Brother I'm so glad y'all are putting some truth out there. Some of these so called prepared folks I wouldn't follow across the creek. People need this solid sound advice. When I went into the army in 83 all my drill Cadre were Vietnam veterans they didn't play I learned a lot from them. I'm sad at what our boys get taught now. But that's another show . I use the dominant side as well. I will add a few of the things that you talked about like the 550 cord and I like that lighter instead of a Bic. Also that pouch for my leather man. I have a Phoenix Arms 22 that if I'm awake is with me. And the Lord in my heart. Keep up the good work and God bless you all
With the gloves, I need a pair that is at least 2 or 3 xl glove ( very hard to find). The flash light we carry is also a Tazer, it will also start a fire. As a child, in the spring the river (Kennabeci) ce would cause flooding. Always had clothes to jump into on a moments notice. That's part of being prepared

This was very informative! I really appreciate you making this video! So much better to be prepared! I agree with you, it’s better to buy quality as you can, so it’s more dependable! My dad always taught me that! I love Leatherman tools! Had one since I was a kid! My dad also always taught me to be prepared! I keep stuff in my car and we have to go bags by front door for emergencies. The world is changing and the more prepared, the better we will be! God says he helps those who help themselves! God Bless you and your family!
@@PermaPasturesFarm21 Yes my dad taught me to work on cars, make home repairs, how to garden, fish, hunt, how to rewire lamps, refinish and repurpose and so much more! Sadly he passed away a few years ago, but I’ll never forget all he taught me! He was the best dad a girl could ask for!
For what it’s worth, I learned from my parents to acquire stuff in two rounds, just good enough to be SOMETHING and the best I can get. My parents’ furniture was like that, early attic and seriously sound.
They say you should have 2 pair of shoes or boots and change them one day on one day off, better for feet and gives your shoes or boots a chance to dry out. Dog treats Billy😀
Loved this video! Great info! This is something that has been on my mind to research more now as a single mom of 3. I would love to see a video like this from Michelle’s perspective and maybe what her EDC is compared to yours and well as choice of pants. Probably not much different. But would be nice to see! Thanks!
Very good information. Will be looking for the other video's to come. And really enjoyed the live last night. Listen to a couple of Joel podcast today. Thanks for all you and your family do.
I'll have to try those gloves - although they are out of stock on Large right now. Hubby is a mechanic - and a paraplegic - so he wears gloves much of the time to protect against wear and tear from his wheelchair tires (we have an electric chair, but he stays with the manual for the sake of exercise) plus he's using grinding and cutting wheels, welder, impact wrenches, etc. and is more conscious about protecting his hands than most people are. Lately I've had trouble finding gloves that are suitable for his needs, with good grip and flexibility, and these sound like they just might fit the bill!
@@PermaPasturesFarm21 . Home Depot has them glove section . I worked in machine shop and done maintenance . Awesome gloves . And a add is Milwaukee 6-1 razor knife ..
Billy, you need at minimum a tourniquet on your body just in case. Accidents can happen on the farm. I will bring you one at SRF, I also have a small pocket Med kit I will bring for you. SOE new Ankle Med kit is great. I have worn it every day since Saturday to test it out. I really like these videos on this subject. Your other videos are of course gold, but I have found these videos to be just as educational. Great stuff.
When I carry, it's a 1911/.45 ("Old Corps"), heavy but effective. Ever since 1954 I've had a "P38" can opener on my key ring. My "C-rations were dated 1945...LOL ! My best friend was a sniper in the 82nd in Nam. You're a worthy troop! Stay the course. Semper Fi !
Love this! I was thinking McGuyver doesn't have nothing like this! LOL... Great ideas to build on and scenarios galore! Preparedness with amazing detail THANK YOU!! s
Outstanding video! I love the way you broke it down and explained the whys and why nots. I have carried a pocket knife since I was 5 years old (59 now) and I bought my 1st Leatherman after basic training at Ft Sill in 1984 and have carried one ever since. When someone asks me why I carry them, I almost always am able to reply, "why do you always ask me if you can borrow it".
