I love horror but I have issues with jumpscares. The games looks really fun but I could never play it bc of the jumpscares. It's ok to watch lets play, though even then it can sometimes be too much. I just feel that if I sat down and played them, I would either get a massive anxiety attack or 💀 from a heart attack. I wish there was a version of pizza simulator without the jumscares and anxious parts like the sound testing thing. Only game I have played is fnaf world but I never finished it bc it's not really my type of game. When I watched the movie, I might have dropped the f-bomb during those bb jumpscares. I thought my heart would stop. The movie was great otherwise. I do wanna read the books. I have the first book but my adhd makes it difficult to read text only books sometimes. I want the graphic novels. My library had the "audio"books on their app but I can't stand that ai reading voice. Especially since it reads out the symbols too, all in a very monotone voice.

Some people believe in a theory called MoltenMCI, where part of the souls from the original animatronics are inserted into the Funtimes by William through remnant experiments. So, if the souls in the originals (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy) are in the Funtimes, and Crying Child was in Golden Freddy, Crying Child was in the Funtimes and therefore in Molten Freddy. So, if Crying Child was in Molten Freddy, and part of the group that kicked Liz out, even her own brother thinks she's annoying 👍

It sounds convincing. The only issue I have with the Mimic it was "Trapped there for a very, very long time..." and protected by a 80's computer. Sounds like he was trapped before Gregory and even Vanessa were born.

Of which Tales says it was trapped there during the pizzaplex’s construction, thus about 5 years before SB and Ruin, and 5 years would be a really long time. While the MXES hardware was probably made in the 80’s, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t reprogrammed. It could very well have been a completely different system, then got reprogrammed before Ruin to keep Mimic trapped. Ruin may even imply it was reprogrammed, since all the nodes are set up specifically for the ruined pizzaplex. And, even though old high tech stuff exists in FNaF, I doubt something this extremely high tech would exist that long ago.
Something that I feel the fandom seems to forget: The blueprints for the remnant scooper say "There is a _possibility_ that overheating _might_ neutralize the effects (of remnant) permanently". Nowhere does it say that overheating _will_ neutralize the effects of remnant. It only says there is a _possibility._
Yes, but it was also given in the game as the only option that can do so. In most stories, if this type of statement is used, it works. The only time that is not the case is when something else is discovered to do so. Now, assuming all the rules in the books carry over, we now have a method for possession to end. That said, it has not been verified in the games, and it is entirely voluntary.
I think it does Neutrelize Remnant...IF the being in question is entirley mechanichal. Its possible the reason William just dosnt seem to die is bevause hes posessing his own dead body. So maybe that neutrelizes the effect of fire

I think something just clicked for me. Agony and Remnant are connected, in part, to memories. The Mimic1 AI system is a digital memory bank, able to recall anything it has seen to be able to replicate it. It’s task in Help Wanted was to basically recreate the old pizzeria’s. in Storyteller, it was tasked with creating new stories. So it’s trying to create new memories using pieces of old ones. So, the Mimic1 program ends up able to basically mimic agony and remnant by giving life to memories. Glitch trap is memories of William Afton, Vanessa memories of Elizabeth, perhaps GGY was memories of CC (or Michael). And I word it intentionally. It isn’t their memories per se, but a recreation of them based on whatever memories are available.
I kinda wish at this point they just decided to clear up the plot and build up more lore from an actual set canon Cause right now, there is so much contradictory information

Unrelated, but I just consciously thought about how lefty is a salvaged animatronic. if lefty is a brand new thing made by Henry for the pizza sim, how is it found and salvaged? did henry just dump it in the back alley? did it escape from him? if you can buy lefty, Henry must of had it under control at for at least a little bit

My theory is that Burntrap is William, but Glitchtrap isn’t. Like Glitchtrap’s plan was to resuscitate Afton. I say resuscitate because it is hinted in Fazbear Frights that the vengeful spirit is keeping William alive and UCN is in his head. Vanny rebuilt Afton and used the remnant from Fnaf AR to resuscitate and “Heal” William. It would also be why Cassidy is in Princess quest, she is trying to keep Vanny from freeing William. In the burntrap ending, we don’t help Cassidy and Afton returns, but is almost immediately killed. In the PQ ending, We help Cassidy and William is remains trapped, at least for now.

To be honest I dont think he survived the Springlock failure. He did die but his spirit posessed the suit he was wearing and because thers an acual bodey inside, unlike the Golden Freddie, he can move. So he was dead the hole time, his spirit just posessed the thing he was wearing when he died

