I think all the streamers reacted in a pretty respectable way, what they did showed they respected his skill and they tried to find a way around it, playing smarter, trying to counter him, trying to adapt a good strategy, etc... I couldnt imagine trying to deal with this monster of a wrecking ball, id be frustrated in game, but at the end of the day, mad respect

One of the biggest issues I've noticed with OW players is how they treat ball. They say "Oh look, a tank is rolling at us. Lets send ONE person to stop him!". And then they're surprised when that fails.
Yeah I feel either a team focus is needed or you just ignore him and kill their back line faster. Like they’re complaining about ball but they’re just solo focusing him, meanwhile Zarya can just kill the whole team in half the time…

People complaining and disrespecting actual good ball players while whining bcs they're literally just being outplayed will never stop being funny to me. This char has a really high skill ceiling and people refuse to respect it even when they get rolled to the moon and back.
I would argue that in terms of tank heroes, he has the HIGHEST skill ceiling with maybe Doomfist coming in second due to DF rollouts. I really wish I could get decent at Ball but fuck, its so, tricky

@@twistedfox9445 Place your translocator close to your team, stay with your team don't try to flank a lot if the ball is really good they will capitalize in the fact that you're not there to stop him from running over your team, only hack ball if he's committing to something like (slamming, using his ult, or going in without a way to get out) call out the hack on ball so your team can kill him faster or just scare him out of the fight.

hey chazm, when is your ball guide overall coming out, I'm rusty as I haven't played for a while and don't know what's been removed mechanics wise and balls role has obviously changed with one tank.
Here is another tech that is so useful the floor piledrive: this is one of the easiest to do but also really useful, if u are near a ledge go to it then piledrive, piledrive goes to where you are aiming your crosshair, so u can go back to areas and piledrive without needing to use the grapple, not only ledges and edges but also stairs that have enough height to do a piledrive
This is the first time I see a competent Hammond player and this makes Hammond look like a beast. Really reminds me of the omnidroid from The Incredibles, normally Hammonds are just doing donuts around a point

@@Phasmania Mostly example. There isn't really a 'bad character' in games, there is really only bad players. A lot of people just think Ball is one of those no skill 'cancer' character that is sorta just a constant neusance to deal with more than being fun to play against, but when someone is actually good at them, is when people *really* hate playing against them. Which goes for every character usually.
Back in OW1 I wanted to play ball as a tank main when he’s released and I start seeing some people talking like he’s not that good as a tank then I dropped him until I saw this video. THX for making me playin him again 😂
Best thing about Wrecking ball is that he actually takes skill and timing to do well with, more so now in OW2. While everyone's favorite/Meta picks are easy AF characters that dominate with presence alone.
