It's wild how much foreshadowing is in the dialogue. "I'm not jumping into a grave", "be real cop over at the model town", the Kalashnikov. I love this movie.
What i love is at the end angle's professionalism rubbed off on the others and everyone elses wit and banter rubbed off on angle as you can see in the last scene.
ive gone from laughing because of skidmarks, to thinking it's kinda childish, to re-laughing at it because of this detail. i never noticed that it was every time.
One of my favourite films of all time because I laugh all the way through it. A great goto if you're depressed and need a good laugh to take your mind off it lol.
“Did you find anything?” “Yeah…. I was extremely shocked when I looked at my watch and discovered that I should be in the pub”. One of the funniest lines in the film😂😂😂😂
All the officers are shown to be actually capable when the situation presents itself. Fisher is the one to come up with the plan to storm the supermarket after he was previously incompetent at basic policework.
Paddy Constantine was good in this - but in Game of Thrones as Viserys Targaryen he’s shown himself to be one of the best actors currently living. Olivia Coleman too - Simon Pegg really can pick ‘em.
Paddy Considine was a brilliant actor long before Hot Fuzz or Game of Thrones, which is why Edgar Wright asked him to do this (and he turned it down, several times)
I think about 2:52 several times a year it's just such a stupid little thing but it's so funny. I love that actor who's in the ritual and black mirror don't know his name but he's so cute and I remember loving him in this movie and now it's strange seeing him being hilarious after such serious roles. Laughing at skidmarks every time 😂😂
Watched this movie so many times and it’s the first time I’ve heard ‘like something from Backdraft’ at the start of the house explosion aftermath scene.
Is it me or does it seem at 1:45 that Rafe forgot to say “yes they are” at the same time as Paddy and they just over dubbed his voice and CGI’d his mouth?😂
Nothing beats that second look with the beat drop
Agreed 😂
It aged so well lol
Edgar Wright invented the vine thud in 2007 and he also did it best
watched this movie again recentley and totally forgot about that scene. When i saw it, i couldnt breathe lol
"You've got a mustache."
💁♂️ "I know."
So unneedlessly hilarious.
One of my favourite parts lol

Also Aaron A Aaronson.
“Have u ever fired your gun up in the air and gone aaahh!” *fires gun up in the air and goes aaahh
Love the mention of Aaron A Aaronson and then actually meet him later on. 🤣
The entire conversation was foreshadowing... Everything they said is something that happens later on.
The scene with him going off to the side, then coming back, is so iconic and funny I laugh every time.
Completely improvised by Paddy Considine. On the DVD/Blu Ray extras, Edgar Wright talks about it
@@Eradicus If you slow it down, you can see the other Andy break character JUST as he's moving offscreen

The sunglasses in the pouring rain! Legends.
4:39 I love how Andy one is completely dry and Andy two is absolutely wet and trying to smoke
😂 and they have on shades
I still cannot figure out which Andrew threw the trash can.
I love the fact that he laughs EVERY time he hears 'skidmarks'

isnt that the dog growling?
@ it’s right before you hear the dog barking. Like right when the chandelier breaks. You hear an audible roar

funniest line in the entire movie
-- the movie is full of ironic and unironically funny lines, mate!
Paddy Considine is an incredible actor in his own right.
I've only just clocked that it's him because of your comment!
He makes this movie what it is, I reckon.
@@ryanisstuckin93I didn't even realise that it was also him in Worlds End, as one of his drinking buddies because he's so different in it!

He went from detective to king of the 7 kingdoms. Pretty serious promotion

@Brandon Massey lol before you jump into Kalashnikov *mimics gun and fart*
I think the draw and exhale on the cigarette is my fave part, the contempt shown in such a simple movement. Unreal.
That skidmark part is beautiful 🤣🤣