Unpopular opinion: I like the idea that William is still alive. I get it, it’s ridiculous, but it’s that charming sort of ridiculousness that makes you scream at the character with vitriolic hatred. Have him actually kill more people to keep him up as a threat and you can keep bringing him back like Ridley in Metroid
Theorys that try to connect burntrap to mimic just generaly rely on a lot of stitching to gether parts of unconfirmed book lore to try to fit it in to a the Theory. And sometimes when watching these videos im just thinking what if we are just overcomplicateing things. Maby the mimic isn't connected to glitchtrap at all and glitchtrap really is just Afton but digitally revived. If you think about it that way the security breach era of fnaf lore isn't as complicated as it is now. Of course there are still some other mysterious parts of the lore still yet to be solved that aren't going to magically disappear if the mimic has nothing to do with glitchtrap, but it will at least get rid of that one hang up. I think mimic is soposed to be mysterious and disconnected from the rest of the series because he will be explored in a future title were proper context and info is giving about the mimic.
I think the same, personally I think that glitch trap is him or his consciousness after he escaped his hell in the form of a digital program, and I think that he’s the one making the animatronics violent. I also think that he’s the one who was trying to trick Cassy/ in the form of helpy. Now, I think that he controlled vanny in order to grab his body, and remaining parts, and use Monty to destroy glamrock Bonny for more parts. Now the fnaf 4 claws, I don’t understand. And idk where he got the eyes, probably from some unknown animatronic. And the reason that William is still even able to move is because the vengeful spirit is either keeping some of his body alive, or glitchtrap is controlling his body, moving it. Or both. Anyways, based on all this, I think glitchtrap might have tried to control the mimic, but in spite of things his software affected the mimic’s software, causing it to turn evil. Which was probably part of his scheme. The blob tho, idk it’s probably a creature of pure agony left over from the fire, I would like it to be the souls of the children for lore purposes but I do really think that that ark is over.
@@Sci-fi-gu7 id like to add that if burntrap is Afton it healps make sense why the vengeful spirit is haunting the princess quest arcades to put an end to the Glitchtrap virus. It is a full character ark for the vengeful spirit. It first wants to keep Afton alive punish him for ever but that action allowed his remains to remain haunted and be years later discovered allowing him escape trough parts salvaged from his suit. The vengeful spirit then understood that keeping him alive for it its self to punish Afton was a foolish mistake that allowed him to escape and continue his evil work. So the vengeful spirit finally excepts that the best way to deal with him is to destroy him instead of imprisoning him in a nightmare. So she creates princess quest to destroy the Glitchtrap virus and purge his evil for good. In the end the vengeful spirit succeeds and eradicate the Glitchtrap virus from the pizzaplex putting an end to his rain of terror. This probably also ment that the vengeful spirits job is done and it probably moves on after that concluding the old era of fnafs characters.
Writing a canon compliant fanfiction has forced me to consolidate a lot of loose thoughts into my own timeline for the series, so I have my own theories about it. First, sometime likely very early after FNAF 6, the company was bought by a greedy/stupid buisnessman who wanted to flip it and make a fortune. Second, the well-known schems with the indie games began. Third, the Fazbear Funtime service began. Fazbear Entertainment started to make money and become a powerhouse of a company again. Fourth, construction on the Pizzaplex began. Fifth, the VR game was created and Glitchtrap was introduced (reintroduced in my version) into the world. Sixth, Glitchtrap used his holds within Vanessa and Tape Girl to solidify his holds. Though Tape Girl died in the process, with Vanessa's help he was able to get himself put into the Fazbear computer systems as we see in FNAF AR. He didn't just infect the animatronics, he also used his infection to reach out to the Fazbear CEO. He was able to scare the CEO into doing what he wanted, using threats and coercion to get what he wanted. It was because of this Vanessa was hired and the VANNI mask was created. Seventh, Glitchtrap allowed Vanessa to 'defeat' him as we see in the FNAF AR emails. This was a way of lulling Fazbear into a false sense of security as well as establishing Vanessa as a 'good' employee. Eighth, the Pizzaplex finished construction and the Glamrocks were created using a new model of the Mimic software that was more controllable and less likely to create another Glitchtrap. It was around this time a homeless boy, Gregory, took up a home inside the Pizzaplex. Ninth, a girl named Cassie had her birthday party there and Gregory struck up a friendship with her. Cassie's Dad took a liking to him, recognizing that he was a decent kid despite his situation. Tenth, Glitchtrap, needing someone who was better with computers to access the Pizzaplex's system, had Vanny hunt down Gregory and use the VANNI mask to infect his mind. This led to Dr. Rabbit. Gregory had also been chased into the room right outside the sewer system and locked inside while he was undergoing the process of being infected, covering the room with sticky notes filled with random data as Glitchtrap fought for control. However, another person ends up seeing and Vanny is forced to kill them. Eleventh, Cassie's Dad and Cassie realized Gregory had gone missing. They spread missing posters around, but he seemed to have vanished. Cassie was left crying while Cassie's Dad became determined to find him, even enlisting his favorite animatronic, Glamrock Bonnie, to help. Twelfth, Gregory, now controlled, used his skills to put Glitchtrap into the Pizzaplex's system and into all the Glamrock animatronics. Bonnie was scouting at the time and saw Gregory messing around. Unsure of what was happening, he intentionally disconnected himself from the system. It is around this time when the security footage of the 'intruder in a rabbit costume', the disappearance of the killed man, and the strange tides cause the Pizzaplex to temporarily close down. Thirteeth, Bonnie realized his friends were acting strange when they all started being ordered down by Vanny to excavate the sinkhole under the Raceway. However, he was quickly seen, and though he tried to play it off, he was cornered in Monty Golf and destroyed. Glitchtrap and Vanny, realizing he was compromised, decided to leave him destroyed rather than risk his resistance spreading into a new endo. Before he died, however, Bonnie was able to send out a message to Cassie's Dad, telling him about a wide conspiracy, not to trust any of the animatronics, and how Gregory was involved somehow. Fourteenth, Vanny and Glitchtrap finished excavating FNAF 6. They found the Agony-filled remains of Afton's corpse and the Agony-filled remains of the other animatronics. They put Burntrap into a charging case to see if they could sap anymore data from 'the source' so to say, and started working to increase the size of the Tangle by feeding it parts from the many AR animatronics, with the idea of using an AI to take control of it. Fifteenth, Cassie's Dad began his own investigation. He realized a large amount of power was being moved down to the sinkhole and started to investigate. While down there, he ended up meeting a still-alive Charlie, who was hiding out in the Mimic basement/cave system, avoiding Vanny and the Glamrocks. She made a deal with him, telling him that if he improved the M.X.E.S. system, she would tell him how to help Gregory. Sixteenth, Vanny and Glitchtrap start deciding to tie up some loose ends-that being, the employees of the pizzeria. They start small, replacing the night shift with STAFF bots, firing people on trumped-up charges, etc, but plan an All-Staff Meeting to deal with everyone at once. Seventeenth, Cassie's Dad improves the M.X.E.S. system by spreading nodes of it all around the Pizzaplex, creating a watchdog, and essentially beefing it up so that it isn't just a way to hide the Mimic, but is also an AI strong enough to go toe-to-toe with Glitchtrap. Eighteenth, Charlie tells Cassie's Dad that if he wants to help Gregory, he needs to play through the Balloon World arcade cabinets, including the one right there in the basement. Nineteenth, as the arcade is played, Gregory's conciousness meets a strange man in the arcade who helps him beat it, getting through the levels together. When it's done, Gregory is released and the other man-Mike Afton-ends up going inside of Glamrock Freddy. Glitchtrap realizes Gregory has escaped and decides that, for safety, he needs to create a fourth Princess Quest game and keep it hidden in the basement, as a way to ensure he keeps some hold in her mind. Twentieth, though Gregory is freed, he still has the occipital implant in his head that allows Glitchtrap to control what he sees and how he sees the world. Cassie's Dad quickly flees, and avoids the All Staff Meeting under Charlie's instructions. The All Staff Meeting occurs, and the entire Pizzaplex is replaced with STAFF bots. Twenty-first, the Pizzaplex reopens. Gregory struggles to escape, but Glitchtrap uses the occipital implant to stop him from escaping. Gregory thinks he escapes through the front door, the fire escape, the loading dock, and he thinks he was able to attack and defeat Vanny, only to realize he was essentially trapped in VR the entire time. Each time, he drew a comic so that he could remember what he had done and try something new, because Glitchtrap could mess with his head and his memories. Twenty-second, finally, Gregory attempts not to escape, but to go further down into the pit with Freddy/Mike. This leads to the implant being disconnected-we know from Ruin that it is out of Helpi's range-and while down there, he defeats Burntrap and upsets the Tangle. Twenty-third, Gregory, now disconnected, realizes that they can't leave yet. Before leaving, he and Freddy decide they need to help Vanessa too. They go there and Gregory plays through the final game, freeing her, and the three all escape together. Twenty-fourth, the now-upset Tangle rises and tunnels up into the Pizzaplex itself, causing an earthquake that destroyes the Pizzaplex. Additionally, Glitchtrap is hit by the Princess Quest game and M.X.E.S. rises up to take his place, assuming command over the Ruined animatronics and determining that no one will get to the basement. Then, Help Wanted 2 and Ruin happen.
I really love your imagination! Yeah, writing fanfic basically means adding your own lore to tie up those loose ends!😂 For me personally, Glamrock Bonnie was originally going to be used to help rebuild Burntrap, but Glitchtrap quickly found the Mimic trapped down there and chose them (it?) instead. So, they just left poor Bon to rot!😂😅
I've had a crack theory for a while that Will had some plan to survive the Pizza Place fire. He has a line in 6 were he says he knew it was a trap, after 3 he knew Michael was out to kill him, and he probably figured the children's souls weren't going to stop bothering him untill they were freed. So he set some plan (Eleanor/Glitchtrap) to resurrect himself after the fire so he could do his thing without everyone bothering him.
Here’s my personal timeline on what happened! This contains cannon information as well as my own interpretation. *This will not include mimic being glitchtrap, so don’t get all pissy and stuff* Basically after Cassidy’s torturous nightmare, (which lasted 2 years according to the Fazbear Fright stories) Afton escaped through the red lake, a sort of portal that takes you to the afterlife or wherever your soul desires, but in the process, Fazbear Entertainment went down to the pizzeria before Pizzaplex was built or was in the process. They got some chips and circuit boards that contained a piece of Afton’s soul while he was still asleep in Nightmare mode. They used those chips to speed up the process because we all know they’re on a time crunch and needed already fit stories to help make the game or whatever. The first game they made was AR, where Afton was scanned back into the game, haunting it, his soul trapped in AR. Vanessa played the game and messed with Springtrap and stuff, he noticed her. Then, this is where it gets foggy. I’m not sure how he was scanned into Fazbear Virtual Experience as well. So then they make that game too, use some of the same circuit boards that had Afton’s soul, causing him to be trapped inside the VR game. Vanessa met him once again, but in a different form. He then tricked her and posessed her mind, causing her to be trapped with the headset (or mask) on for weeks, draining her mental health, and being stuck in Dreadbear’s basement. (YES I do believe the mimic plays a part in this, being used by Glitchtrap and Vanny to sort of have a way to appear physically, I think he’s being hijacked) There’s some evidence that Patient 46 has sensory issues (I would know) like sensitive to light and to smell. Jeremy also was described to be just practically numb and “too far gone”. In the process, Vanessa had been split in two different personalities, one being Vanny, who acts as a different person basically entirely, the more insane, bubbly and childlike side of her, and Vanessa, the one who was desperate to escape this torture. She feared every night to sleep, knowing that she’d have intense lucid dreams of that deranged man. Also another detail is that Jeremy and Vanessa specifically call Glitchtrap “He” instead of it. I think their nightmares showed his true personality and true face, idk just my thought. Vanny and Vanessa can glitch between personalities, whenever she needs to kill or has an order, she glitches within seconds to her insane, delusional side. Then Vanessa put Afton into a hard drive and coded him into Princess Quest (explains why he says let me out and stuff, and the deleted HelpWanted2 has springtrap saying “this wasn’t supposed to happen..”) And then you know what happens after that Gregory comes along blah blah lol. In the burn trap ending, why we hear distorted laughter and similarities between Glitchtrap, is because (like I said my opinion), Burntrap is just a shell. His old decayed suit is just a backup in case something goes wrong, or Vanessa doesn’t do what he says. Burn trap is just Glitchtrap, posessing his old body. If you stay near the monitors or the bed, and turn up your volume you can hear Afton’s laughs and stuff, it sounds really creepy, and he sounds very human and younger which is very interesting and more people should talk about it. Then the tangle we see is either Cassidy’s agony or Cassidy, taking him away and getting her revenge one last time. *FINISHED* This was so long but worth it to type. So as someone who belives in the Frights and Tales books being in-continuity with the Games, I wanted to write this comment to clear up some of the questions and points of confusion you listed off in the video, in hopes of spreading awareness of the answers. 1. "William not being in the springlock suit in 1280 is weird." This is an easy one to clear up, because we don't actually even need the books to answer this, all you need to do is just take a closer look at Scraptrap. Alot of people seemingly haven't noticed this detail, but Scraptrap very notably does not have an endoskeleton, hes just Williams body in an empty suit with the only mechanical parts left being the ears and a few stray wires stuck in him. This is why William isn't in the springbonnie suit in 1280, the doctors just removed the empty shell he was wearing. 2. "What were the circut boards scanned in Help Wanted?". I think there is enough evidence to confidently say that the circut boards that got scanned came from the Mimic, or atleast A Mimic. When HW was first being teased, among the various gameplay screenshots there was another peculiar image that was encrypted into ScottGames. An image of an irl decapitated endoskeleton head, this image was called "OrGN" aka "Origin". This head is the origin of the circut boards that got scanned, which is notable because in Tales epilogues it is specifically noted that the Mimics body and its head do not match eachother, meaning at some point the mimic was decapitated and had either his head or his body replaced. A lot of people ignore the OrGN teaser because its a real life photo, which lead people to assume it was a teaser for the Movie at the time. But Scott specifically removed all the real life image teasers from Help Wanted specifically BECAUSE we attempted to tie them back to real life, the images were intended to be examined in the context of being relevant to the games. 3. "Why did Vanny go underneath the Pizzaplex?" Because the Mimic was trapped down there. At the end of Tales, the Mimic is left locked in the saferoom of Freddys, springlocked and deactivated & the front door of the pizzaplex is covered with concrete. In the Burntrap ending freddy speaks about this, telling Gregory that vanny used him to "clear the path" and low and behold, the concrete wall that was blocking anybody from getting into freddys has been torn down, allowing Vanny to reach the Mimic endoskeleton. The Mimic was not trapped in the costume closet we find him in when Vanny went down to the pizzeria. That specifically happens AFTER security breach, when Gregory and Vanessa return to trap it so it can't endanger any more people. 4. "So what is Burntrap anyways?" To put it short, Burntrap is the Mimic endoskeleton after vanessa reunited it with Glitchtrap gave it a springtrap cosplay. T_Scratch_Sinkhole2 confirms beyond resonable doubt that Burntraps endoskeleton is a previous form of the Mimic, as burntraps handprints (which were specifically added in ruin) can be found inside the vent leading to the room Mimic is trapped in. As for the origin of the costume and corpse, I would like to remind everybody that Fnaf AR is a thing and already explained this before SB even released. In AR, Vansssa is the one building all of the Springtraps in that game, complete with fake rubber william corpses to complete the look. In one of the games Email, Vanessa is even called out for buying the freaky rubber masks shes using to make the william corpses. This was Burntrap foreshadowing, this is what Burntrap is, hes a phony replica made by Vanessa just like the AR springtraps were. Its the Mimic dressed up in a big, gross elaborate Cosplay to complete his Afton obsession. 5. "What is Tangle?" The tales books explain him aswell, though its alot less exciting than most people theorized. Tangle is the pile of dismantled animatronics and corpses the mimic was instructed to stack up when it was first delivered to the Pizzaplex. Throughout the epilogues this pile is repeatedly focused on, and every time someone mentions it it is always described as a "Tangle" & in one of the later epilogues one of the teens even describes that it has a sinister aura and "pulses". This is Tangles origin story, its the giant mass of restless spirits the mimic inadvertently created by throwing all his victims corpses into the pile of robots.
I have this theory about fnaf that's been prompted after the dual process Cassidy is crying child theory. So I just wanted to get thoughts on it. Basically I think Cassidy is the one William should not have killed because she is Bonnie Bros younger sister and got springlocked. I also think Bonnie bro is Cassie's dad. This means two things 1. Cassie is named after Cassidy, her father's sister who got killed (it may also have given him incentive to be a technician? Fixing spring locks maybe?) 2. Assuming Cassie's dad is the protagonist of Help Wanted 2, this is what makes him 'so special' (could also link to the princess quest ending) In the books Cassidy is a girl with black hair. In the security log book the puppet gives cake to a girl with black hair. The minigame where the golden Freddy is given a cake and is released also looks similar. Bonnie bro has black hair as well. I think narratively it also makes the most sense to be following this family now at this point in the franchise. Anyways, great videos :)
This makes me think back to what was said in/about Help Wanted: the previous games were made by someone with only half the story (that they were given by Fazbear corp so who knows how much was correct) so anything that doesn’t make sense between UCN and Help Wanted & beyond can be explained by that. Help wanted is a soft-reboot and that’s why a lot of people are viewing FNAF 1-UCN as 1 story and then FNAF 1-SB/SBR as another. Because as more games come out, SteelWool & Scott can essentially re-write a lot of the previous lore as they go.

I think when William says, “I Always Come Back”. Personally, I think that it could be figurative? Given Afton is human, his body can only handle but so much. So maybe William knew that he doesn’t always come back, but his evil always comes back. Anyone have any ideas?

