I've been loving the evolution of commentated runs the past few years in general and how they've been getting increasingly popular, and now that Elden Ring has more focus with super fun events like Bingo Brawlers I can only imagine it'll get better from here. The only thing I would suggest as a "criticism" (if you could even call it that) is that I'm sure this kind of thing would be even more fun with more impartial commentators, but I understand we're working with baby steps at first. Keep up the great work! :D
They could do a tested randomizer seed, or they could do side quests that discount time from their final timer like bingo objectives or short fetch quests, so even if someone finished first they may still not be the winner bc of time bonus

@@matthewb7788 I get the idea of handicapping the lead so that the competition is closer, but having the handicap be decided by him choosing to spin the wheel makes it feel forced
You can't do the spins on a timer or the players will game the system and stall right before the wheel spin, making sure they aren't in a fight or smth.
@maphz9252 I can at least confirm BHF was definitely only +4, if you go to the 10:53 timestamp, too lazy to dig through for a clip showing icerind hatchet though.
Some general criticisms regarding the rules and how it was implemented. 1) Don't spin the wheel arbitrarily. Have a fixed timer or a fixed condition. You also don't need to spin for everyone all the time. It can be for just one person depending on the situation. Of course, don't pick and bully one person as a result. 2) Rewards follow punishment. Allows players to take on extra challenge to get a greater reward. For example "Kill next target with a +0 dagger to get -X seconds off your timer". Of course, have a reasonable challenge so players are tempted to take it. Don't put something ridiculous like "Bare fist only" because that just wastes everyone's time. 3) Avoid time wastes. Punishments involving "Wait x minutes" is boring. Instead add side objectives for those who fail a condition like killing a mini boss. (There are 165 bosses in the game any way) 4) Avoid general and permanent removal of all gear or main armaments. Punishments like "No more armor for the rest of the game" is boring. A better alternative is "Must be at a specific equip load number until a mini boss is defeated" like 15-16 / 30 weight or "Must use gear found in X area". This can bring interesting or funny fashion as players try to match the exact number. Of course, give a tiny bit of wiggle room in the required weight, otherwise it might just waste time or be impossible. Also, instead of "Discard your main weapon permanently", try "Beat X mini bosses or do X challenge to be able to use your main weapon" or "Change main weapon or do next boss with inverted camera and no lock on" 5) Expand. Don't restrict. The game is huge with a lot of stuff in it. Might as well make use of all that is available, like consumables, shops, npc quests, areas, etc. Add those into challenges. Instead of randomly killing an NPC, get players to progress their quest by one stage. Much more interesting than just killing them. 6) Give players some hints about the challenges that they will face so that they don't go killing an NPC or boss early. This could give rise to more interesting routes through the game. Especially important for anyone who has played or watched a lot of the game since everyone would have already seen the two or three optimal routes multiple times already.
I know I'm late but I disagree on 4, I think it's pretty funny to see them delete their most used weapon. I do agree removing armor till the end is a bit too much tho. Really fun challenge nonetherless
I quite enjoyed this style of race run. In the future, I think it would be helpful to have a larger pool of wheel outcomes at the start. Additionally, it would be nice to see a larger variety of potential side objectives ex. needing to go kill specific bosses or reach specific stat requirements. This would force the contestants to go further out of their way in pursuit of the objective instead of the wheel spins being a 2-minute sidetrack. This would also potentially reward or penalize certain contestants for the route they've taken thus far. Further, and perhaps more radically, it might be interesting to have the ultimate objective remain a mystery for a while. This could be accomplished by having certain precursor objectives that the contestants would have to complete before finding out what the end goal is. This could be formatted in various ways, whether that be telling everyone once one person completes a stage what the next is so they can plan accordingly or only telling each person once they've completed each section. I feel that this, combined with a larger variety and more laborious side objectives, would make for a more interesting race over all. Either way, this was very fun to watch, and anything in this vein in the future will also be good.
