As a result, Madurai Veeran was subjected to brutal punishment, and his limbs were severed. Witnessing this horrific act, Vellaiyammal, overcome with grief, chose to end her life.
Miraculously, through fervent prayers to Madurai Meenakshi, Madurai Veeran's strength and limbs were restored. His enduring legacy continues to inspire and protect the people of Madurai, celebrating his indomitable spirit and unwavering courage.