Lost my new Leatherman a few weeks ago. I gotta visit John’s factory one of these days. Thanks for showing these items to us. My pockets are full of all sorts of things. It takes a while to get my wallet out.
I EDC 1 TQ on my person everyday and I carry a 2nd one too when I’m on duty. That would be a good addition for you since you carry a weapon….great video, as always!
Thanks for the video, no need to apologize about talking about "preparedness". I think when most present EDC it's all this tactical stuff, this is a good balance between tactical and practical in my opinion. The pistol mag pouch is a good idea ... But where is the MacGyver duct tape? Haha
I’m a caretaker working alone on 300 acres. I keep a whistle on me all the time. Along with a signal mirror, gun, bandana, tourniquet, flashlight, utility knife, leatherman, lighter, carmex, pen and paper.
I would add an Ifak, our at least a tourniquet and some compressed gaze. The test of my edc is practically the same as yours. Great video, man. God bless 💪🏼
Looks like a very well thought out edc farm carry. Will have to check out those gloves. Have worn some Duluth Trading pants but their belt loop spacing just bugs me for some reason. I just wear Carhartt carpenter's pants. On the left side I keep a keyring with a small ferro rod, Uncle Bill's tweezer, and a micro photon light in red attached to it along with a silver eagle and a can of Copenhagen in the front pocket, flashlight in side pocket, and a small Israeli pressure bandage and a pack of compressed gauze in the back pocket. On the right side is a bic, very small swiss army knife, a Spyderco folder, and 3 quarters in the front pocket, my phone and a cheap, credit card sized fresnel lens in the two side pockets, and a flat emergency blanket in the back pocket. The fresnel lens is not for fire-starting, it is in case I lose or break my reading glasses and need to read something. The emergency blanket is for hypothermia/shock. Took a TCCC course last August and now I always carry a tourniquet. If you or someone else really needs a tourniquet, you have about a 90-120 second window to apply it. The belt I wear is made by KORE. It is really comfortable and adjustable compared to some other belts I have worn. On the right hip side, I have a tq pouch that also holds a pair of gloves, emt shears, and a ballpoint and sharpie. Right next to the tq pouch is a single mag pouch, and then a leather sheath for my Leatherman. All three pouches fit tight between two belt loops, keeps the slop out. Left hip side is an owb Glock 19 holster. While on the farm doing daily stuff, I replace the slide/upper on the Glock with a CMMG aluminum .22lr slide and a 10 rd .22lr magazine. Knocks about 14 ounces off the weight of the Glock. Great for training/practice/plinking. The wool socks I wear daily are made by Covert Threads. Made with US merino wool and made in Hickory, NC. Do I like carrying all that stuff on my belt and in my pockets on a daily basis? No, I do not. It is a pain in the ass to get into a car or sit in a lawn chair and your holster and/or your tq pouch hangs up on the armrest. Do family members make fun of me sometimes? Of course they do. Occasionally, I will put on only a pair of shorts/pants to go get something from the barn or shut up the chickens and I feel like I am floating from having nothing in my pockets and no belt. I also feel vulnerable . As far as not wearing a clean pair of pants each day, I switch out my carhartt pants when I take them off and they stand up by themselves. One of the best lines I ever heard was from Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch addressing those that said carrying every day is "uncomfortable". Paraphrasing but he said what does comfort have to do with self-protection of your self and those you love and care about. Suck it up buttercup.
Carried and daily used a Leatherman Wave for years, stepped up to the slightly larger Surge these days. Have nothing but good things to say about the quality of their tools.
Everybody's got their personal set-up that works best for them. I prefer a slightly-forward, non-dominant cross-draw carry for my PT-709. It's my bang-up, get-dirty, don't care if it gets uglified EDC weapon. In that carry, I can access it standing, sitting in a vehicle or chair, prone (working under vehicles, the house, etc.), without elbow interference. It's also totally within my workspace, so there's no sneaking or snatch-and-grabbing...you want it, you gotta deal with me face-to-face for it.
