Yep, as a kid I remember doing lots of crafts and other activities to learn about the US, my home state of Oklahoma, and my hometown. So drawing US flags or coloring Oklahoma flags, learning mottos, state song, national anthem, doing “land runs” on the school playground, etc. Btw: I live in an area that is where those Canadian geese migrate to every winter, though some stay here year round (probably because people feed them). They’ll also run you off the sidewalks in the park if they’re on them. The geese will sometimes chase you, but I haven’t seen them ever bite anyone like the swans have. And the geese put up with toddlers and are gentle with them like the ducks are with them. In fact they seem to know to mimic the ducks behaviors because that results in being given more food by people....something the bully swans haven’t learned yet. Government Springs Park is the main place the geese like to hang out while the ducks usually are at the city’s water works and with the swans at Meadowlake Park. They’re certainly not afraid of fireworks and they seem to know to all congregate at Meadowlake Park around the time of year that 4th of July celebrations happen as that’s where my hometown has its main celebrations. That beaver story is perhaps the best piece of literature in the world.
Hey JJ! I’m from Quebec and nearly every Quebecker I know likes you! Also you videos are super cool and awesome!
Love all the little references to the early stuff. Been watching since you posted gay by gay to reddit, heres to the next 100k!
JJ is unironically a fantastic cartoonist.
Good Job! I am canadian as well and I love your videos lol You crack me up... lol
Who else can see the old Union Jack Canadian flag in JJ's background?
That outro music is good. Keep it up JJ 👍🏼
I lost it at ‘we have to rely on wives with soapstone carvings to defend our nation’s leader’
Where did you have it last? It's probably still there.

Who dat? I guess I’m not a true JJ completionist because I must have missed something.
i think its his sister
Angela Melick, a friend of JJ's who used to write an autobiographic webcomic called Wasted Talent. www.wastedtalent.ca
@@ewantaylor2758 Oh fuck! I used to read that all the time.
@haxaa2076, No she's from JJ's first video
Great video! I actually did nearly all your activities: similar arts and crafts, music etc. when I was in school. All except, I did not do a school assignment of going outside to watch geese fly south as a child. I have watched them fly in V formation as an adult.
Congrats on your many subscribers. I am am fairly new to your channel. I am learning a lot and being entertained at the same time.
Awesome to see you and Adam in a video together again! You should bring back Gay x Gay!
I loved watching you carve and chat w a friend. It felt less like watching you give a speech and more like being a fly on the wall. Very fun!
The segment one geese was so accurate, and scary. Also nice to see that park and science world.
I have Been here scene the beginning and i am very humble to know that you are going to be passing 100,000 Subscribers. Congratulations 🎈🎈!!!!!!!!
JJ: Alright my fans are called CONSERVATIVES
Me, A Warren Supporter: 👌
Chase Fenske same here I’m a progressive but I love his channel
Yaz 100%
I'm Green Party but I wish all Conservatives were as sensible as he was
I think many countries' conservative parties are more similar to the Dems than the Reps.
I like Bernie Sanders. Seems like the 21st century version of Tommy Douglas.
I’m not letting my students look up beavers on the Internet
there is something oddly enjoyable about watching a grown man do children's arts and crafts.
What a fun video! Loved the beaver diorama & story--
I see what you did with the MAPLE leaf rag
You seemed to have so much fun making this video
And I'm happy for you
It was good to see Adam again. Does he have a UA-cam channel?
one of my fav J.J. vids! I love that we get to see J.J.'s friends in this! I wish he'd make more vids with friends in them
I remember learning O Canada and Ode to Newfoundland simultaneously in first grade which was quite difficult 😂
