I've been using a glass file for my nails for years and I love it so much compared to the sanding stick like files. Might be worth trying a cheap glass file from clicks or something as a comparison, but they tend not to have a specific grit
Thanks for that. Yes you can totally use glass files from clicks etc. But on my experience I have found them to clog quickly and to lose thier edge. But I do love the gunprimer Raser. It's really awesome.

@GUNPLASA the Canadian hobby market for gunpla is terrible for sourcing. A lot of the people running the stores are too busy living their passion to keep the kind of online storefront many customers would like, and it makes sourcing tools, kits, markers and paints, really anything gunpla specific quite difficult. A lot of the market runs on word of mouth, so if you aren't socially active, or live in a remote area, it can be a nightmare

It's smart to sand in 1 direction. I prefer to use the Raser glass file too lately following up with the Raser Balancer. Granted Raser tools are not cheap, but it's worth the money I think; especially if you're into the hobby and have a lot of kits. God Hand nippers paired with Gunprimer tools... 💯
As someone who intend on painting kits, I didn't see the use for raser or any glass file. Until I have clear kits that I don't intend on painting! Now I can build those kits with nice treatment to the nubs!
Another big benefit of the raser is how fast it works. Saves time which is priceless and I feel less effort.