Great video! Thanks for your insights. Going to switch out my shoe laces asap. As a professional gardener, I'm still looking for a good way to carry my secateurs/pruners. Most of the time, they're in my hand, but I do tend to put them down and sometimes lose them. Problem is that leather sheaths (or any sheath) make access inefficient. And the pruner tips put holes in everything! Plus they're about 8 inches long so they fall out of pockets. The struggle is real
I use Fiskers pruners and have a leather pouch from a Corona pruner which works perfect. Lasted for years. I also have nylon pouch for my 2nd set of pruners and it has also held up without wear. They both have a spring metal clip for my belt and make it very handy and efficient for either left or right side. I bought both at Lowes.
MAN, I’m telling you, this was a SOLID EDC. When I watched it yesterday, I immediately paused the video, changed out my shoe laces to 550 cord, and left the house for errands. My shoe cordage came undone - finished watching the remaining video this morning. I am doing the square knot for CERTAIN. The woman and I don’t have a homestead with acreage yet - we started growing food for the first time last season. But, those gloves and other items mentioned - I will grab. My non-homestead EDC (I also follow the right-dominate, left-subordinate carry). Right side: Glock 19 in a Werkz IWB holster, Leatherman Surge, POM OC spray, phone back right pocket, Ryker Nylon ankle holster (Leatherman Raptor sheers, Soft-T wide, Combat Gauze, gloves, compact HyFin chest seal, Sharpie with Gorilla tape wrapped on it, bag of allergenic medicine for my spouse). Left side: SOE Cobra key fob, Streamlight Macrosteam, extra magazine in a Werkz IWB holster, bandanna back left pocket. Kore belt, Rosary and SOE business card wallet in flannel pockets - new, 550 cordage for shoe lace. Thanks for the SOLID VID! 👊🇺🇸🇺🇸
The Leatherman blasting cap crimpers and punch are the only crimpers I carry. Razor sharp knife, great cap crimper and replaceable shears. The EOD MUT is the way to go for $3 bills!
Excellent rundown of your EDC. As someone who is always considering preparedness in my homesteading/Permaculture, as well, i very much appreciate how you weave both worlds together. As an aside.I am like you, and my water bottle is never more than arms reach away from me. So i incorporated it into my EDC I found a small Molle shoulder strap and bag arrangement for it, that lets me keep it around hands free, and lets me have pockets for it. In those pockets i keep a way of making fire, a small folding knife, paracord, a small waterproof flashlight, and a big carpenters bag folded up tight, as an always with me superlite ohshit kit in case i get separated from my bag or otherwise caught with my pants down, as that water bottle never leaves my side My Horihori is usually hanging off the strap on a carabiner as well, when im out and about doing farmwork/bushcraft as my never leave home without it tool
My list keeps growing and after 78 years I just had to add one more item of EDC. Suspenders. That's right Gunny, you chewed my entire axx off. LOL Really as seasons and times change around the farm, I have to change up items ocassionally. But cargo pants are the only thing I feel comfortable in. I like the wrangler stretch ones. No binding like with denum.
Great video Billy! The only thing I would add is a sharpie. Also Zippo makes a butane torch insert for their lighters which is handy. I need to try those deluth pants. 5.11 was my go to, but I’m been wearing Truwerk lately. I always thought about using that double belt like the police have so you could remove the outer part with all your tools when you go inside or use the bathroom. I’ve almost lost a few leathermen down the toilet 😂
This is Phil Jr. carry most of that on me. The rest I leave on my Utv. Also carry walkie-talkie around the farm in case of an emergency, don’t always notice when I’m getting a call or message on my cell phone.