I’m still not really convinced that Glitchtrap isn’t William and is the Mimic 1 program. After all,Fazbear would have excavated the Pizza Sim area in order to build the Pizzaplex to begin with, who’s to say that they didn’t take that old tech they scanned into Help Wanted during that? It would have taken sometime them to build a mall that big anyway so that can account for any issues of timing. But other than that (and the whole Vanessa and Gregory trapping the mimic before SB and not after like how I believe it to be) I think you nailed it on the head with this video.
I think the reason “scraptrap” looks so different is because after the fire he went to sister location or somewhere with wire based endo’s. That could maybe describe how he shrunk and the wire looking bits sticking out of his side.
I do think that the idea of the mimic removing William aftons body from the blob & having the blob capture burntrap in the burntrap ending of security breach fits with Orville's voice line from ultimate custom night almost perfectly
12:05 I think the thing to note here is that the books are not a 1 to 1 of the games and so do not tell you exactly what happens in the game-line. They are a sort of side by side where the themes, philosophy and overall ideas are the same but the exact details and even some more major details are not as major to the game timeline as they may seem. I see them more as a way to help the community be guided without straight up saying "this is what happened" because fnaf has never done that and it would be pretty disappointing if they started doing it now. I do also think that the "originally intended story" ends at fnaf6. I think that Scott wanted that story to end there and I think it does originally. He also originally wanted to end at like fnaf 3 or 4 but here we are. I think the main thing to take away is that Scott wanted to make a more skill based game as most of his games haven't been all that difficult in the grand scheme of things, especially including fnaf fangame max modes. However as Scott is he also wanted to try and tie in a lore reason for the game to exist and so the UCN being William Afton's torment and hell forever is very fitting. The games obviously go on after but I feel that is like the story being extended rather than a continuation that was expected from fnaf 6. I am all for it though, fnaf is amazing in both lore and gameplay.
Theres also the Fetch epilogues where Grim watches a figure pull out parts of a green metal rabbit suit which explain where the burntrap exoskeloton comes from and with that william aftons agony/remnant
I just watched a fnaf theory vid that theorizes that BurnTrap is actually the Mimic (+Mimic Program) and there’s actually a lot of environmental storytelling within RUIN specifically around Burntrap’s room and nearby the Mimic’s areas that seemingly collaborate on this idea. I have no idea why then Burntrap has a whole ass body in there but there is a book story about an endoskeleton shoving itself into a person so maybe it was trying to explain how the mimic got a meatsuit in SB?
Two things I want to say. 1.) The books should be taken with a grain of salt, there MAY be a few vital things in the books, but like the silver eyes series, they're their own stories. 2.) FNAF Help Wanted 2 does seem to confirm that there's more V.A.N.N.I. masks than just Vanny's and that other employees have worn them. So it's VERY likely that Glitchtrap has more followers than just Vanny, which would explain the @#$% out of the machine that was holding that mimic-like robot in RUIN.
1) Agreed. The books can be useful for inspiration, but solving the game mysteries should be possible using game clues alone. If a game theory is supported by game hints but contradicted by book lore, that doesn't mean the theory is invalid. I am so so tired of people claiming GGY proves Gregory is Patient 46. Patient 46 is so incredibly obviously Vanny. GGY just shows how the book authors are as "out of the loop" as the fans. 2) The mask in HW2 is presumably the same one Vanny dropped in the PQ ending of Security Breach. The technician headsets probably resemble the monocle thing that Helpy wears in Ruin. Vanny must have incorporated one of these headsets into her mask. At least, this is my interpretation of what the mask is.
You say there's no leads on if Henry put the mimic together, but I say we do. We know we have Edwin, who made a robot to mimic things, that he ended up taking his frustrations out on. The mimic ends up repeating this sort of behavior. In the Silver Eyes trilogy, we have something similar, but with Henry. Henry is building the Charlie bot, meant to mimic the original Charlie in a way. The last version of it, he ends up taking out his frustrations on it. This version becomes Baby and, in a way, ends up repeating the behavior of taking out frustrations on others. So now, we have these clues that tell us Henry might have done this in the games as well. He made the mimic for whatever reason, and then took his frustrations out on the mimic. It ends up repeating this behavior. No idea why he made the mimic in the games, but the reason he made it is its own theory. I may be over simplifying things a bit, but the general theme is there. Guy builds robot. Guy beats robot. Robot is dangerous now.
Hey Rye Quick thing I wanted to point out. I KNOW I've seen the theory that patient 46 is a possessed Gregory floated. Here you're separating glitchtrap and the mimic with GGY and Vanny being followers of Glitchtrap. One thing I've noticed though is that there is a similarity between patient 46 and the mimic that gets singled out - they both love wearing costumes. The therapist makes a point of saying that 46 loves costumes and it's been a repeated point that the mimic loves to wear costumes. I haven't had time to think this through further and what it could mean, but I wanted to call it to attention.
1:53 I believe it was both. Henry and His volunteer knew what this place was really about, but still made it function like a normal establishment, and I know that sounds like it's still a facade but it changes when you consider a few things from the the game's Lawsuit papers as well as what we would see in Help Wanted 2's Helpy First Aid game. The Lawsuit papers, when taken a closer look, explain a few interesting bits of information, mainly that: 1. The Pizzeria has/is remaining open longer than just a week. This is because one of the lawsuits involves a kid who got food poisoning and stayed at the hospital for more than a year. His parents sued the Pizzeria *After* this period which would mean it was still active at this time. Sure, the situation sounds like a troll, but there's a few others that share in common a similar time lapse. 2. That there was a sinkhole *under* the Fnaf6 pizzeria, which is mentioned in another lawsuit involving a kid who fell on the sinkhole and had to be given pizza from down there. It may mean that the underground location Cassie got to in Ruin has existed prior to Steel wool's work. Helpy's First Aid game also shows band-aids with designs from the rockstars, which would mean Henry or his volunteer might have signed papers to treat them as official characters of the franchise, which I feel they shouldn't be doing if this is just a decoy. It functions too much like an official establishment, it got merch and products made based on its characters for *other* places, like The Pizzaplex's Chip Restaurant, and based on the lawsuits, it could be that it went that way until the specific *week* where everything went down the way it was meant to. Basically, that it was purposed to be a decoy, it evolved into being a real place, and it went down once the main goal was met. Then again, I could be wrong, but I find this interesting.
It is possible that the glitch trap code originates from the chip removed from Baby. The mimic program being a failed project from fall fest 1979 was restarted by William when he started building the funtimes in order to harvest remnant. We see that while Michael is in sister location that workers can still access the underground area, Fazbear could have retrieved the chip that was her "brain" scanning the code into the help wanted server.
What do u actually salvage from the animatronics in fnaf 6? It’s clear that we sell whatever it is we salvage since we get money from it and we don’t use the parts since the animatronics for the simulator are bought. Do you think the buyer is Fazbear and they use the parts for help wanted and the pizza plex. It could explain where the circuit boards with glitch trap came from.
One thing that I don’t think is brought up a lot is the canonicity of the FNAF AR when trying to find more lore on springtrap. I mean he is a animatronic in the game and a lot of his voice lines from characters in UCN. If we want to consider that game as canon it could explain burntrap’s appearance in Security Breach with him being a more refined version of springtrap animatronic with parts of the glamrock animatronics thrown in to improve it. I know the idea is a bit of a stretch, but I think it’s weird how quickly we will accept a book as possibly canon before looking deeper into a mobile app game.
Remember,kids,if you ever think “Henry wouldn’t do that”, he would. I mean,I’m half convinced Henry was trying to kill our main character. He had cameras but didn’t give them to us to use. You can’t use one than one defence system at a time,the motion sensor is inefficient as hell and without cameras it’s hard to tell if the audio lure is working because it’s not exactly intuitive. I’m aware those are game design problems but in universe Henry made this death trap so I’m holding him accountable. Edit: My theory is the intended person for the fnaf 6 job was the bite of ‘87 victim but -due to their lack of a frontal lobe (which controls emotions and personality)- they just didn’t show up. Also,I highly doubt Glitchy is Mimic. Two main reasons: One,when Glitchtrap attaches itself to Tape Girl’s tapes,it’s said specifically that they cannot be deleted. Mimic is just programs so it could be deleted,implying Glitchy is supernatural. The other major thing is that Tape Girl specifically says “it was looking but not like Chica or Bonnie would,it was really looking”. The whole point of the mimic is that it’s just programs set to a task,it’s no more sentient than Bonnie or Chica so if Glitchtrap is “really looking” then it has to be supernatural. Right now,my candidates are William or Crying Child (the Glitchtrap model has tears on,the big Easter egg of Dreadbear is “It’s me” in the barn WHERE VANNY GETS THE MASK THAT LETS HER TALK TO GLITCHTRAP and the references of Fredbear and ‘83 in the Dreadbear DLC (Dreadbear is literally a version of Fredbear and it's not a stretch to say CC dreaded going to Fredbear's). Also,when Glitchtrap possesses something,it’s eyes go purple. When Mimic1 takes over Helpi,his eyes go yellow.

