You should file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They will investigate their business. Outline the important details and file the complaint. Also you can, if you are in Maryland you can't sue them in small claims court without an attorney. You can speak to your bank, if you have BOA or PNC. They will contact PayPal and dispute it on your behalf. I put my products on Shopify. I haven't had any money issues and my money goes into my account without fail. When I had PayPal hooked up to it they held up payment too. Needless to say, I don't use PayPal
I can't believe this. Paypal did this to me last year with my small business. I haven't found a alternative for my payment partner and it's disgusting that they treat people like this.
Any financial institution has to complete an SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) for any transaction over $10,000, or a cluster of transactions that appear to be trying to subvert reporting it. It's a Federal government thing for money laundering and terrorism, and everyone from Paypal to Western Union has to do it. As for delivery being an issue, it may be a scam-prevention protecting your wholesaler.
I’ve had my pp accounts under review and was required to update all those docs as well. I once had money held for 21 days through pp before they released it to my account. Totally understand your frustration. I use cash app and Zelle as other pay options, but they are getting weird too. My pay accounts are business accounts and I have a registered LLC. These companies are making it harder for small businesses to succeed.
I think it is SO important to spread awareness of the ugly side of having a small business. I had a similar experience with paypal for a transaction of only $200! But I was a stay at home mom at the time (just had a baby) and was doing some crafting as a side gig around the holidays and paypal held that money for over 30 days... After that one incident, it gave me bad vibes instantly and I dropped them asap. So sorry you had to experience this! P.S. I know this is an old video but I just found your channel and I am currently binging all of your content lol
I only use PayPal for small transactions, orders over $500 I do money order, bank transfer or check to business account PERIOD! Never put yourself at the mercy of someone else to get paid! You handled yourself very well! That has worked for me for the last 8 years and I still do it to this day. For large orders consider doing deposit up front first, then remaining amount be paid before being shipped out. That way you have some capital to create/process the order ❤️ I’m glad everything was resolved!

I am so very angry for you. I live in Minnesota and have an excellent Attorney Genera's office. Not sure about your state, but I would contact them and ask for guidance. Sometimes just my telling a company that I plan to contact our AG's office gets quick results! Also, it could possibly trigger an investigation. There may also be help at the Federal level.
Paypal wants to help your small business stay small. The minute my business started to take off, they made sure it was ground to a halt. I’m sure these things don’t happen with the large businesses and I’m sure that’s not an accident.

This was very informative. I saw fraud on my account with PayPal so I closed it. Unfortunately when I went to sign up for Venmo I found out that they are owned by PayPal… needless to say I have not done any transactions on there nor do I plan to. I am so thankful that you got your money back minus the $45 that’s pending😇!

If you haven’t already, try talking to your bank to see if there is an alternative way to accept payments that they provide.. sometimes the cost is a little less and the funds are available sooner.

I have wanted to purchase items from sellers but they only use paypal or go through paypal and that stops me in my tracks. I just don’t support them and how they operate. PayPal is garbage. They made a mistake on my account but refused to correct it. The person I spoke with could see the mistake and acknowledged it but they wouldn't correct it. I waited a week for them to tell me they wouldn't correct it. I immediately stopped dealing with them. Always have multiple ways to process payments.
I had a similar issue last year with much smaller dollar amount, and shortly after that I saw many people posting problems with both personal and business accounts. I stopped using it for business and I just closed the account. I lost all confidence in them. So far no issues with Venmo....

I just use one of my credit cards or my bank debit card to avoid that. Many ppl ik are now using $Cashapp money app. I dont have an acct there. But THIS mess here makes me wanna close my Paypal acct with them! I barely use it anyways. The way u handled the situation would so have been me. That cranky supervisor should be terminated on sight!🤬 Ive never used Zelle on my bank app. May look into it. Idk what ppl are thinking, handling business like that! PayPal has very strict “Underwriting” guidelines. The underwriting department is not accessible to the public. Before accepting payments always due your due diligence to learn he the underwriting guidelines with any financial institution folks. Sorry for your horrible experience.😢 The financial industry can lack of empathy based on liabilities unfortunately

Mercari got me for $550 when I needed it to pay half my rent. When it was in beta, no money apps though. I don't play about my $ & I certainly would play about 10 Racks 😆🤷🏼♀️

Paypal keeps blocking my Ip, wtf, they are a problem now, im so sorry you went through this nonsense with PayPal
What pay system do you use now? If you switch to a merchant account it will bypass these 3rd party procesors like PayPal and go straight to your bank