After leaving the Corps, I've always have followed your suggestions... pending upon my daily task; 40+ years. When I'm in Guangxi, I wear a chest pouch slinger over my shoulder; since 2004. Also reduced my weight by 100 pounds... trying to keep up with my wife, a tai chi master/ teacher. It's easy to do and always be ready. As my wife says, you got it when you or I need it! Think ahead of all possibilities. As for those hype adv, it's only lining their pockets... some items I may have but, will sit at my home location until I need it on a trip. Stateside, I'm just that farmer that leaves home with a dollar tree plastic bucket... it has a snack on top to hide all my goodies underneath! LOL, only if they knew! The Corps in the 70s, taught me to be ready and carry what's needed for that task. Don't weight yourself down. Now retired, lol, it's more important to be smart and ready. BTW, my night stand top is set to handle nightly needs. Always have a great day!
Whenever I head out on my land I take my German shepherd and my large walking stick. I am going to start carrying some of these things as well that you mentioned. Can you recommend boots? I got some new ones 6 months ago and they look like 6 year old boots already. I had considered Jocko's Origin boots but they are so pricey...... love the shoelace advice!
Thank you for making this video!! I watched it when it was new and then fast forward a couple months, my husband put a Leatherman on his Christmas wish list. I remembered your EDC review and I came back to find this video so I knew which one was the right one to get him. ♥️
I really appreciate hearing your perspective on the times we live in. I agree with Will that you should do the videos and set them in a playlist for those that want to hear that message. You could come up with a unique naming convention to signal its part of that set so the title always starts with the cue.
Check out the Revolt RAPT’R neck knife. Personally I dont like wearing a lot on my belt or even too much in pockets so having a backup water resistant fire starter, cordage, and knife in a light weight necklace is awesome. In a pinch Ive even used the knife to disbatch and dress feral hogs. Not ideal but when you lose or cant access your primary it is an effective and secure emergency option.
Husband just told me I needed to watch "your twin brain's" video. Ha! Those little Rugers are great, ain't they? We may or may not have a couple of them. Literally small and inconspicuous enough to have in a pocket or even tucked into a bra, providing the.. uhm.. volume (?). Even when I'm out early am, usually in sleep pants and t shirt - no pockets - I have the SOE cross body bag. Either need to get the double wide or maybe the FUPA. Even the regular sized cross body has enough room to tuck my pew that starts with GL 30 and remove with no snagging. My flashlight of preference for outside is my 35 year old, still not retired 3 cell Mag light back from the old cop days. 😂 Probably need a new one. Love the replacement 550 laces. I will be doing that, thank ya! That'll go nicely with my worn out, beloved BDU pants. Yes, I'm aware that's sad. Take care, y'all!
Try the Free series leathermans, super nice to be able to get to your pliers with one hand. You should give the neck knife a shot, won't be with out my MT Knives Genesis!
Also, I still carry one of my unit coins of the many I recieved. I was a Bn staff officer and my cmdr presented me a coin for doing a good job even before we went to combat. Its beat up. The paint is chipped up, but it still means the most of all the coins I recieved over 33 years so i carry it EDC. Its probably THE ONE THING I carry that has no functional purpose.
Great informative video my brother! I always carry a pocket knife for sure, and few other things that I possibly might need. I like that belt and the ammo pouch, I would like to get some of those if SOE sells them. Thanks for sharing my friend. 🙌🏻👍🏻🙌🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Great video. .. my husband (also Army Cav Scout) is always after me to have an EDC and it's just so much and so bulky... I just don't really find a good way to do it. I'm interested in knowing if your wife has an EDC and what does that look like for a female? I personally feel that I couldn't do the amount of items that he carries and I'm just curious if there is a trimmed down version that would benefit the female physique and clothing options? Thanks!
My wife is a very small framed woman as well and had that concern. Several years ago, I bought her a compact .40 S&W, which I thought was very small and the smallest caliber I'd want her to carry. However, she still wouldnt carry it claiming it was too big. So I found a super compact Glock .380. It was really smaller than I think will do much good but she carries it. So the weapon she carries is better than the weapon she wont carry. Plus, it's small enough to fit well in her small hands as well.