A Thing that makes me chuckle: The Pizzaplex is built directly atop the remains of the FNAF 6 location. I also learned around the same time as that specific reveal of the FNAF plot progression that a rich dude a couple decades ago bought some land and some dynamite and called himself an archeologist, and then blasted a hill to Find the city of Troy. And HE DID find evidence of human settlement and called in some actual archeologists who... y'know, *don't* use dynamite, and found that he HAD found Troy.... he'd just blasted right through that layer and *six more* built atop the buried remains of the previous settlements, and MORE layers underneath the layer that they were able to identify As Troy via artifacts and recovered writings. Back in the days of antiquity, the earth buried the remains of our cities when they became unlivable, and then someone else came by saw an Excellent Hill and built a new city on top of it, more than a DOZEN times And then several cubic meters of that layering gets pulverized into dust forever because of a rich yahoo with dynamite who, once professionals moved into the dig site, frequently complicated operations by planting Greek artifacts in among the ones native to the site. Just... intetesting.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Agony is disposed of in one of four ways. 1- Greater heat that not even ashes remain. (or acid.) 2- Liquid nitrogen levels of cold. 3- Forgiveness. 4- Religious rites such as an exorcism and a funeral.
What if the Blob (the Tangle) is UCN itself? Meaning, in the Burn Trap ending, what if it is just re-absorbing Afton into itself to throw him back into UCN again? What if the Blob followed Old Man Conciquences advice and so it rested? Tangled up with Burntrap inside of it, until Vanny arrives to pulls Burntrap out of there with some "trick" or method to not wake the Tangle? (Also note it's name is "the tangle" which suggests there is an object besides itself involved)
How did they know in Fnaf 2, that the lullaby/music box would work on the puppet. I just noticed in this video, lefty uses the same lullaby or something similar to lure and contain the puppet. Is it possible Henry helped on Fnaf 2's location or did he learn about it from that location? Just a thought.
I believe that all the FNaF books are not directly part of the story of the games. Rather, the books exist INSIDE the universe (Basically, that the books are products created and probably sold within the FNaF universe). That is, just like Bill Cipher's book from Gravity Falls, the books that we know exist within the FNaF universe. They are basically stories created by Fazbear Entertainment with the same purpose as the Help Wanted game or the indie developer's games: that the public does not believe the legends about Freddy's. And not just the books, as in Security Breach there are images of the Ignited animatronics in the arcade machines, so the Fanverse Initiative fangames probably exist inside the canon as well. And spin-off themed games like Into The Pit are probably in-universe as well, especially considering that the game's menu is played over what appears to be an old television. And the same would happen with the Survival Book, since that book was written directly by Mike, so it would also be in the canon. The only books that I don't know if they would fit with this formula would be the guides, since these are made to inform us, the players. And I don't know if the movie would also be a product in the FNaF universe, but at the moment I doubt it. Everything seems to indicate that the movies are simply a different universe. However, this does not mean that all of the stories are false. It is possible that a large number of these stories are very similar or copied from real events. This way, people can theorize freely without taking into account stories like In The Flesh. This is much better than saying "not all Frights are canon, only the epilogues and their related stories are", because that excuse is terrible.
I do believe that Burntrap is NOT William Afton's corpse, I also don't think it matters that much. It could be AR Springtrap, which just spawned in the Funtime Service. This could have been the first step into trying to recreate William Afton (I believe Glitchtrap's goal is to recreate the Afton Family, with Vanessa as Elizabeth, Gregory as CC, possibly Cassie's dad as Michael, and the Mimic endo for how Glitchtrap itself will come into the real world.
It's also worth noting that Afton as both arms in The Man in Room 1280, something he does not have in FNaF6, another piece of support for burntrap to not be Willy unless we have something that can fully regrow organic material.
Maybe cold defeats agony? There is no real evidence for this. But fire is rather aggressive like agony and remnant is positive so that cancels it out so cold would be the opposite. It could explain the claw in the basement its an agony extractor. The tanks have nitrogen ice,(i forgot what its called) but its cold.
13:35 That dose not mean that fazzbear entertainment didn't already explore the old fnaf 6 pizzeria just because Vanny had to dig her way down there. How i see it is that fazz bear for some reason intentionally chose to build over the fnaf 6 location and they probably before sealing it went down there to find some historical old fazz bear merch and other items to display later. And just like in fnaf 3 they found the remains of springtrap and mistake it for a verry dameged anementronic. So instead of trying to fully recover it they just took out the most important parts and left. And thats how glitchtrap the digital version of Afton hitched a ride out of ultimate custom night. It would also make the existence of princess quest make more sense now because the vengeful spirit unintentionally had let springtrap be reviewed by keeping him alive in ultimate custom night for all these years. So instead of trying to do that again the vengeful spirit learns from its mistakes and just chooses to finally finish him through princess quest. Personally i find that much more of a interesting character arc than any of those kind of convoluted and overcomplicated mimic centric theories were she for some reason just pops in and creates princess quest for no real reason.
So I never really play the games, but I am absolutely obsessed with the lore, you are my favorite FNAF lore youtuber because for some reason, just by watching your videos, I know more than my friends who have been playing this series since launch of 1.
The thing that's neat about the mimic as an enemy is that code is relatively easy to replicate. So, like, with William, we have to keep asking "how the frick is he still alive?!?" But there will be easier explanations about the mimic surviving if it's around for 19 more games
Love this theory! I think that there's some really compelling evidence in here that I've not heard anyone mention yet, like how vanny existed before they went down to the fnaf6 location.
I have a theory for where the whole Glitchtrap program came from. You made it clear that it cannot have come from Springtrap and I don't think it has. I think it came from the ORIGINAL ANIMATRONICS. Fazbear Entertainment stated that they used real programming from other animatronics to put into Help Wanted via the Mimic1 Program. But that doesn't explain why this program seems dead-set on recreating Afton UNLESS the animatronic programming that was used came from the original animatronics that the bodies of the MCI were stuffed into. These animatronics would have seen the man in a rabbit costume stuffing the kids into the animatronic suits and the agony left behind on those suits would remember the origin of said agony, AKA the Man Behind the Slaughter. I'm not saying that the ghosts of the victims are manifesting themselves in the game. I'm saying that the MEMORY left behind from the agony infected circuit boards is what exposed the program to Afton's deeds, hence why it takes the form of a man in a rabbit costume, mimicks his actions and mannerisms and even puts you in a Freddy suit in the Pizza Party ending. That's where I think Glitchtrap comes from - the agony left behind on the circuit boards that were originally part of the animatronics that the MCI were stuffed into. And smaller theory: I believe that The Blob or The Tangle or whatever is actually Golden Freddy. It's obvious from both the final ending of UCN and the Fazbear Fright books that the Vengeful Spirit is still around and kicking, but that it doesn't have a physical form to make its own, hence why it's a ghostly aparition for most of the original games. But I don't think it's too far fetched to say that the Blob is Golden Freddy giving itself a physical form by amassing as much agony infected parts as it can, still remaining in that basement with the corpse of Afton. It acts more like a guardian, a sleeping beast. A monster, but a monster set to guard an even worse monster. Plus, if you believe the idea that the Princess in Princess Quest is a representation of the Golden Freddy spirit, that's only further evidence to say that Golden Freddy is still around and even present somewhere in the Pizzaplex. But what do you think?
A common misconception is that the main gameplay of fnaf 6 is at night, when you are in blueprint mode you are at night, you are completing your tasks and fighting off animatronics during the day because you can hear music and kids playing and laughing if you turn off all devices, just a friendly reminder
doesnt make sense that the office segment is day and the tycoon segment is night because if you put the animatronics that attack you on stage then theoretically there should be no animatronic attacking you

Help Wanted on Switch first released Princess quest, when SB came out, there is a maintenance log moment of them very clear stating "An actual standup arcade! I guess the devs pulled it from that old mobile game. Why port to arcade? ". and if PQ ending is canon, this implies Cassidy still chasing Afton, he wouldn't be chasing a mimic program.

Cassidy was labeled as the princess, who h might not be direct information, just a beta name for something the team would remember, but if it is literal, this would make sense on why the Princess needs help getting out of the arcade “save the Princess” this would be like her torment, after she tormented him. Something I wanna know is who was it that reopened Fazbear Entertainment as a Limited Liability Company and how many years it’s been between fnaf 6 and help wanted - special delivery, security breach - help wanted 2. I like to think that after fnaf 6 Fazbear Entertainment was forgotten and people were finally safe, some years pass until one day someone manages to rebrand the company as well as use the in universe games and probably things like books and stuff to cover up the horrible things that happened. Also I would like to know more about the in universe fnaf games and the in universe studio Silver Parasol.
Honestly how big of a heart attack did Henry get when running into Mike again, be it just through paperwork and phone calls or actual physical meeting each other. And with the state Mike is in….how much can you hate William Afton more? He thought the bar was already in hell and it somehow got lower. I can also see a in person meeting going “trying to kill William?” “Who isn’t trying to kill my father these days! Fire?” “FIRE”
Before Ruin came out for SB, I always had this little theory about Burntrap and such. I believed that Glitchtrap was William Afton, just his conscious or something like that. Glitchtrap controls and uses Vanny to help rebuild him and get him out of UCN. However, building a whole body isn't exactly easy lol and that's where SB comes in. Using Vanny/Vaness once again, Glitchtrap, or, William uses her to go back down to the FNAF 6 pizzeria to retrieve his old body. However, it was very damaged from the fires and such. So, still under his control, she rebuilds his body a bit using the spare parts from Endo's and such. Heck, she probably even used his old corpse and springbonnie/springtrap suit to build him up a bit as well (Hence why Burntraps torso, headwear, etc look burned and dirty). After it was done, William Afton uses Glitchtrap to escape UCN and use Burntrap as his new body. However, Cassidy (the one behind the strings of UCN) was not happy about that lol. So, she herself also gets out of UCN (or wherever the heck she and William were trapped in) and she builds her own body up...The Blob. It would make sense if Cassidy chose to build up her own body with the old animatronics, almost like she was taunting William Afton with his own creations (just like she does in UCN). The downside to this body though, is that it was huge and probably couldn't move around too much. So Cassidy couldn't find William when he was hiding down in the charging station at the "Afton Ending" of vanilla SB. Now, here comes Gregory and Freddy a while later to mess this whole thing up lmao. After the whole fight with Burntrap and such, Burntrap/William Afton becomes very vulnerable due to leaving the charging station and such. Since the whole place was getting torched up and made a lot of noise as well, it attracted the attention of Cassidy/The Blob. In the final cutscene of the Afton Ending in SB, The Blob takes (or more so strangles lmao-) Burntrap and takes him to an unknown area. I believe that, since the place was being burned up and such, it made the place break down (like we see in the cutscene) and made way for The Blob to get to Burntrap. In the end of all of this, Glitchtrap/William Afton was caught by Cassidy/The Blob and was put back to UCN to relive his nightmare again, and again, and again. *Forever.* (Now, this was before Ruin and honestly was just a fun theory I came up with during those times lol. I'm not hardcore admitting that this *is* the lore for SB, just a fun theory! I know Ruin kinda contradicts this theory a lot, so take this with a grain of salt! 😁)

I’ve never played FNAF 6, but unless I misunderstood , the scrap animatronics are able to sneak into the building through other props, like the ball pit for Molten Freddy. Presumably, the scrap animatronics can hear the kids in the main pizzeria, but can’t get to them unless they sneak into the building through the props, giving them access to the kids. And Henry developed the RASC to lure the animatronics around the vents. As for the sinkhole, some of those lawsuits feature a sinkhole opening. Presumably, the ground the pizza place is built on is already unstable, and too many heavy attractions can cause the sinkhole lawsuits. And then the fire, like you suggested, made the building sink. And then the Pizzaplex was built on top. Edit: I was always under the impression that Springtrap and Scraptrap are two different suits, with William switching suits so he wouldn’t be tricked by Balloon Boy’s voice anymore and can move more easily. Note that Scraptrap is thinner and seems to be able to speak (Springtrap’s canonicity in Special Delivery is debatable). Given how old Mimic01 is, it’s possible the Spring Bonnie suit has Mimic programming and picked up William’s murders in the same way it could have picked up showtime programming.
damn ok this is alot cuz i thought that the mimic was burn trap due to the claw marks in ruin that told us that Gregory and venessa trapped burn trap in the room and its hand was destroyed and then repaired using parts in the room and became the mimic
Tales and frights easy peasy it’s not that complicated Also, Burntrap is not located in the same place as Scraptrap. Scraptrap was burnt in the vents of the pizzeria, not the basement. We see the rooms Burntrap is in during Ruin and it’s just 3 rooms not the FFPS maze or the ventilation network we’re told FFPS is set in during the game itself Just let frights and tales be canon it’s really simple
wow you got it right I am definitely one of those people who stopped at UCN, I still got SB but I never finished it and I was never truly invested in it as I was in the rest of FNAF but honestly I'm giving it a chance and it's pretty alright, the secret of the mimic game seems like it's shaping up to be a colossal contender, thank you for making this video I don't know if I could have followed it on my own 😂

I refuse to believe the books are canon because the mimic comes of as bipolar of weather it want to be afton or not. the way you explained makes more sense of glitch trap being a ai with that same code but separate from the actual mimic though I do think afton attached his spirt to it think about it we see golden Freddy twitching away after ucn which symbolizes William beating 50/20 mode and escaping due to Cassidy being stupid enough not to let his spirit rest
I think the earthquake after the fire caused the sink hole which is the "garbage" burned up amalgamation of animationics which people call the blobs. Its really just the melted down agony of the fnaf 6 fire mixed with the sinkhole before security breach built over it giving us ruin and so on

They seem to be here just go give us an explanations on lore, like how two sols can possess one animatronic, or how William was kept in hell and tortured by toysnhk. While I believe Tales are canon to games, they too perfectly explain how fazbear ent. and one dude make original animatronics and how mimic's endo and AI were created. You can also believe Tales are also just explaining certain events just like Fazbear's Frights, example if you believe Edwin Murray is actually Henry.
is it posable we are no longer playing the games time line? so 1-6 is one timeline and then VR 1 - present day is a separate timeline (I assume one very similar to the books). i hope this isn't what is happening but i wouldn't say its impossible.