Thanks for the feedback :) I've thought about the hiding the objective throughout the run/most of the run thing, but I like the idea more of the players thinking they're getting closer and closer to the goal, only to be thwarted with some sort of obstacle (the wheel spins). I might try the hidden objective the whole time at some point, but definitely needs a good amount more planning than normal to make sure it's a close enough race all around and interesting to watch
The only real feedback I have for this is it needs to be on a schedule. There where times where you would jump the gun on the wheel spins to impede a specific person's progress to extend the run and that takes away from the challenge. 100% aggys idea of using sub goals for the wheel spins would be interesting
I say subs and milestones, like first to Margret, first to second phase godrick, last to kill godrick, whenever someone tiggers second phase of the race boss, and stuff. Tho maybe have less disruptive wheels for that last one.
If you do this again you should have a minigame where they have to impersonate various elden ring characters. It would be very entertaining if they had to stop what they were doing and say "TOGETHAAAAR WE SHALL DEVOUR THE VERY GODS!"
“Use keyboard and mouse until the next spin” made my brain itch because sometimes I forget how insane I look for playing all these games on KBM by default lmao
It's really just personal preference, once you rebind the keybinds to something comfortable, KBM is totally fine. A good amount of the top speedrunners use KBM as well
Super fun! I'd just like to say that spinning the wheel at set times + having more choices would be great. It isn't as fun to watch when it feels unfair and arbitrary, and the timed wheel spins might help with that. Also the mini games were a great touch, so fun and funny. Would love to see this again!
You're a great commentator because of all your experience/knowledge with Elden Ring. Would love to see more videos where you're a commentator for contests like this. Love your content, keep it up!
I usually don't pay attention to the floods of UA-cam challenge videos anymore but your vids always have that little something extra to keep it engaging. Would love to see the channel grow
Thanks for the kind words :) I try to keep my runs interesting/unique rather than tedious or easy/clickbait, some videos/runs are gonna be better than others though lol
LOVE this concept please do more of these with more wheel options. I really think this could be a big thing adaptable for other games and run types too. I think it definitely breathes new life into the challenge run sphere of content
Yeah definitely something I had in mind when coming up with the idea is it potentially growing big enough to branch into other games and whatnot, but for the first few it's probably just gonna be Elden Ring
Strings attached logo goes hard, I would add more mini games and make the wheel have a larger number of different challenges, also possibly make it to where there is a timer that sets off the wheel
It's really just personal preference, but I knew all the contestants play on controller normally, so this was more of a "use a new control scheme" rather than specifically a "punishment" for KBM
I watched this live on Aggy’s stream and it was *so much fun*! I’d love to see more events like this! Chris being the host is great because you can tell he’s gleeful about other people’s dismay 😆 (in-game!!)
Watching this after the first proper Strings Attached is wild, it's like an ancient unfinished version of a game that a later game was based on. Excellent idea for an ER challenge game, excited to see later versions involving the DLC.
As bad as that was, it honestly could have been way worse. I'm not sure how exactly, but maybe something like, say... purely spitballing here... Abruptly banning all somber weapons at the last moment before the match starts, including Serpent Hunter, then pitting everyone against an endgame-scaled Fortissax with Rykard as its second phase, in a cluttered boss arena that guarantees frequent glitches and forced resets, thus causing the last ~45 minutes of the "speedrun" match to be all the runners bashing their heads against the same boss until one of them randomly succeeds.