Hey Billy, great video. Hope to get to finally meet you at the MWPP Fall Festival this week. I’m also a big believer in the Duluth pants. I never really considered it EDC but I guess they are. I’ve been wearing their flex firehose pants for almost 8 years now because they work and they hold up. I usually get 6-7 years out of them. I’ve only thrown away 3-4 pair in the last 8+ years. What about an ifak? I did my edc video several weeks ago and follow a lot of the same principles. Curious what your thoughts are on carrying a small but capable medical setup. I’ve found that the house or truck where the bigger kit can often live can be too far away at times in a real emergency.
It would be cool to see what a woman should carry. I don't wear cargo anything. My husband does. Maybe a cross body type of thing, not just a purse because they can get snatched easily. Unfortunately I'm an urban dweller so I don't have to worry about big critters (4 legged).
Like the majority of other women who have longer hair, I always carry a hair tie on my wrist. I learned years ago to carry two. Sometimes I use it to twist up my milk cows tail when she insists on smacking me in the face. Sometimes I use it to hang up the edge of a hose that I need to slow drip. Other times I have used it too quickly hang a feed bucket out of the reach of nosy chickens. And of course when my own hair is getting in the way. Just my two cents...
I have carried a LCP for years . That being said it is not a fun gun to shot = not as much range time. Easy carry but really only good very short range.
Hello Billy. What are those pouches you wear on your belt that you got from SOE? I looked on the SOE website and did not see them. I may be searching for the wrong item?
What boots would you recommend? I got a pair of wolverines that are still serviceable after 8 years of serious daily usage. But now when I went to get a backup pair I cannot find anything that will hold a candle to my old wolverine boots. They are leather and semi waterproof.
I didnt see you cover a wallet or keys. Do you not carry those? On the point of keys: I carry a small set of keys, but I carry 2 sets. I have bought all keyed alike door knobs for my house and garage so one keys opens anything. And then I carry my truck key, so 2 keys plus a fob on my key ring. That's in my right pocket. But then I carry a 2nd set less the fob in my left pocket. Since I have locked my truck with the key in the ignition, and it was running, in which my wife had to come to town to "rescue me" with a spare key, I learned to carry a second set. It's a small footprint for such a valuable backup. So I have a 2nd truck AND house key in my left pocket.

I’m starting to wonder if we were raised by the same parents.
Those utility pocket knives are the best thing ever. I carry a Milwaukee brand everyday
They sure are great my friend!
They say you should have 2 pair of shoes or boots and change them one day on one day off, better for feet and gives your shoes or boots a chance to dry out.
Dog treats Billy😀
I totally agree with you on the boots Rick! It definitely does make a difference.
Loved this video! Great info! This is something that has been on my mind to research more now as a single mom of 3. I would love to see a video like this from Michelle’s perspective and maybe what her EDC is compared to yours and well as choice of pants. Probably not much different. But would be nice to see! Thanks!
That’s a good idea Raquel. Thank you so much.
Great video. I love my rugers. Have quite a few of them!
Also have my nice belt from the usmc mixed martial arts program 👌
I like the way you roll my friend
Very good information. Will be looking for the other video's to come. And really enjoyed the live last night. Listen to a couple of Joel podcast today. Thanks for all you and your family do.
Thank you so much Patty
I'll have to try those gloves - although they are out of stock on Large right now. Hubby is a mechanic - and a paraplegic - so he wears gloves much of the time to protect against wear and tear from his wheelchair tires (we have an electric chair, but he stays with the manual for the sake of exercise) plus he's using grinding and cutting wheels, welder, impact wrenches, etc. and is more conscious about protecting his hands than most people are. Lately I've had trouble finding gloves that are suitable for his needs, with good grip and flexibility, and these sound like they just might fit the bill!
Maxi flex gloves are perfect for that very thing Julia!
@@PermaPasturesFarm21 . Home Depot has them glove section . I worked in machine shop and done maintenance . Awesome gloves . And a add is Milwaukee 6-1 razor knife ..
Hook blades work for cutting feed sacks ..
Thank you so much Chuck! I’m definitely going to try and do more of these.
