I wear long sleeve button down shirts with a patch pocket (or two). Long sleeves reduce sun exposure and prevent mosquitos from biting. The patch pocket holds a clip on pen, pen light, small reading glasses, paper notes, receipts, screws, etc. BTW: to clean white clothes use liquid ammonia instead of bleach. It works great to remove sweat stains and will make them white again.
Always interesting to see what people carry, and thanks for the explanation as to why you carry things the way you do. I wear the carpenter style jeans (okay carhartts) but my folding knife goes in the left side pocket. My job doesn’t allow the fixed blade knifes. My zippo lives in a tactical zippo pouch, it’s cheap and mine hasn’t broke in three years. And a leather man in a condor pistol mag pouch. I prefer steel toe boots over composite and I usually wear the Georgia loggers, it’s a work requirement for leather covered steel toed boots.
Its so refreshing seeing people have edc supplies and actually use everything. like for work I have a Leatherman surge I wear with the nylon sheath that it comes with on a buckleless Carhartt belt and a tiny eagtac flashlight on my keychain and that's all. good stuff man!!!
I always keep a SAK Fieldmaster in my pocket, and carry a small set of slip joint plyers and a diamond file as need and/ or convenience dictates. I personally find it more handy/ useful than a Leatherman.

This was actually a pleasure to watch! You can see that you really ended up with a nice edc build based on experience. There are to many EDC vids nowadays were people show all those nice items that are brand new and haven't been used once. Great setup you are running my man :)
I try to keep my gear light and only carry things I will need everyday. I can’t afford a bunch of brand new top of the line tools so I make, what I can afford, work.
Great carry! If you’re wanting to lighten up your pouch a little bit..a 6” knipex cobra pliers would work well with this set up if you didn’t want to carry multiple size wrenches..your video popped up in my feed..had to check it out!
Great kit and nice to hear their functionality. A Knipex adjustable wrench could be a nice addition to your pouch carry. I’d chuck a few chunky zip-ties and some small Gorilla tape in the there too, but you know what you need for the daily tasks you do and imagine you’ve probably considered those before.
Really enjoyed this, super refreshing. Tired of seeing non working edc’s already. Only edc that matters is one that’s being put to work. All that $500 knives & pens to sit in an office is so weird to me.
No doubt. Most EDC’s are normal people trying to be covert assassins I feel like. These are tools that I use every single day that make my life easier.
@@TheFarmsteadWay Definitely man, with you there. Thats what EDC is all about, right tools for your daily jobs. I don’t do work like you, but definitely have my edc for work & every item has its purpose & gets seriously used. I do electrical/ landscaping so I’m all about using my shit.
The electrical tape your talking about is probably 33. But watch bc in really hot weather the adhesive will melt a little and get all over anything else it’s touching in that pouch lol. I know from experience…
Good info. I have found multi tools are just too small for farm work. A good stout folder is absolutely a must. I am usually never far from a tool stash personally so carrying them around with me is unnecessary. Have thought about a small fixed blade but so far the folder works great. Absolutely wear cheap disposable clothing. Between paint, dirt, tractor grease, etc. you will destroy shirts and pants and shirts. Well done.
Fantastic video...real man stuff. I'd like to know where you got that belt please, if possible. Glad your channel popped up on my feed...now a subscriber with the little bell notification turned ON. 🙂👍
I think your knife might be the brisa trapper if you wonder ! It’s a great knife, i’m actually hesitating between the brisa trapper and the brisa trooper, as i would like a tough and thick knife for hard work Love this video !
Nice kit. 👍 Thanks for sharing. I don’t know if I recommended this already, but if you’re looking for a channel that’s talks about good men’s adventure stories, then the channel L.S. Author is a good start.

@@Fishing_east_tennessee with the type of work that I do would be very uncomfortable and difficult to carry a fire on all my person while working. I guess I could technically keep a pistol in the glove box, but for the type of work I do it’s not very practical.
