I'm a DIYer, and have just replaced both my regular lights on my '08 Altima with LEDs. No issues. Both the regular light sockets and the driver high beam can be accessed via the fender cover as shown in this video. You have to reach your hand/arm under the aluminum(?) protective bracket that runs horizontal and just below the regular light socket. Reach far back to the right of that light socket about 1' and deep into that cavity at the same horizontal plane as the regular light, and you will feel the high beam socket. Replacement is identical to the regular light socket. Twist old out, twist new in, plug in and done. You will have an issue with the passenger side high beam access, since the windshield washer reservoir is in the way, preventing the same access as on the driver side. I haven't done it yet but there seems to be two options. 1.) Remove the right front wheel and some fender clips (up and over the wheel), and pull it gently back behind where the tire was. I'm not sure if you will have enough access for your arm, but MAYBE; 2.) Remove the whole front fender to remove the washer reservoir, and you will have access. There is a UA-cam video on this I found; search for how to remove '08 Nissan Altima windshield washer reservoir. The reservoir has to go first - 3 socket screws and you can reach up there as on the driver's side. I'm hoping its as simple as removing the tire and access via the fender well, but we'll see. I recommend finding a car clips kit w/different sizes to replace the clips you may have damaged on removal.

@@HelpingHandAutoRepair when I turn my lights on auto my two regular lights aren’t on. The one on top. The bottom light works when on auto! The top light only works when I use it on high beam.
@dahb3zness the low beams should work on auto like normal. That’s correct.
The top lights, which are your high beams will only work when you turn on your high beams. That is also correct and normal.
The auto function on any car will only turn on the low beam lights.
Way don't anybody show replacement for the passenger side of the car
