It would depend on what your goals are and your financial position, it is definitely not needed but it does nicely target the lats and back as the position really forces you to only pull with the correct muscles.

Oh well - that's the tale of the lifestyle of poor and worthless as the say... Maybe Bill gates could get me one as a freebie - who knows... Maybe the 'federal' government (whats left of it) could pass legislation to provide for preventative health care (state sponsored gyms) where it would be mandatory to reduce the level of obesity in this country (over 45 Million in that category) - it could be subsidized thru Medicare by adding more taxes - it worked that way for car insurance (NO fault) - what a joke) - BUT I digress...
This machine is HEAVY. Just doing reps w/ one 45 on each side is a bitch.
