We don't realise how massive these planes are! Sukhoi never made a single plane that wasn't a concern for the rest of the world. Back in the day when dog fights and aerial warfare was a thing, seeing a Sukhoi coming at you meant you ran out of luck.

In 2019 an Indian Airforce pilot shot down a Pakistani F16 with a 60 year old Mig21 bison. F16s were armed with the BVR aim120, which is formidable with a range of more than 100kms. But still an old Mig21 could sneak in within 10 kms and shoot down the F16 with a WVR R73 missile. But after this incident , It doesn't mean that the F16 is a useless fighter or the Mig21 is the ultimate fighter. So , there are situations and circumstances which are beyond google information. So American hardware might be great, but not undefeatable.

MiG-21s are still to this day, faster than F-16s. Making them good for getting in, dropping the missiles, and getting out. And you're also leaving pilot error in the equation. Could an American pilot have changed that outcome? Most likely. But we do not know. 3. In terms of the Su-57, there's barely any of them. Less than 20. There's 183 F-22s in service while only around 150 are combat capable at any time. It's massively oversized. And I mean MASSIVE. It's nearly twice the size of an F-22. If you understand basic stealth characteristics (Geometry that makes up stealth, not the material coatings) You can see the Su-57, while still stealthier than most 4th gen jets, would still light up a radar at most viewing angles. Specifically from the sides, bottom, top, and rear all because of those massive engine nozzles that are rounded. Round is VERY bad for stealth.. Why do you think the F-22 is so "boxy"? Also, American hardware can indeed, be undefeatable. Still 0 losses of an F-15 to this day lmao... Edit: Forgot to mention that on top of the 180 F-22s, there's around 600 F-35s in U.S. service and over 1,000 total worldwide... so just numbers alone, the Su-57 gets shit on 10 times out of 10.

The mach cone switched direction. You get to hear a sonic boom more than once whenever the mach cone crosses you. It must have been travelling at a high mach number for you to hear the 2nd sonic boom at that vertical climb where the mach cone had much small degree.