That belt will work as a tourniquet in an emergency
biggest thing i learn from all the every day carry folks is perspective its what you need from day too day
When I carry, it's a 1911/.45 ("Old Corps"), heavy but effective.
Preparedness with amazing detail THANK YOU!!
s
Thank you so much my friend!
You are spot on! None in my circle of friends think or live like you. Good 2 know that I'm not alone!
Thank you so much Charles!
Glad you liked the video Jeff! Thank you so much.
Thumbs up for the Lonesome Dove reference.
Lost my new Leatherman a few weeks ago. I gotta visit John’s factory one of these days. Thanks for showing these items to us. My pockets are full of all sorts of things. It takes a while to get my wallet out.
I know exactly what you mean my friend!
Duluth Firehose pants are outstanding.
We use the same type of gloves. They really are great to use!
They really are my friend!
I would add some basic medical equipment like a tq, some quick clot, bleeding control
SOE just released an ankle med kit also
I’m probably gonna pick one up when I’m out there in a couple of weeks.
I EDC 1 TQ on my person everyday and I carry a 2nd one too when I’m on duty. That would be a good addition for you since you carry a weapon….great video, as always!
Glad you liked the video. Thank you so much Blake!
thanks so much! So much common sense! God bless you! Ya oughta try some homemade hand spun and knitted alpaca socks! just sayin...
That sounds like a winner to me! Where do I get some?
Thanks for the video, no need to apologize about talking about "preparedness". I think when most present EDC it's all this tactical stuff, this is a good balance between tactical and practical in my opinion. The pistol mag pouch is a good idea ... But where is the MacGyver duct tape? Haha
The duct tape is around my old pistol mag pouch. Ha ha!
I’m a caretaker working alone on 300 acres. I keep a whistle on me all the time. Along with a signal mirror, gun, bandana, tourniquet, flashlight, utility knife, leatherman, lighter, carmex, pen and paper.
Great video Billy. My EDC is similar. I also add in a tourniquet, alcohol wipes, ear plugs, dental floss, and aspirin.
Those are good to have too my friend. Glad you liked the video. Thank you so much!
I would add an Ifak, our at least a tourniquet and some compressed gaze. The test of my edc is practically the same as yours.
Great video, man.
God bless 💪🏼
Thank you so much my friend. God bless!
I’ll definitely have to check out some of the things you mentioned. I’m glad you enjoyed the video Dean! Thank you so much.
Great video! I would have to say I love my mini olight Keychain flashlight. No bulk with good power.
I’ll have to check one of those out.
You’re right my friend! Nice set up!
Good info, I always carry a bandana.
Thank you so much Elwyn!
Good job brother.
Thank you so much Darryl!
Can you make a really good point my friend! I’ve always had that same problem as well trying to carry them around.
@@RoyatAvalonFarms thank you! I'll check them out.
I got to have one of those one of these days Andrew!
Excellent rundown of your EDC. As someone who is always considering preparedness in my homesteading/Permaculture, as well, i very much appreciate how you weave both worlds together.
As an aside.I am like you, and my water bottle is never more than arms reach away from me. So i incorporated it into my EDC
I found a small Molle shoulder strap and bag arrangement for it, that lets me keep it around hands free, and lets me have pockets for it. In those pockets i keep a way of making fire, a small folding knife, paracord, a small waterproof flashlight, and a big carpenters bag folded up tight, as an always with me superlite ohshit kit in case i get separated from my bag or otherwise caught with my pants down, as that water bottle never leaves my side
My Horihori is usually hanging off the strap on a carabiner as well, when im out and about doing farmwork/bushcraft as my never leave home without it tool
I only feel comfortable in cargo as well. I won't even wear dress pants anymore.
Good thinking Eric. I might have to add those. Thank you so much!
Loving these short videos!!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge
This is Phil Jr. carry most of that on me. The rest I leave on my Utv. Also carry walkie-talkie around the farm in case of an emergency, don’t always notice when I’m getting a call or message on my cell phone.