I love horror but I have issues with jumpscares. The games looks really fun but I could never play it bc of the jumpscares. It's ok to watch lets play, though even then it can sometimes be too much. I just feel that if I sat down and played them, I would either get a massive anxiety attack or 💀 from a heart attack.

Some people believe in a theory called MoltenMCI, where part of the souls from the original animatronics are inserted into the Funtimes by William through remnant experiments. So, if the souls in the originals (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy) are in the Funtimes, and Crying Child was in Golden Freddy, Crying Child was in the Funtimes and therefore in Molten Freddy. It sounds convincing. The only issue I have with the Mimic it was "Trapped there for a very, very long time..." and protected by a 80's computer. Sounds like he was trapped before Gregory and even Vanessa were born.
“…it’s been trapped down here for a really long time.” Not very, very long time. Of which Tales says it was trapped there during the pizzaplex’s construction, thus about 5 years before SB and Ruin, and 5 years would be a really long time.
While the MXES hardware was probably made in the 80’s, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t reprogrammed. It could very well have been a completely different system, then got reprogrammed before Ruin to keep Mimic trapped. Ruin may even imply it was reprogrammed, since all the nodes are set up specifically for the ruined pizzaplex. And, even though old high tech stuff exists in FNaF, I doubt something this extremely high tech would exist that long ago.
Something that I feel the fandom seems to forget: The blueprints for the remnant scooper say "There is a _possibility_ that overheating _might_ neutralize the effects (of remnant) permanently". Nowhere does it say that overheating _will_ neutralize the effects of remnant. It only says there is a _possibility._

In most stories, if this type of statement is used, it works. The only time that is not the case is when something else is discovered to do so. Now, assuming all the rules in the books carry over, we now have a method for possession to end. That said, it has not been verified in the games, and it is entirely voluntary.

Agony and Remnant are connected, in part, to memories.
The Mimic1 AI system is a digital memory bank, able to recall anything it has seen to be able to replicate it. It’s task in Help Wanted was to basically recreate the old pizzeria’s. in Storyteller, it was tasked with creating new stories. So it’s trying to create new memories using pieces of old ones.
So, the Mimic1 program ends up able to basically mimic agony and remnant by giving life to memories. Glitch trap is memories of William Afton, Vanessa memories of Elizabeth, perhaps GGY was memories of CC (or Michael). And I word it intentionally. It isn’t their memories per se, but a recreation of them based on whatever memories are available.
I kinda wish at this point they just decided to clear up the plot and build up more lore from an actual set canon

Unrelated, but I just consciously thought about how lefty is a salvaged animatronic. if lefty is a brand new thing made by Henry for the pizza sim, how is it found and salvaged? did henry just dump it in the back alley? did it escape from him? if you can buy lefty, Henry must of had it under control at for at least a little bit

My theory is that Burntrap is William, but Glitchtrap isn’t. Like Glitchtrap’s plan was to resuscitate Afton. I say resuscitate because it is hinted in Fazbear Frights that the vengeful spirit is keeping William alive and UCN is in his head. Vanny rebuilt Afton and used the remnant from Fnaf AR to resuscitate and “Heal” William. It would also be why Cassidy is in Princess quest, she is trying to keep Vanny from freeing William. In the burntrap ending, we don’t help Cassidy and Afton returns, but is almost immediately killed. In the PQ ending, We help Cassidy and William is remains trapped, at least for now.

Unpopular opinion: I like the idea that William is still alive. I get it, it’s ridiculous, but it’s that charming sort of ridiculousness that makes you scream at the character with vitriolic hatred. Have him actually kill more people to keep him up as a threat and you can keep bringing him back like Ridley in Metroid
I share this opinion and it's why I hope that Glitchtrap really is William. He's been at his most insidious in this form.
Theorys that try to connect burntrap to mimic just generaly rely on a lot of stitching to gether parts of unconfirmed book lore to try to fit it in to a the Theory.
And sometimes when watching these videos im just thinking what if we are just overcomplicateing things.
Maby the mimic isn't connected to glitchtrap at all and glitchtrap really is just Afton but digitally revived.
If you think about it that way the security breach era of fnaf lore isn't as complicated as it is now.
Of course there are still some other mysterious parts of the lore still yet to be solved that aren't going to magically disappear if the mimic has nothing to do with glitchtrap, but it will at least get rid of that one hang up.
I think mimic is soposed to be mysterious and disconnected from the rest of the series because he will be explored in a future title were proper context and info is giving about the mimic.
I think the same, personally I think that glitch trap is him or his consciousness after he escaped his hell in the form of a digital program, and I think that he’s the one making the animatronics violent. I also think that he’s the one who was trying to trick Cassy/ in the form of helpy. Now, I think that he controlled vanny in order to grab his body, and remaining parts, and use Monty to destroy glamrock Bonny for more parts. Now the fnaf 4 claws, I don’t understand. And idk where he got the eyes, probably from some unknown animatronic. And the reason that William is still even able to move is because the vengeful spirit is either keeping some of his body alive, or glitchtrap is controlling his body, moving it. Or both. Anyways, based on all this, I think glitchtrap might have tried to control the mimic, but in spite of things his software affected the mimic’s software, causing it to turn evil. Which was probably part of his scheme. The blob tho, idk it’s probably a creature of pure agony left over from the fire, I would like it to be the souls of the children for lore purposes but I do really think that that ark is over.
@@Sci-fi-gu7 id like to add that if burntrap is Afton it healps make sense why the vengeful spirit is haunting the princess quest arcades to put an end to the Glitchtrap virus.
It is a full character ark for the vengeful spirit. It first wants to keep Afton alive punish him for ever but that action allowed his remains to remain haunted and be years later discovered allowing him escape trough parts salvaged from his suit.
The vengeful spirit then understood that keeping him alive for it its self to punish Afton was a foolish mistake that allowed him to escape and continue his evil work.
So the vengeful spirit finally excepts that the best way to deal with him is to destroy him instead of imprisoning him in a nightmare. So she creates princess quest to destroy the Glitchtrap virus and purge his evil for good.
In the end the vengeful spirit succeeds and eradicate the Glitchtrap virus from the pizzaplex putting an end to his rain of terror. This probably also ment that the vengeful spirits job is done and it probably moves on after that concluding the old era of fnafs characters.
I like the idea that he's the one who knocks on the door at the start of ruin right before you get the roxy-talky.
Writing a canon compliant fanfiction has forced me to consolidate a lot of loose thoughts into my own timeline for the series, so I have my own theories about it.
First, sometime likely very early after FNAF 6, the company was bought by a greedy/stupid buisnessman who wanted to flip it and make a fortune.
Second, the well-known schems with the indie games began.
Third, the Fazbear Funtime service began. Fazbear Entertainment started to make money and become a powerhouse of a company again.
Fourth, construction on the Pizzaplex began.
Fifth, the VR game was created and Glitchtrap was introduced (reintroduced in my version) into the world.
Sixth, Glitchtrap used his holds within Vanessa and Tape Girl to solidify his holds. Though Tape Girl died in the process, with Vanessa's help he was able to get himself put into the Fazbear computer systems as we see in FNAF AR. He didn't just infect the animatronics, he also used his infection to reach out to the Fazbear CEO. He was able to scare the CEO into doing what he wanted, using threats and coercion to get what he wanted. It was because of this Vanessa was hired and the VANNI mask was created.
Seventh, Glitchtrap allowed Vanessa to 'defeat' him as we see in the FNAF AR emails. This was a way of lulling Fazbear into a false sense of security as well as establishing Vanessa as a 'good' employee.
Eighth, the Pizzaplex finished construction and the Glamrocks were created using a new model of the Mimic software that was more controllable and less likely to create another Glitchtrap. It was around this time a homeless boy, Gregory, took up a home inside the Pizzaplex.
Ninth, a girl named Cassie had her birthday party there and Gregory struck up a friendship with her. Cassie's Dad took a liking to him, recognizing that he was a decent kid despite his situation.
Tenth, Glitchtrap, needing someone who was better with computers to access the Pizzaplex's system, had Vanny hunt down Gregory and use the VANNI mask to infect his mind. This led to Dr. Rabbit. Gregory had also been chased into the room right outside the sewer system and locked inside while he was undergoing the process of being infected, covering the room with sticky notes filled with random data as Glitchtrap fought for control. However, another person ends up seeing and Vanny is forced to kill them.
Eleventh, Cassie's Dad and Cassie realized Gregory had gone missing. They spread missing posters around, but he seemed to have vanished. Cassie was left crying while Cassie's Dad became determined to find him, even enlisting his favorite animatronic, Glamrock Bonnie, to help.
Twelfth, Gregory, now controlled, used his skills to put Glitchtrap into the Pizzaplex's system and into all the Glamrock animatronics. Bonnie was scouting at the time and saw Gregory messing around. Unsure of what was happening, he intentionally disconnected himself from the system. It is around this time when the security footage of the 'intruder in a rabbit costume', the disappearance of the killed man, and the strange tides cause the Pizzaplex to temporarily close down.
Thirteeth, Bonnie realized his friends were acting strange when they all started being ordered down by Vanny to excavate the sinkhole under the Raceway. However, he was quickly seen, and though he tried to play it off, he was cornered in Monty Golf and destroyed. Glitchtrap and Vanny, realizing he was compromised, decided to leave him destroyed rather than risk his resistance spreading into a new endo. Before he died, however, Bonnie was able to send out a message to Cassie's Dad, telling him about a wide conspiracy, not to trust any of the animatronics, and how Gregory was involved somehow.
Fourteenth, Vanny and Glitchtrap finished excavating FNAF 6. They found the Agony-filled remains of Afton's corpse and the Agony-filled remains of the other animatronics. They put Burntrap into a charging case to see if they could sap anymore data from 'the source' so to say, and started working to increase the size of the Tangle by feeding it parts from the many AR animatronics, with the idea of using an AI to take control of it.
Fifteenth, Cassie's Dad began his own investigation. He realized a large amount of power was being moved down to the sinkhole and started to investigate. While down there, he ended up meeting a still-alive Charlie, who was hiding out in the Mimic basement/cave system, avoiding Vanny and the Glamrocks. She made a deal with him, telling him that if he improved the M.X.E.S. system, she would tell him how to help Gregory.
Sixteenth, Vanny and Glitchtrap start deciding to tie up some loose ends-that being, the employees of the pizzeria. They start small, replacing the night shift with STAFF bots, firing people on trumped-up charges, etc, but plan an All-Staff Meeting to deal with everyone at once.
Seventeenth, Cassie's Dad improves the M.X.E.S. system by spreading nodes of it all around the Pizzaplex, creating a watchdog, and essentially beefing it up so that it isn't just a way to hide the Mimic, but is also an AI strong enough to go toe-to-toe with Glitchtrap.
Eighteenth, Charlie tells Cassie's Dad that if he wants to help Gregory, he needs to play through the Balloon World arcade cabinets, including the one right there in the basement.
Nineteenth, as the arcade is played, Gregory's conciousness meets a strange man in the arcade who helps him beat it, getting through the levels together. When it's done, Gregory is released and the other man-Mike Afton-ends up going inside of Glamrock Freddy. Glitchtrap realizes Gregory has escaped and decides that, for safety, he needs to create a fourth Princess Quest game and keep it hidden in the basement, as a way to ensure he keeps some hold in her mind.
Twentieth, though Gregory is freed, he still has the occipital implant in his head that allows Glitchtrap to control what he sees and how he sees the world. Cassie's Dad quickly flees, and avoids the All Staff Meeting under Charlie's instructions. The All Staff Meeting occurs, and the entire Pizzaplex is replaced with STAFF bots.
Twenty-first, the Pizzaplex reopens. Gregory struggles to escape, but Glitchtrap uses the occipital implant to stop him from escaping. Gregory thinks he escapes through the front door, the fire escape, the loading dock, and he thinks he was able to attack and defeat Vanny, only to realize he was essentially trapped in VR the entire time. Each time, he drew a comic so that he could remember what he had done and try something new, because Glitchtrap could mess with his head and his memories.
Twenty-second, finally, Gregory attempts not to escape, but to go further down into the pit with Freddy/Mike. This leads to the implant being disconnected-we know from Ruin that it is out of Helpi's range-and while down there, he defeats Burntrap and upsets the Tangle.
Twenty-third, Gregory, now disconnected, realizes that they can't leave yet. Before leaving, he and Freddy decide they need to help Vanessa too. They go there and Gregory plays through the final game, freeing her, and the three all escape together.
Twenty-fourth, the now-upset Tangle rises and tunnels up into the Pizzaplex itself, causing an earthquake that destroyes the Pizzaplex. Additionally, Glitchtrap is hit by the Princess Quest game and M.X.E.S. rises up to take his place, assuming command over the Ruined animatronics and determining that no one will get to the basement.
Then, Help Wanted 2 and Ruin happen.

