Tune it to Rock!! And watch how you gap those cars! You wanna add power???? Tune it properly!!!

Roll racing is not the type R’s strength, when you get this on track though it will be a different story. Great video as always, keep going as the UA-cam algorithm is just cold blooded.
I find that almost anything besides the OEM Honda MTF (75W gear oil/MTF?, 10w-30 oil visocity), will stand up to hard, aggressive driving, especially when you change the gear oil/MTF earlier than normal. I personally change my gear oil with every engine oil change, as I tend to drive pretty hard. Honda and Acura manual gearboxes/trans only like API GL-4 75w-80 gear oil/manual transmission fluid. I’m not sure how people get away running 75w90 GL-5 and even GL-6 fluids! Other non-Synchromesh fomulas contain additives and chemicals like sulphur, which wear down yellow metal components (brass synchronizer rings). Aside from that, it can cause lockouts at higher temps or even grinding and crunching at dead cold starts. I’m currently running a blend of Triax 75w80 gear oil (2 qts), and AC Delco (GM) Synchromesh friction modified MTF (75w80 gear oil) [1 qt]. I even have some additives, like Prolong’s non-particulant ‘Transmission Treatment’, but it seems like a “snake oil” product that’s probably some sort of slicker full synthetic 75w90 gear oil or something.

I love the old Rx-7 Gxl's (or U) dude.. I had a friend who had a white manual one with a slightly bigger turbo on it in 1999 and crazy lowered. We thought it was pretty quick. But the biggest takeaway was that the car was as light as a feather, actually felt like a go-kart, and rode like one(sitting on its dampers). Probably the lightest sporty car I've ever driven. Dont scratch your head like that bruh!! JK.

I’ve had similar experiences with 5 liter ponies, only running bolt ons with off the shelf Hondata tunes. Flex fuel analyzer is next, then I’ll have to decide between redline and phereable
If muscle is what you’re looking for I’d argue to say a base C6 with the LS3 will be more fun than a C5 Z06 but that’s just my take. If you want that same power train but 4 doors get a Pontiac G8 😉

I sold mine for good reasons to get my wife her new trail sport . Which I did but I settled for a trd Camry and it is nothing like the typeR it’s honestly made me depressed. So in July I’m gonna trade it in for either a sonic grey fk8 or a new fl5 and I’m so excited .

Man if you could shift alittle faster or use some flat foot shifting you'd be fine. In gear you are neck and neck until you shift and I hear all your boost disappear haha

Flex fuel for the CTRs go from 355hp to around 390-400, noticeable difference for sure.

They’re Mugen mirrors. Blue tint so they reduce glare, hydrophobic so they repel water very well, and integrated turn signals in the glass itself