that was fun to watch. taking it out of the game is interesting. Switching to KBM was hilarious. I will say that deliberately sabotaging the leaders seems a little mean. Some ideas: 1) when you mandate a change, instead of setting a time limit, you should let them race - so if you say "take off your armor", the second person has to stand still for 30 seconds after taking it off, the third for 60 seconds, fourth for 90 seconds. Every penalty should be tied to wheel spins, so once the wheel spins again, you can wear your armor again. Because the people who are skilled at no-hit are going to have a significant advantage late in the game with tough bosses. other wheel spins ideas: 1) race to acquire 100 bolts (or erdleaf flowers, golden rune(1)s, thin beast bones, etc) 2) find a common household item and show it on camera (corkscrew,or roll of toilet paper, etc). 3) switch to a different boss objective 4) Karaoke a popular song (of your choice). 5) Turn off the game sound 6) Hold a pose on camera the longest (so not 3 seconds, but as long as you can stand it) 7) Sorceries or incantations only until the next wheel spin 8) No Torrent until next wheel spin. 9) Allow your character to be killed by a book 10) Fight a boss without looking at the screen 11) Create a 4 page presentation for why star0chris is the best. 12) go put on a hat 13) start a new character and get their stats to the same as your current character's stats (ignoring talismans & armor effects). Another idea - instead of having a particular end goal in mine and time penalties, award points for the order of achievement of every wheel task - perhaps 4 points for the first person to complete (or the person who endures the longest) down to 1 point for the 4th place finisher. In this model, once the wheel runs out of tasks, whoever has the most points wins. the later wheel spins might have higher point values, so you can keep it exciting even if one person is way ahead.
Ideas for wheel spins : Spin the starting class, a couple of Elden Ring lore/speedrun trivia minigames, sit at a specific grace and race onfoot to a designated location like an item or something that can be verified, must Jojo pose after each bosses or they get penalized, no roll for x minutes but they can use quickstep/bloodhound step, put x mobs/npcs to sleep, kick Kenneth Haight to his death and loot the golden seed before teabagging 5 times, consumable only for x minutes, must exceed 70% (or 100%) equip load for x minutes (if the player can't he has to stop what he's doing and find items to increase his equip load), acquire 99 arrows or bolts within x minutes, no warping/opening the map for x minutes, bow only for x minutes, rebirth your character/rename your character Star0chrisfan.
Really fun idea and fun to watch, only problem i can see is that wheel is being spun when someone gets close to killing it thus pretty much equalizing everyone, wheel should spun every 5 min or so to make it more fair but the players should not know about it sometimes every 4 min, sometimes 6, sometimes back to back idk it should be a thing that is predecided, maybe even have a timeline for when is the next wheel spin is going to be for chat to track. Also there could be a lot more on the wheel but i guess that will come with time this is only the first.
You could do something similar on the wheels where you have them collect 3 different items, a consumable, an equipment(non-farmable weapons only), and a key item, it would be interesting
I think the minigames were the most interesting. Everyone already does stipulation runs but the minigames added a unique element and were fricken hilarious
It would be humorous to make it chat interactive, pay $1 and they can inconvenience a particular streamer or just everyone at once. I'd say leave the inconvenience to wheel spins, but they could pick the person
Well that's a fun vid! Could use as little brainpower as possible and just call the event "Ring of Fortune" or rather "Ring of Misfortune". Big issue from what it looked like is the diminishing variety, like you didn't have any options at some point. To combat that you could make a list for each sector and roll twice - once for main sector and second for the corresponding "misfortune" on the list. Maybe go whole 9 yards and stylize the wheel to look like Elden Ring with sectors being the Great Runes, and for each Great Rune make a list of themed misfortunes, like: - "Rykard swallowed your weapon - discard your current weapon" - "Radahn crushed your armor - discard your armor" - "Mogh wants blood - find a source of bleed and survive its damage" - "Morgott wants you to punish foolish tarnished - kill "name" NPC" - "Moon Mommy wants a hand-made present - craft "name" item within time limit" - "Godrick wants your runes - use the memory of grace (if Runes are dropped after death - must pick them up first)" - "Malenia wants to be reminded of her dear brother - you're smoll now like Miquella, you can't use horse and must move crouched for X minutes" ETC.
I love the idea of this, definitely need more things on the wheel from the start. Is there some way to hook it into crowd control so the MC could influence all their games at once? Just bam, upside down camera, double speed enemies, other shenanigans.
This could be a fun series. Call it Cutthroat Speedrun or something like that. Let the winner of the mini games be able to select a punishment from a list prepared ahead of time or something
this was real good need more of this, The minigames are a fun idea you could do the elden ring geoguessr and maybe the winner of the some of the wheel spin challenges gets to impose a disadvantage to the person thats currently in the lead for some kind of catch up mechanic and then if the guy who is in the lead wins one of the challenges he gets some kind of advantage something like that. You could also do these disadvanteges and advantages on there own wheel spins. Either way this is nice big thumbs up
I think this is a really fun concept, but think it would work better if the wheel spins at a fixed interval (like once every 10minutes). This way people can also make a tactical descision of when to start a fight, plus having a faster early game holds more meaning.