For me personally, Glamrock Bonnie was originally going to be used to help rebuild Burntrap, but Glitchtrap quickly found the Mimic trapped down there and chose them (it?) instead. So, they just left poor Bon to rot!😂😅
I've had a crack theory for a while that Will had some plan to survive the Pizza Place fire. He has a line in 6 were he says he knew it was a trap, after 3 he knew Michael was out to kill him, and he probably figured the children's souls weren't going to stop bothering him untill they were freed. So he set some plan (Eleanor/Glitchtrap) to resurrect himself after the fire so he could do his thing without everyone bothering him.
Here’s my personal timeline on what happened! This contains cannon information as well as my own interpretation. *This will not include mimic being glitchtrap, so don’t get all pissy and stuff*
Basically after Cassidy’s torturous nightmare, (which lasted 2 years according to the Fazbear Fright stories) Afton escaped through the red lake, a sort of portal that takes you to the afterlife or wherever your soul desires, but in the process, Fazbear Entertainment went down to the pizzeria before Pizzaplex was built or was in the process. They got some chips and circuit boards that contained a piece of Afton’s soul while he was still asleep in Nightmare mode. They used those chips to speed up the process because we all know they’re on a time crunch and needed already fit stories to help make the game or whatever. The first game they made was AR, where Afton was scanned back into the game, haunting it, his soul trapped in AR. Vanessa played the game and messed with Springtrap and stuff, he noticed her. Then, this is where it gets foggy. I’m not sure how he was scanned into Fazbear Virtual Experience as well. So then they make that game too, use some of the same circuit boards that had Afton’s soul, causing him to be trapped inside the VR game. Vanessa met him once again, but in a different form. He then tricked her and posessed her mind, causing her to be trapped with the headset (or mask) on for weeks, draining her mental health, and being stuck in Dreadbear’s basement. (YES I do believe the mimic plays a part in this, being used by Glitchtrap and Vanny to sort of have a way to appear physically, I think he’s being hijacked) There’s some evidence that Patient 46 has sensory issues (I would know) like sensitive to light and to smell. Jeremy also was described to be just practically numb and “too far gone”. In the process, Vanessa had been split in two different personalities, one being Vanny, who acts as a different person basically entirely, the more insane, bubbly and childlike side of her, and Vanessa, the one who was desperate to escape this torture. She feared every night to sleep, knowing that she’d have intense lucid dreams of that deranged man. Also another detail is that Jeremy and Vanessa specifically call Glitchtrap “He” instead of it. I think their nightmares showed his true personality and true face, idk just my thought. Vanny and Vanessa can glitch between personalities, whenever she needs to kill or has an order, she glitches within seconds to her insane, delusional side. Then Vanessa put Afton into a hard drive and coded him into Princess Quest (explains why he says let me out and stuff, and the deleted HelpWanted2 has springtrap saying “this wasn’t supposed to happen..”) And then you know what happens after that Gregory comes along blah blah lol. In the burn trap ending, why we hear distorted laughter and similarities between Glitchtrap, is because (like I said my opinion), Burntrap is just a shell. His old decayed suit is just a backup in case something goes wrong, or Vanessa doesn’t do what he says. Burn trap is just Glitchtrap, posessing his old body. If you stay near the monitors or the bed, and turn up your volume you can hear Afton’s laughs and stuff, it sounds really creepy, and he sounds very human and younger which is very interesting and more people should talk about it. Then the tangle we see is either Cassidy’s agony or Cassidy, taking him away and getting her revenge one last time. *FINISHED* This was so long but worth it to type. So as someone who belives in the Frights and Tales books being in-continuity with the Games, I wanted to write this comment to clear up some of the questions and points of confusion you listed off in the video, in hopes of spreading awareness of the answers.
1. "William not being in the springlock suit in 1280 is weird."
This is an easy one to clear up, because we don't actually even need the books to answer this, all you need to do is just take a closer look at Scraptrap. Alot of people seemingly haven't noticed this detail, but Scraptrap very notably does not have an endoskeleton, hes just Williams body in an empty suit with the only mechanical parts left being the ears and a few stray wires stuck in him. This is why William isn't in the springbonnie suit in 1280, the doctors just removed the empty shell he was wearing.
2. "What were the circut boards scanned in Help Wanted?".
I think there is enough evidence to confidently say that the circut boards that got scanned came from the Mimic, or atleast A Mimic. When HW was first being teased, among the various gameplay screenshots there was another peculiar image that was encrypted into ScottGames. An image of an irl decapitated endoskeleton head, this image was called "OrGN" aka "Origin". This head is the origin of the circut boards that got scanned, which is notable because in Tales epilogues it is specifically noted that the Mimics body and its head do not match eachother, meaning at some point the mimic was decapitated and had either his head or his body replaced.
A lot of people ignore the OrGN teaser because its a real life photo, which lead people to assume it was a teaser for the Movie at the time. But Scott specifically removed all the real life image teasers from Help Wanted specifically BECAUSE we attempted to tie them back to real life, the images were intended to be examined in the context of being relevant to the games.
3. "Why did Vanny go underneath the Pizzaplex?"
Because the Mimic was trapped down there. At the end of Tales, the Mimic is left locked in the saferoom of Freddys, springlocked and deactivated & the front door of the pizzaplex is covered with concrete.
In the Burntrap ending freddy speaks about this, telling Gregory that vanny used him to "clear the path" and low and behold, the concrete wall that was blocking anybody from getting into freddys has been torn down, allowing Vanny to reach the Mimic endoskeleton.
The Mimic was not trapped in the costume closet we find him in when Vanny went down to the pizzeria. That specifically happens AFTER security breach, when Gregory and Vanessa return to trap it so it can't endanger any more people.
4. "So what is Burntrap anyways?"
To put it short, Burntrap is the Mimic endoskeleton after vanessa reunited it with Glitchtrap gave it a springtrap cosplay.
T_Scratch_Sinkhole2 confirms beyond resonable doubt that Burntraps endoskeleton is a previous form of the Mimic, as burntraps handprints (which were specifically added in ruin) can be found inside the vent leading to the room Mimic is trapped in.
As for the origin of the costume and corpse, I would like to remind everybody that Fnaf AR is a thing and already explained this before SB even released. In AR, Vansssa is the one building all of the Springtraps in that game, complete with fake rubber william corpses to complete the look. In one of the games Email, Vanessa is even called out for buying the freaky rubber masks shes using to make the william corpses.
This was Burntrap foreshadowing, this is what Burntrap is, hes a phony replica made by Vanessa just like the AR springtraps were. Its the Mimic dressed up in a big, gross elaborate Cosplay to complete his Afton obsession.
5. "What is Tangle?"
The tales books explain him aswell, though its alot less exciting than most people theorized.
Tangle is the pile of dismantled animatronics and corpses the mimic was instructed to stack up when it was first delivered to the Pizzaplex. Throughout the epilogues this pile is repeatedly focused on, and every time someone mentions it it is always described as a "Tangle" & in one of the later epilogues one of the teens even describes that it has a sinister aura and "pulses". This is Tangles origin story, its the giant mass of restless spirits the mimic inadvertently created by throwing all his victims corpses into the pile of robots.
I have this theory about fnaf that's been prompted after the dual process Cassidy is crying child theory. So I just wanted to get thoughts on it. Basically I think Cassidy is the one William should not have killed because she is Bonnie Bros younger sister and got springlocked. I also think Bonnie bro is Cassie's dad. This means two things
1. Cassie is named after Cassidy, her father's sister who got killed (it may also have given him incentive to be a technician? Fixing spring locks maybe?)
2. Assuming Cassie's dad is the protagonist of Help Wanted 2, this is what makes him 'so special' (could also link to the princess quest ending)
In the books Cassidy is a girl with black hair. In the security log book the puppet gives cake to a girl with black hair. The minigame where the golden Freddy is given a cake and is released also looks similar. Bonnie bro has black hair as well. I think narratively it also makes the most sense to be following this family now at this point in the franchise.

This makes me think back to what was said in/about Help Wanted: the previous games were made by someone with only half the story (that they were given by Fazbear corp so who knows how much was correct) so anything that doesn’t make sense between UCN and Help Wanted & beyond can be explained by that. Help wanted is a soft-reboot and that’s why a lot of people are viewing FNAF 1-UCN as 1 story and then FNAF 1-SB/SBR as another. Because as more games come out, SteelWool & Scott can essentially re-write a lot of the previous lore as they go.