Walkie talkies are a good idea Cheryl, especially with the kind of cell service we have on our farm.
i had poachers confront me one on my land , they decided to leave .because i was armed .
That’s what I’m talking about Chris
would hope so
Thanks for this. Shared.
Glad you liked the video Sheril!
👍👍Thanks this will help. I am in N. TX on the Red River
I’m glad this video will help you Dave!
You’re welcome my friend! Thank you so much for watching the video.
I’ll have to check that out Dale. Thank you!
I’m glad you enjoyed that video my friend. Thank you so much!
Try the Free series leathermans, super nice to be able to get to your pliers with one hand.
You should give the neck knife a shot, won't be with out my MT Knives Genesis!
I’ll have to look into those!
Love my grip6.
It’s definitely a good product!
H/T, great content. Looking forward for more.
Thanks!
I’ll have to get her to do her version of it Julie. Great idea!
Catch a few tics, place a little bit of bone sauce in the cage with them, and see if it repels those buggers! I'd like to see a video on that.
That’s a nice looking belt you showed us today. Does SOE carry this item?
They have another type but I’m going to ask when I’m there in a couple of weeks.
If you’d like a leather pouch, I’d love to make one for ya!
Always game for another pouch my friend!
Drives me out of my mind when I lose something. I just can't rest until I find it
I don’t mind paying three prices for what will last twelve times as long. Quality is NOT CHEAP, but planned obsolescence is SERIOUSLY COSTLY.
I could not have stated that any better Vicki!
Phone Incase you need to call 911😀
Great translator too...😉
I never thought about the translator part.
Windproof torch lighter often uses butane as fuel and in my experience it can evaporate before I have an opportunity to use it.
I want one of those SOE pouches
It would be cool to see what a woman should carry. I don't wear cargo anything. My husband does. Maybe a cross body type of thing, not just a purse because they can get snatched easily. Unfortunately I'm an urban dweller so I don't have to worry about big critters (4 legged).
That’s a good idea Christie!
i alway carry two knives & a snake shooter
Like the majority of other women who have longer hair, I always carry a hair tie on my wrist. I learned years ago to carry two. Sometimes I use it to twist up my milk cows tail when she insists on smacking me in the face. Sometimes I use it to hang up the edge of a hose that I need to slow drip. Other times I have used it too quickly hang a feed bucket out of the reach of nosy chickens. And of course when my own hair is getting in the way. Just my two cents...
I'm assuming that you have a go bag & bottled water in your truck? Also, how about the old wallet in the zip-lock bag trick?
The truck is always outfitted with food and water!
Thanks for the video
snake shooter by bond arms ,made in texas.
Sounds like a winner to me
👍 👍 👍 👍
I have carried a LCP for years . That being said it is not a fun gun to shot = not as much range time. Easy carry but really only good very short range.
Hello Billy. What are those pouches you wear on your belt that you got from SOE? I looked on the SOE website and did not see them. I may be searching for the wrong item?
They are pistol magazine pouches.
Thank you
rugers a find fire arms i got a few ,but i realy likr my bretta 92 y2k 9mm
That’s definitely a winner in my book
I did see the pin point, blue flame on the lighter.
That thing definitely gets the job done Dennis!
We are going home very very soon.
What boots would you recommend? I got a pair of wolverines that are still serviceable after 8 years of serious daily usage. But now when I went to get a backup pair I cannot find anything that will hold a candle to my old wolverine boots. They are leather and semi waterproof.
Looking for new work boots. I like 8in ankle and waterproof just wanted to see if you had any recommendations. Thank for everything 🙏
👍
Yes Sir it's not your weak hand it's your non-dominant hand.
Those channels have clickbait titles and always give us a dire “warning.” They just talk - they don’t show or ‘do.’ I’ve unsubbed from so many channels lately… But we need your info! Your skill is in preparation and defense, and that’s what we need- most of us haven’t ever needed to learn those things, and don’t know how to now.
That means a lot Lori. I’m glad you found this video helpful. Thank you so much!
