I tried this tutorial and it didnt work its a bad tutorial bever watching your videos again, im a student first time trying the app and im disappointed

I want to buy those brushes but I want to know how you did this effect first. Do you have a video where you are saying what you are doing? I love your videos by the way.
From what I can gather:
Have the image you want to do this effect to. After using the brush, they duplicated the original image (x) many times per crack (where it’s numbered in the beginning), and also added extra layer above those duplicated layers.
Set all the duplicated layers to clipping mask, and on the empty layers, use the lasso tool to select the section, filling it in white
Once ^ is done, they take the original duplicated layers and individually shifted them around to make more of an uneven look to it
Finally, they took another brush to make more shards of glass and just hand drew/edited them as they saw fit. I hope this explanation helps ^^