Would love to see more fun tournaments like this in the future! Some things that I think could help would be: - Speaking more to the players during their runs, like openly commenting to the discord, not just chat, when they finish the different tasks like, "Dom finished killing Rick first, and Aggy looks like he's going to be next." or "Thank you all for successfully slaying Boc the seamster!" - And throwing in secret achievements the players can accomplish without knowing like the Bonus Stars in Mario Party, where you watch things like who got the most runes (which you might wanna keep to just a rough estimate lol), who's weapons were the lowest level (which can be checked after the run), or who won the most mini games. The rewards could be increments of time taken off their runs at the end. Overall, I think the run was extremely fun to watch, and I can't wait to see more! (Also, having the players fight in the colosseum for one of the mini games might be fun as well :) )
This was a really great idea and definitely has potential to catch on as a series but I think a more defined rule set and some more planning before hand would make this more entertaining to watch. This felt a bit more like watching you enjoy a power trip than an actual competitive challenge. Great video though.
I know part of the fun was trolling the racers but this idea could also be cool with a little more structure, like the wheel always gets spun every x minutes. Maybe rewards / penalties for minigames could be a second wheel lmao. Lots of potential with this idea
You should do a race where the goal is a mystery. Preferably something not too late game, so when someone wins it'll be a surprise. Something random too Like kill Varre or something
I think a fun idea could be a Jeopardy style game show. Could either include various From Soft titles or keep it game specific. Then break down questions into topics like speedrunning knowledge, lore, geography, game mechanics, and maybe like enemy design. Like how well do you actually know Elden Ring/Souls for the time put into it. Keep up the good work too ^^
Zoodle has done similar shows like that before, I definitely recommend checking out his content. I'm not really interesting in running a pure Jeopardy type of show though
Yeah I plan to have a timer with a random length between 5 to 10 minutes. I don't want the players to know when it will happen as they could then play around it, and it's more fun to just have it be sprung on them out of nowhere
I have a funny idea: ask EVERYONE to keep this savefile and use it to beat some random DLC boss from there(after a while from it's release ofc), and then ask them to unequip everything
Have a randomizer race with the objective being to beat soldier of godrick, with wheel spins. Here all all the spins I could come up with and if any of them straight up cant be done, then you can skip them. Because if somehow nobody can 1st try a boss AND they have no items, then it wouldn't be doable to discard your loadout. Also any fun cheese or skips like turning down your FOV to be super low so you dont see any enemies or whatnot, its allowed. No glitches or cheating though, that would be mega super ultra stupid. Godrick required Godefroy required Drop all items (once you drop more than the maximum limit you will need to pick them up and then drop items you haven't until you dropped all of them.) Drop all weapons Drop main weapon Drop armor Drop talismans Invert camera controls Discard all items (Not great runes/rememberances or comet azur) Discard all weapons Discard main weapon Discard armor Discard talismans Play with K a M Use Memory of Grace Drawing contest for Soldier of Godrick Kill yourself 1st try next boss or wait until somebody else does. (if you fail you have to sit and wait until another person can do it. If all of you fail, discard your current loadout) Bind jump to roll and roll to jump (use default Mouse and Keyboard controls) Kill Mohg with his own weapon/spell Kill Renalla with comet azur Dump the next 30 levels into faith. Respec ALL levels into strength (if 99 strength, go into endurance) Set camera sensitivity to max Use fists for the next 3 minutes Use fist weapons for the next 3 minutes (cannot attack until you find one) Do a colloseum match, whoever wins it gets 2 minutes of bonus time. Simon Says (everybody must obey Simon and do as he says, if they fail they discard their main weapon) Elden Ring Trivia No torrent until