I’m still not really convinced that Glitchtrap isn’t William and is the Mimic 1 program. After all,Fazbear would have excavated the Pizza Sim area in order to build the Pizzaplex to begin with, who’s to say that they didn’t take that old tech they scanned into Help Wanted during that? It would have taken sometime them to build a mall that big anyway so that can account for any issues of timing. But other than that (and the whole Vanessa and Gregory trapping the mimic before SB and not after like how I believe it to be) I think you nailed it on the head with this video.
I think the reason “scraptrap” looks so different is because after the fire he went to sister location or somewhere with wire based endo’s. That could maybe describe how he shrunk and the wire looking bits sticking out of his side.

I do think that the idea of the mimic removing William aftons body from the blob & having the blob capture burntrap in the burntrap ending of security breach fits with Orville's voice line from ultimate custom night almost perfectly
12:05 I think the thing to note here is that the books are not a 1 to 1 of the games and so do not tell you exactly what happens in the game-line. They are a sort of side by side where the themes, philosophy and overall ideas are the same but the exact details and even some more major details are not as major to the game timeline as they may seem. I see them more as a way to help the community be guided without straight up saying "this is what happened" because fnaf has never done that and it would be pretty disappointing if they started doing it now.
I do also think that the "originally intended story" ends at fnaf6. I think that Scott wanted that story to end there and I think it does originally. He also originally wanted to end at like fnaf 3 or 4 but here we are. I think the main thing to take away is that Scott wanted to make a more skill based game as most of his games haven't been all that difficult in the grand scheme of things, especially including fnaf fangame max modes. However as Scott is he also wanted to try and tie in a lore reason for the game to exist and so the UCN being William Afton's torment and hell forever is very fitting. The games obviously go on after but I feel that is like the story being extended rather than a continuation that was expected from fnaf 6. I am all for it though, fnaf is amazing in both lore and gameplay.
Theres also the Fetch epilogues where Grim watches a figure pull out parts of a green metal rabbit suit which explain where the burntrap exoskeloton comes from and with that william aftons agony/remnant
I just watched a fnaf theory vid that theorizes that BurnTrap is actually the Mimic (+Mimic Program) and there’s actually a lot of environmental storytelling within RUIN specifically around Burntrap’s room and nearby the Mimic’s areas that seemingly collaborate on this idea. I have no idea why then Burntrap has a whole ass body in there but there is a book story about an endoskeleton shoving itself into a person so maybe it was trying to explain how the mimic got a meatsuit in SB?
Two things I want to say.
1.) The books should be taken with a grain of salt, there MAY be a few vital things in the books, but like the silver eyes series, they're their own stories.
2.) FNAF Help Wanted 2 does seem to confirm that there's more V.A.N.N.I. masks than just Vanny's and that other employees have worn them. So it's VERY likely that Glitchtrap has more followers than just Vanny, which would explain the @#$% out of the machine that was holding that mimic-like robot in RUIN.
1) Agreed. The books can be useful for inspiration, but solving the game mysteries should be possible using game clues alone. If a game theory is supported by game hints but contradicted by book lore, that doesn't mean the theory is invalid. I am so so tired of people claiming GGY proves Gregory is Patient 46. Patient 46 is so incredibly obviously Vanny. GGY just shows how the book authors are as "out of the loop" as the fans.
2) The mask in HW2 is presumably the same one Vanny dropped in the PQ ending of Security Breach. The technician headsets probably resemble the monocle thing that Helpy wears in Ruin. Vanny must have incorporated one of these headsets into her mask. At least, this is my interpretation of what the mask is.
You say there's no leads on if Henry put the mimic together, but I say we do. We know we have Edwin, who made a robot to mimic things, that he ended up taking his frustrations out on. The mimic ends up repeating this sort of behavior. In the Silver Eyes trilogy, we have something similar, but with Henry. Henry is building the Charlie bot, meant to mimic the original Charlie in a way. The last version of it, he ends up taking out his frustrations on it. This version becomes Baby and, in a way, ends up repeating the behavior of taking out frustrations on others. So now, we have these clues that tell us Henry might have done this in the games as well. He made the mimic for whatever reason, and then took his frustrations out on the mimic. It ends up repeating this behavior. No idea why he made the mimic in the games, but the reason he made it is its own theory. I may be over simplifying things a bit, but the general theme is there. Guy builds robot. Guy beats robot. Robot is dangerous now.

Quick thing I wanted to point out. I KNOW I've seen the theory that patient 46 is a possessed Gregory floated. Here you're separating glitchtrap and the mimic with GGY and Vanny being followers of Glitchtrap.
One thing I've noticed though is that there is a similarity between patient 46 and the mimic that gets singled out - they both love wearing costumes. The therapist makes a point of saying that 46 loves costumes and it's been a repeated point that the mimic loves to wear costumes. I haven't had time to think this through further and what it could mean, but I wanted to call it to attention.

Henry and His volunteer knew what this place was really about, but still made it function like a normal establishment, and I know that sounds like it's still a facade but it changes when you consider a few things from the the game's Lawsuit papers as well as what we would see in Help Wanted 2's Helpy First Aid game.
The Lawsuit papers, when taken a closer look, explain a few interesting bits of information, mainly that:
1. The Pizzeria has/is remaining open longer than just a week. This is because one of the lawsuits involves a kid who got food poisoning and stayed at the hospital for more than a year. His parents sued the Pizzeria *After* this period which would mean it was still active at this time.
Sure, the situation sounds like a troll, but there's a few others that share in common a similar time lapse.
2. That there was a sinkhole *under* the Fnaf6 pizzeria, which is mentioned in another lawsuit involving a kid who fell on the sinkhole and had to be given pizza from down there. It may mean that the underground location Cassie got to in Ruin has existed prior to Steel wool's work.
Helpy's First Aid game also shows band-aids with designs from the rockstars, which would mean Henry or his volunteer might have signed papers to treat them as official characters of the franchise, which I feel they shouldn't be doing if this is just a decoy.
It functions too much like an official establishment, it got merch and products made based on its characters for *other* places, like The Pizzaplex's Chip Restaurant, and based on the lawsuits, it could be that it went that way until the specific *week* where everything went down the way it was meant to.
Basically, that it was purposed to be a decoy, it evolved into being a real place, and it went down once the main goal was met.
Then again, I could be wrong, but I find this interesting.
It is possible that the glitch trap code originates from the chip removed from Baby. The mimic program being a failed project from fall fest 1979 was restarted by William when he started building the funtimes in order to harvest remnant. We see that while Michael is in sister location that workers can still access the underground area, Fazbear could have retrieved the chip that was her "brain" scanning the code into the help wanted server.
What do u actually salvage from the animatronics in fnaf 6? It’s clear that we sell whatever it is we salvage since we get money from it and we don’t use the parts since the animatronics for the simulator are bought. Do you think the buyer is Fazbear and they use the parts for help wanted and the pizza plex. It could explain where the circuit boards with glitch trap came from.
One thing that I don’t think is brought up a lot is the canonicity of the FNAF AR when trying to find more lore on springtrap. I mean he is a animatronic in the game and a lot of his voice lines from characters in UCN. If we want to consider that game as canon it could explain burntrap’s appearance in Security Breach with him being a more refined version of springtrap animatronic with parts of the glamrock animatronics thrown in to improve it. I know the idea is a bit of a stretch, but I think it’s weird how quickly we will accept a book as possibly canon before looking deeper into a mobile app game.
Remember,kids,if you ever think “Henry wouldn’t do that”, he would. I mean,I’m half convinced Henry was trying to kill our main character. He had cameras but didn’t give them to us to use. You can’t use one than one defence system at a time,the motion sensor is inefficient as hell and without cameras it’s hard to tell if the audio lure is working because it’s not exactly intuitive. I’m aware those are game design problems but in universe Henry made this death trap so I’m holding him accountable.
Edit: My theory is the intended person for the fnaf 6 job was the bite of ‘87 victim but -due to their lack of a frontal lobe (which controls emotions and personality)- they just didn’t show up. Also,I highly doubt Glitchy is Mimic. Two main reasons: One,when Glitchtrap attaches itself to Tape Girl’s tapes,it’s said specifically that they cannot be deleted. Mimic is just programs so it could be deleted,implying Glitchy is supernatural. The other major thing is that Tape Girl specifically says “it was looking but not like Chica or Bonnie would,it was really looking”. The whole point of the mimic is that it’s just programs set to a task,it’s no more sentient than Bonnie or Chica so if Glitchtrap is “really looking” then it has to be supernatural. Right now,my candidates are William or Crying Child (the Glitchtrap model has tears on,the big Easter egg of Dreadbear is “It’s me” in the barn WHERE VANNY GETS THE MASK THAT LETS HER TALK TO GLITCHTRAP and the references of Fredbear and ‘83 in the Dreadbear DLC (Dreadbear is literally a version of Fredbear and it's not a stretch to say CC dreaded going to Fredbear's). Also,when Glitchtrap possesses something,it’s eyes go purple. When Mimic1 takes over Helpi,his eyes go yellow.

