mechanic Mathematically, this bonus is only a 6400% bonus when youre hitting a non-crit (yellow number is only an indicator of stealth hit, it doesnt force it into a crit hit) the stealth bonus is actually a +700% critical bonus that applies after mod, meaning it diminishes if there are present critical damage bonus But what makes xata good is that invisibility somehow makes xata hit forces stealth bonus (you wont get stealth bonus as often without xata active) And the stealth bonus that applied the second time on xata hit is effectively always an multiplicative 8x bonus because it has no other bonus to dilutes with This setup is especially good on ivara as the headshot multiplier from her prowl is also being double dipped on xata hit, this is easily one of the most easy to use but also mechanically more complex and interesting synergy
I'm really happy to see whenever people make zenistar viable again. I built my ivara just for zenistar usage, then got bored. A tip for all, blast status procs xata again! Mod zenistar for blast + electric influence and equip a faction mod (I know... I know... yuck! But important) Now you'll get a new xata hit that'll quadruple dip faction mods!
ah another addition to xata double dip list : Stealth multiplier On wiki :"Critical hits while under these effects (stealth) will still appear yellow" I've been Tricked, Backstabbed and quite possibly, Bamboozled this whole time also it's not just affecting "unalerted" isn't it? even on full red triangle/almost full red triangle (enemies map icon) it still works, as long these 0:57 condition satisfied. The enemies alert level start affecting stealth damage multiplier only when doing "Visible" stealth mechanics

So even on !!! crits it's still appeared as yellow Xata's double dip mechanics not really describe anywhere in game, kinda like CO. Something just double dips and some don't, but the Extra Damage Instance is absolutely work as in its description. Xata double dip is kinda on grey area of bug/feature it's not normal at all xD
Stealth damage bonus is not the same thing as stealth xp bonus Damage bonus does not require a specific enemy alert state, but it has a cooldown before you can trigger another attack that has bonus damage
Why would it be? Stuff like this has been used for years and years, absolutely nothing new about it. There are tons obscure little setups in the game that cause stupid interactions like this.
Gave this a try for myself with the corufell, works really well. The thing is, it has really low crit, so I had the idea of running melee duplicate, I did some testing but I couldn't come to a conclusion if: Melee dupe procs first, or after xatas buff. Either way, I see this as a pretty substantial damage boost for the lack of crit.
If the damage from all statuses are double dipped by the stealth multiplier, then you could make a heat blast hate build and get the xata to double dip with the stealth and the 120% status vulnerability from the new augment on a heat proc’d enemy getting damaged by the hate would work multiplicatively with the melee elementalist mod while also affecting the XATA instance and double dip again on the double dipped damage which dips AGAIN if you use a faction mod. Right?
if melee elementalist works like faction damage (not as faction damage), if its double dip Xata's. Then does Burning Hate also double dip Xata's? incarnon does have projectile no Stealth cooldown + influence + blast, omg something cooking
I have a question as you explained in the video the stealth damage bonous will be disable for 3s after the first bonous if attacking in close range rather than using melee projectiles like gun blade, however in the video you also showed lokie with bo prime. Did loki get any stealth bonous? Why didn't you use glaive or gun blade liek what you used for Ivara in the clip. Also thank you for shaing all intersting details

Great build works as advertised, only it should become survivability when it comes to an acolyte. Due to them seeing you through your Prowl. If they don't die from the first few ticks of the the Zenistar, there's a good chance you're getting downed. Love it though

Im running the exact same build now for testing reasons, but i dont get into the high millions of damage. I copied your loadout (no archon shards), yet on SP 200 enemies in the simulacrum, i cannot get anything higher than maybe a million or two in damage. x12 melee multiplier, max stacks Galvinizes Steel, Xata, Prowl. I mean, i one shot them, but still, its not the same. What am i missing out on? Im also running the Adarza Kavat + Cats Eye + Tenacious bond for extra crit chance and damage. Also, i have picked Naramon + Galvanized Reflex, instead of Reflex coil. Heavy attack efficiency cannot be over 90% anyways. Might add extra Initial combo, especially if "Melee Crescendo" isnt available to some players. And if, then for a long mission, one would need to do a lot of finishers to be permanently at x12. I still need to do some testing, if maybe "Killing Blow" outperforms "Primed Fever Strike". If, however, the idea is that the initial combo is at max with "Melee Crescendo", then one would never need Focus Energy and Reflex Coil/Galvanized Reflex in the first place. Could you provide me with any more info? Im interested! Thanks for the time.
Oh in addition: I replaced "Umbral Intensify" with "Precision Intensify" which grans 90% Power Strength on the 4th Ability (Xatas Whisper). Decreasing Prowl form 2.19 to 2.02 Headshot multiplier, and increasing Xatas Whisper from 77% to 89% As a plus: With the exilus slot you can "Power Drift" for some extra 15% strenght, or Primed Sure Footed. (2.08 multiplier and 93% whisper if run with Power Drift)
you cant get the bonus to enemies AI paused and coming into contact removes the bonus if you turned off Pause AI and attacked from enough distance away, I have no idea you can check stealth bonus with yellow void damage heavy attack use up initial combo count temporarily, so heavy attack efficiency increases speed of back to max combo vazarin makes easier using melee crescendo, i recommend
If you go into your appearance for your ivara. You can find the semi glow option under attachments>auxiliary. This makes it so you can still see your frame despite it being invisible to enemies
throw zenistar and after that use ivaras 2nd skill. She will turn to zenistar disk. Every second damage will go up and up. I`ve used 1 time and there was timer of duration of 2nd skill after it finished i used 2nd skill one more time and there was no duration at all. It had infinite duration until zenistars disk returned and al this time damage was like 21x, 30x and more. Make 12x combo and try this when your zenistars duration is 120 secs

Radiation damage was able to do stealth dmg. It was blinding them but DE patched it. You could do invs dmg without being invisible. They nerfed the only thing radiation damage was good for. With jat kittag i was doing millions.Thank you DE.....
Radiation turns off eximus abilities and functionally CCs overguard because eximus will turn and shoot at things that shoot at them. Which is what it was always good for.
And thats why Loki is OP but still unpopular due to not having AoE damage skills. Fun fact: roar double dips on melee influence as well. So its easier to achieve this same effect with all warframes. Roar is simply broken atm. Roar on grendel, saryn, xaku or any other weapon buffer frame is just op.
If, because of your video, "DE" suddenly decides to "fix" this, I, as ivara-main, who discovered this for himself without any videos, will remember you for a very long time, to put it mildly, not very well

thats just normal xata behavior, the only way to make xata crit beyond yellow is harrow's 4.