next spin No crimson tears until next spin Kill all enemies in vision until next spin (if you don't see it, you dont need to kill it) Use Mouse and Keyboard and set all main controls to your number keys until next spin. (any key with a number works) Find glass shards. Find a ruin fragment and throw it at a boss, if you miss you have to discard your best/main weapon. No cerulean tears until next spin. No torrent for the rest of the race No crimson tears for the rest of the race. Put on your heaviest armor Use what you pick up until next spin Restart your game (close and reopen it) Perform the erudation emote succesfully during any boss fight. Take 0 damage from an enemy (without blocking) Kill maliketh with destined death weapons or spells. Kill elden beast with a holy attack (not holy damage) Insta kill your next boss encounter. Kill Iji Kill any friendly NPC Look at Ranni's books (she is short) Complete Ranni's questline (until another questline) Complete Fia's questline (until another questline) Complete Dung Eaters questline (until another questline) Eat 10 pounds of shrimp Eat 10 pounds of crab Spin 2 more times Spin 3 more times Spin 4 more times Spin 5 more times Collect every emote (you cannot finish your race until you collect every emote) Help thops create thops barrier (very nice of you to do) Collect all 7 great runes (Until next great rune related spin) Collect 6 great runes Throw literal doodoo in a pot at Sewer Mohg Throw a rot pot at malenia Collect 5 great runes Kill an enemy in one hit Do 10 jumping jacks Do 10 push ups Do 10 squats Eat beans on toast Ignore the next 2 spins Ignore the Ignore next 2 spines. I am not demented I swear, im a good guy.
Rather than fighting Margit and Godrick, I would've just used the secret passage under the bridge next to Stormveil castle to get to Liurnia Lake. After getting the Glinstone Key behind the sleeping dragon, I'll then use the Abductor Virgin in Raya Lucaria to travel to the Volcano Manor. Parkour the Manor and make my way to the Altus Plateau. That will trigger the Radahn Festival. Fast travel back to Limgrave and used the trap chest at the Dragon-Burnt Ruins to teleport to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel in Caelid. Travel to Redmane Castle by horse and cheese Radahn with infinite summon and water death to get my first great rune. Enter the round table and meet the Two Fingers to trigger Varre's questline. Go back to Lunaria where Varre is. Use the festering fingers to invade. Then soak the Lord of Blood's Favor with Vyke's Maiden at the Church of Inhibition. Give it to Varre to get the Pure Blood Knight's Medal. Use it to teleport to Mogh's Palace. Go to fight Mogh once and die instantly by jumping off cliff. Then fast travel to the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance site of grace and platform my way to the infinite rune spot. Jump off the map while keep attacking and it will instantly kill Mogh when you reach the fall out point. GG.

Yeah I wanted them to all suffer equally, but Domo just outplayed me twice lmao
3:53 love that this is a challenge, I’ve played each fromsoft game with KBM besides Bloodborne
same
Same
“Use keyboard and mouse until the next spin” made my brain itch because sometimes I forget how insane I look for playing all these games on KBM by default lmao
It's really just personal preference, once you rebind the keybinds to something comfortable, KBM is totally fine. A good amount of the top speedrunners use KBM as well
This is a great idea! Would love to see more of this! Maybe have viewer voted things on the wheel?
Chris not participating just so he can give aggy a chance to win what a nice friend :)
One of the minigames should be Elden Ring trivia. That could be fun.
This is like a Magic the Noah game in Elden Ring.
Thank you for making the objective on the thumbnail just as square blurred as that, cuz its easy to read "Defeat Mogh" on it pretty well
LOVE this concept please do more of these with more wheel options.
This was great! Love the torture, i aspire to become just as annoying to my friends
I always feel like Chris and Aggy are battling for Dom's soul, but they alternate the roles of good/bad shoulder spirit. It's fun.
Fun video! The minigames were a great brain reset for everyone, would love to see future videos like this.
I was hoping for chris to say to the first person who kills Mogh: "sorry, thats the wrong one."
Love the concept man, it's silly and fun !