A Thing that makes me chuckle:
The Pizzaplex is built directly atop the remains of the FNAF 6 location. I also learned around the same time as that specific reveal of the FNAF plot progression that a rich dude a couple decades ago bought some land and some dynamite and called himself an archeologist, and then blasted a hill to Find the city of Troy.
And HE DID find evidence of human settlement and called in some actual archeologists who... y'know, *don't* use dynamite, and found that he HAD found Troy.... he'd just blasted right through that layer and *six more* built atop the buried remains of the previous settlements, and MORE layers underneath the layer that they were able to identify As Troy via artifacts and recovered writings.
Back in the days of antiquity, the earth buried the remains of our cities when they became unlivable, and then someone else came by saw an Excellent Hill and built a new city on top of it, more than a DOZEN times
And then several cubic meters of that layering gets pulverized into dust forever because of a rich yahoo with dynamite who, once professionals moved into the dig site, frequently complicated operations by planting Greek artifacts in among the ones native to the site.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Agony is disposed of in one of four ways.
1- Greater heat that not even ashes remain. (or acid.)
2- Liquid nitrogen levels of cold.
3- Forgiveness.
4- Religious rites such as an exorcism and a funeral.
What if the Blob (the Tangle) is UCN itself?
Meaning, in the Burn Trap ending, what if it is just re-absorbing Afton into itself to throw him back into UCN again? What if the Blob followed Old Man Conciquences advice and so it rested? Tangled up with Burntrap inside of it, until Vanny arrives to pulls Burntrap out of there with some "trick" or method to not wake the Tangle?
(Also note it's name is "the tangle" which suggests there is an object besides itself involved)
How did they know in Fnaf 2, that the lullaby/music box would work on the puppet. I just noticed in this video, lefty uses the same lullaby or something similar to lure and contain the puppet. Is it possible Henry helped on Fnaf 2's location or did he learn about it from that location? Just a thought.
I believe that all the FNaF books are not directly part of the story of the games. Rather, the books exist INSIDE the universe (Basically, that the books are products created and probably sold within the FNaF universe).
That is, just like Bill Cipher's book from Gravity Falls, the books that we know exist within the FNaF universe. They are basically stories created by Fazbear Entertainment with the same purpose as the Help Wanted game or the indie developer's games: that the public does not believe the legends about Freddy's.
And not just the books, as in Security Breach there are images of the Ignited animatronics in the arcade machines, so the Fanverse Initiative fangames probably exist inside the canon as well.
And spin-off themed games like Into The Pit are probably in-universe as well, especially considering that the game's menu is played over what appears to be an old television.
And the same would happen with the Survival Book, since that book was written directly by Mike, so it would also be in the canon.
The only books that I don't know if they would fit with this formula would be the guides, since these are made to inform us, the players.
And I don't know if the movie would also be a product in the FNaF universe, but at the moment I doubt it. Everything seems to indicate that the movies are simply a different universe.
However, this does not mean that all of the stories are false. It is possible that a large number of these stories are very similar or copied from real events. This way, people can theorize freely without taking into account stories like In The Flesh.
This is much better than saying "not all Frights are canon, only the epilogues and their related stories are", because that excuse is terrible.
I do believe that Burntrap is NOT William Afton's corpse, I also don't think it matters that much. It could be AR Springtrap, which just spawned in the Funtime Service. This could have been the first step into trying to recreate William Afton (I believe Glitchtrap's goal is to recreate the Afton Family, with Vanessa as Elizabeth, Gregory as CC, possibly Cassie's dad as Michael, and the Mimic endo for how Glitchtrap itself will come into the real world.
It's also worth noting that Afton as both arms in The Man in Room 1280, something he does not have in FNaF6, another piece of support for burntrap to not be Willy unless we have something that can fully regrow organic material.
Maybe cold defeats agony?
There is no real evidence for this.
But fire is rather aggressive like agony and remnant is positive so that cancels it out so cold would be the opposite. It could explain the claw in the basement its an agony extractor. The tanks have nitrogen ice,(i forgot what its called) but its cold.
13:35 That dose not mean that fazzbear entertainment didn't already explore the old fnaf 6 pizzeria just because Vanny had to dig her way down there.
How i see it is that fazz bear for some reason intentionally chose to build over the fnaf 6 location and they probably before sealing it went down there to find some historical old fazz bear merch and other items to display later. And just like in fnaf 3 they found the remains of springtrap and mistake it for a verry dameged anementronic. So instead of trying to fully recover it they just took out the most important parts and left.
And thats how glitchtrap the digital version of Afton hitched a ride out of ultimate custom night.
It would also make the existence of princess quest make more sense now because the vengeful spirit unintentionally had let springtrap be reviewed by keeping him alive in ultimate custom night for all these years.
So instead of trying to do that again the vengeful spirit learns from its mistakes and just chooses to finally finish him through princess quest.
Personally i find that much more of a interesting character arc than any of those kind of convoluted and overcomplicated mimic centric theories were she for some reason just pops in and creates princess quest for no real reason.

So I never really play the games, but I am absolutely obsessed with the lore, you are my favorite FNAF lore youtuber because for some reason, just by watching your videos, I know more than my friends who have been playing this series since launch of 1.
The thing that's neat about the mimic as an enemy is that code is relatively easy to replicate. So, like, with William, we have to keep asking "how the frick is he still alive?!?" But there will be easier explanations about the mimic surviving if it's around for 19 more games

Love this theory! I think that there's some really compelling evidence in here that I've not heard anyone mention yet, like how vanny existed before they went down to the fnaf6 location.
I have a theory for where the whole Glitchtrap program came from. You made it clear that it cannot have come from Springtrap and I don't think it has. I think it came from the ORIGINAL ANIMATRONICS. Fazbear Entertainment stated that they used real programming from other animatronics to put into Help Wanted via the Mimic1 Program. But that doesn't explain why this program seems dead-set on recreating Afton UNLESS the animatronic programming that was used came from the original animatronics that the bodies of the MCI were stuffed into. These animatronics would have seen the man in a rabbit costume stuffing the kids into the animatronic suits and the agony left behind on those suits would remember the origin of said agony, AKA the Man Behind the Slaughter. I'm not saying that the ghosts of the victims are manifesting themselves in the game. I'm saying that the MEMORY left behind from the agony infected circuit boards is what exposed the program to Afton's deeds, hence why it takes the form of a man in a rabbit costume, mimicks his actions and mannerisms and even puts you in a Freddy suit in the Pizza Party ending. That's where I think Glitchtrap comes from - the agony left behind on the circuit boards that were originally part of the animatronics that the MCI were stuffed into.
And smaller theory: I believe that The Blob or The Tangle or whatever is actually Golden Freddy. It's obvious from both the final ending of UCN and the Fazbear Fright books that the Vengeful Spirit is still around and kicking, but that it doesn't have a physical form to make its own, hence why it's a ghostly aparition for most of the original games. But I don't think it's too far fetched to say that the Blob is Golden Freddy giving itself a physical form by amassing as much agony infected parts as it can, still remaining in that basement with the corpse of Afton. It acts more like a guardian, a sleeping beast. A monster, but a monster set to guard an even worse monster. Plus, if you believe the idea that the Princess in Princess Quest is a representation of the Golden Freddy spirit, that's only further evidence to say that Golden Freddy is still around and even present somewhere in the Pizzaplex.

A common misconception is that the main gameplay of fnaf 6 is at night, when you are in blueprint mode you are at night, you are completing your tasks and fighting off animatronics during the day because you can hear music and kids playing and laughing if you turn off all devices, just a friendly reminder

Something I wanna know is who was it that reopened Fazbear Entertainment as a Limited Liability Company and how many years it’s been between fnaf 6 and help wanted - special delivery, security breach - help wanted 2.
I like to think that after fnaf 6 Fazbear Entertainment was forgotten and people were finally safe, some years pass until one day someone manages to rebrand the company as well as use the in universe games and probably things like books and stuff to cover up the horrible things that happened.

Honestly how big of a heart attack did Henry get when running into Mike again, be it just through paperwork and phone calls or actual physical meeting each other. Before Ruin came out for SB, I always had this little theory about Burntrap and such.
I believed that Glitchtrap was William Afton, just his conscious or something like that. Glitchtrap controls and uses Vanny to help rebuild him and get him out of UCN. However, building a whole body isn't exactly easy lol and that's where SB comes in. Using Vanny/Vaness once again, Glitchtrap, or, William uses her to go back down to the FNAF 6 pizzeria to retrieve his old body. However, it was very damaged from the fires and such. So, still under his control, she rebuilds his body a bit using the spare parts from Endo's and such. Heck, she probably even used his old corpse and springbonnie/springtrap suit to build him up a bit as well (Hence why Burntraps torso, headwear, etc look burned and dirty).
After it was done, William Afton uses Glitchtrap to escape UCN and use Burntrap as his new body. However, Cassidy (the one behind the strings of UCN) was not happy about that lol. So, she herself also gets out of UCN (or wherever the heck she and William were trapped in) and she builds her own body up...The Blob. It would make sense if Cassidy chose to build up her own body with the old animatronics, almost like she was taunting William Afton with his own creations (just like she does in UCN). The downside to this body though, is that it was huge and probably couldn't move around too much. So Cassidy couldn't find William when he was hiding down in the charging station at the "Afton Ending" of vanilla SB.
Now, here comes Gregory and Freddy a while later to mess this whole thing up lmao. After the whole fight with Burntrap and such, Burntrap/William Afton becomes very vulnerable due to leaving the charging station and such. Since the whole place was getting torched up and made a lot of noise as well, it attracted the attention of Cassidy/The Blob. In the final cutscene of the Afton Ending in SB, The Blob takes (or more so strangles lmao-) Burntrap and takes him to an unknown area. I believe that, since the place was being burned up and such, it made the place break down (like we see in the cutscene) and made way for The Blob to get to Burntrap.
In the end of all of this, Glitchtrap/William Afton was caught by Cassidy/The Blob and was put back to UCN to relive his nightmare again, and again, and again. *Forever.*
(Now, this was before Ruin and honestly was just a fun theory I came up with during those times lol. I'm not hardcore admitting that this *is* the lore for SB, just a fun theory! I know Ruin kinda contradicts this theory a lot, so take this with a grain of salt! 😁)

I’ve never played FNAF 6, but unless I misunderstood , the scrap animatronics are able to sneak into the building through other props, like the ball pit for Molten Freddy. Presumably, the scrap animatronics can hear the kids in the main pizzeria, but can’t get to them unless they sneak into the building through the props, giving them access to the kids. And Henry developed the RASC to lure the animatronics around the vents.
As for the sinkhole, some of those lawsuits feature a sinkhole opening. Presumably, the ground the pizza place is built on is already unstable, and too many heavy attractions can cause the sinkhole lawsuits. And then the fire, like you suggested, made the building sink. And then the Pizzaplex was built on top.
Edit: I was always under the impression that Springtrap and Scraptrap are two different suits, with William switching suits so he wouldn’t be tricked by Balloon Boy’s voice anymore and can move more easily. Note that Scraptrap is thinner and seems to be able to speak (Springtrap’s canonicity in Special Delivery is debatable). Given how old Mimic01 is, it’s possible the Spring Bonnie suit has Mimic programming and picked up William’s murders in the same way it could have picked up showtime programming.
damn ok this is alot cuz i thought that the mimic was burn trap due to the claw marks in ruin that told us that Gregory and venessa trapped burn trap in the room and its hand was destroyed and then repaired using parts in the room and became the mimic

Also, Burntrap is not located in the same place as Scraptrap. Scraptrap was burnt in the vents of the pizzeria, not the basement. We see the rooms Burntrap is in during Ruin and it’s just 3 rooms not the FFPS maze or the ventilation network we’re told FFPS is set in during the game itself

wow you got it right I am definitely one of those people who stopped at UCN, I still got SB but I never finished it and I was never truly invested in it as I was in the rest of FNAF but honestly I'm giving it a chance and it's pretty alright, the secret of the mimic game seems like it's shaping up to be a colossal contender, thank you for making this video I don't know if I could have followed it on my own 😂

I refuse to believe the books are canon because the mimic comes of as bipolar of weather it want to be afton or not. the way you explained makes more sense of glitch trap being a ai with that same code but separate from the actual mimic though I do think afton attached his spirt to it think about it we see golden Freddy twitching away after ucn which symbolizes William beating 50/20 mode and escaping due to Cassidy being stupid enough not to let his spirit rest

I think the earthquake after the fire caused the sink hole which is the "garbage" burned up amalgamation of animationics which people call the blobs. Its really just the melted down agony of the fnaf 6 fire mixed with the sinkhole before security breach built over it giving us ruin and so on

Thanks for explaining everything. For me the most confusing part was about Fazbear's Frights books, but now I don't believe they are canon to games, well kinda. They seem to be here just go give us an explanations on lore, like how two sols can possess one animatronic, or how William was kept in hell and tortured by toysnhk.
While I believe Tales are canon to games, they too perfectly explain how fazbear ent. and one dude make original animatronics and how mimic's endo and AI were created. You can also believe Tales are also just explaining certain events just like Fazbear's Frights, example if you believe Edwin Murray is actually Henry.
is it posable we are no longer playing the games time line? so 1-6 is one timeline and then VR 1 - present day is a separate timeline (I assume one very similar to the books). i hope this isn't what is happening but i wouldn't say its impossible.