Not me having 700 hours in ER with MNK, didnt realize it was looked down on hahahah
Love that one of the wheel challenges was using mouse and keyboard, but thats just how I play Elden Ring lol
Banger as usual. Can't wait for your rykard impression
After watching this I’m convinced Chris is a demon of pure chaos who was sent here to cause mischief and strife
Watching this after the first proper Strings Attached is wild, it's like an ancient unfinished version of a game that a later game was based on. Excellent idea for an ER challenge game, excited to see later versions involving the DLC.
This is peak content! Please do this again Chris!
Dude Please make the Musik louder I can almost understand what you are saying....
Doesn't sounds too bad, just use bleed/rot :)
Good practice for all those late game Mohg bingo squares.
This was really fun. Doing a similar thing with a rando race added on could be cool
This is a brilliant idea and was an entertaining watch. I look forward to seeing the concept grow and potentially expand to other fromsoft games too
that was fun to watch. taking it out of the game is interesting.
Yeah I plan to have more standardization on the wheel and plenty more (and more interesting) wheel spins for the next one
You could do something similar on the wheels where you have them collect 3 different items, a consumable, an equipment(non-farmable weapons only), and a key item, it would be interesting
Would have been fun to see the chaos of telling them it was the other Mohg when Aggy killed the normal Mohg
With a few more challenges on the wheel I could see this being a lot more popular when it comes to Elden ring races
I think the minigames were the most interesting. Everyone already does stipulation runs but the minigames added a unique element and were fricken hilarious
Yeah definitely going to lean into the minigames more for future races, got some fun ideas cooked up
It would be humorous to make it chat interactive, pay $1 and they can inconvenience a particular streamer or just everyone at once. I'd say leave the inconvenience to wheel spins, but they could pick the person
you must now go get a sombre 7 or a 10 minute penalty
Well that's a fun vid!
Could use as little brainpower as possible and just call the event "Ring of Fortune" or rather "Ring of Misfortune".
Big issue from what it looked like is the diminishing variety, like you didn't have any options at some point. To combat that you could make a list for each sector and roll twice - once for main sector and second for the corresponding "misfortune" on the list.
Maybe go whole 9 yards and stylize the wheel to look like Elden Ring with sectors being the Great Runes, and for each Great Rune make a list of themed misfortunes, like:
- "Rykard swallowed your weapon - discard your current weapon"
- "Radahn crushed your armor - discard your armor"
- "Mogh wants blood - find a source of bleed and survive its damage"
- "Morgott wants you to punish foolish tarnished - kill "name" NPC"
- "Moon Mommy wants a hand-made present - craft "name" item within time limit"
- "Godrick wants your runes - use the memory of grace (if Runes are dropped after death - must pick them up first)"
- "Malenia wants to be reminded of her dear brother - you're smoll now like Miquella, you can't use horse and must move crouched for X minutes"
ETC.
Love this idea. Do more of these
The first 'strings attached' without any strings attached
more of this please
Amazing video , had a blast watching this one , really love the group stuff
you should make a big tournament for this but actually have a mod that changes their games for them like the gta chaos mod
"You have to use keyboard and mouse until next spin"
me having played all of the souls games only with kbm
Can't believe Chris is joining the torture youtubers (Valefisk and Magic the Noah). This was great!
Everybody starting as samouraï got me like: "Balanced class 🤓" lmao
I had the idea of a play through where every enemy is the mimic tear, so in essence every enemy is you. Perhaps it could be a neat idea.
Peak content!
I got thrown off by the DK jungle theme 😂
Straight into wii sports wth
I love the idea of this, definitely need more things on the wheel from the start. Is there some way to hook it into crowd control so the MC could influence all their games at once? Just bam, upside down camera, double speed enemies, other shenanigans.
This could be a fun series. Call it Cutthroat Speedrun or something like that. Let the winner of the mini games be able to select a punishment from a list prepared ahead of time or something
Messing with them just makes it so much fun
This is such a fun and wholesome race. Especially the (oldschool) Nintendo music ❤
this was real good need more of this, The minigames are a fun idea you could do the elden ring geoguessr and maybe the winner of the some of the wheel spin challenges gets to impose a disadvantage to the person thats currently in the lead for some kind of catch up mechanic and then if the guy who is in the lead wins one of the challenges he gets some kind of advantage something like that.
More of this please. Immensely entertaining.
I'd pay to watch a whole season of this
This has been so fun to watch. I’d love to see it more.
Would love to see more fun tournaments like this in the future! Some things that I think could help would be:
- Speaking more to the players during their runs, like openly commenting to the discord, not just chat, when they finish the different tasks like, "Dom finished killing Rick first, and Aggy looks like he's going to be next." or "Thank you all for successfully slaying Boc the seamster!"
- And throwing in secret achievements the players can accomplish without knowing like the Bonus Stars in Mario Party, where you watch things like who got the most runes (which you might wanna keep to just a rough estimate lol), who's weapons were the lowest level (which can be checked after the run), or who won the most mini games. The rewards could be increments of time taken off their runs at the end.
Overall, I think the run was extremely fun to watch, and I can't wait to see more! (Also, having the players fight in the colosseum for one of the mini games might be fun as well :) )
Great feedback, thanks :) and yeah I've thought about some of the secret type stuff already, but not gonna say exactly what as to keep it a secret lol
Just and idea for "Minigames" would be to start a new character and go do some early game objective like Kill Tree Sentinel or Kill Rick etc.
This was a really great idea and definitely has potential to catch on as a series but I think a more defined rule set and some more planning before hand would make this more entertaining to watch. This felt a bit more like watching you enjoy a power trip than an actual competitive challenge. Great video though.
Very much agree yeah, next time will have more structure for sure, especially with when the wheel is spun
I know part of the fun was trolling the racers but this idea could also be cool with a little more structure, like the wheel always gets spun every x minutes. Maybe rewards / penalties for minigames could be a second wheel lmao. Lots of potential with this idea
I remember watching this live and it was fun as hell. Great idea, would love to see more competitive runs like this!
When was that? I can’t find the vod on twitch :((
@@niepowiemjaksienazywam1972 a few weeks ago I think. No idea when exactly.
10/10 concept, keep them coming!
This was amazing, maybe my favorite video on the channel so far!
You should do a race where the goal is a mystery. Preferably something not too late game, so when someone wins it'll be a surprise. Something random too Like kill Varre or something
This needs to be a weekly thing
Omg, I wanted amazing chests to do a mohg speed run, and here you're saving me, thank you chris.
If its possible to have a sinchronised timer that clocks down to the next spin for everyone, ohh the dread inducing potential.
Yeah I plan to have a timer with a random length between 5 to 10 minutes. I don't want the players to know when it will happen as they could then play around it, and it's more fun to just have it be sprung on them out of nowhere
bro is REACHING calling greases not a buff, he wanted it BAD 😭😭
The “for the rest of the run” bits should be “for the next x amount of spins” or “the next x amount of minutes”
This was a riot to watch live
I have a funny idea: ask EVERYONE to keep this savefile and use it to beat some random DLC boss from there(after a while from it's release ofc), and then ask them to unequip everything
This was fun to watch lol
Have a randomizer race with the objective being to beat soldier of godrick, with wheel spins. Here all all the spins I could come up with and if any of them straight up cant be done, then you can skip them. Because if somehow nobody can 1st try a boss AND they have no items, then it wouldn't be doable to discard your loadout. Also any fun cheese or skips like turning down your FOV to be super low so you dont see any enemies or whatnot, its allowed. No glitches or cheating though, that would be mega super ultra stupid.
Godrick required
Godefroy required

I am not demented I swear, im a good guy.
4:20 wait i was thinking the normal was playing in the keyboard
More stuff on the wheel, more minugames, maybe change to a random weapon or invade someone. Random armor, buffs, no healing etc
GG.
This is a great video idea! Would love to see more of this.
Do more of those chris 🙂
This was actually super fun to watch!
wheel spin: has to buy and use the Caestus from Gostoc until the next spin (no changing AOW)
I feel called out. MnK is a punishment, but that's just how I usually play :(
