You click on that option and wait for it to finish extracting. You will get a new folder that is not zipped and that is the folder you need to move into your mods folder! After you’re done you may delete the zipped folder and that’s it :)

Does the CCs that I downloaded have to be unzipped by winrar the moment they finished downloading in order for it to show up in my game? I had the CCs files unzipped in my download folder even followed the steps in the video, but they didn't work. Please help, tyty

Yep, make sure you closed your game to restart the setting, double check if everything is in your mods folder. And that you didn’t put them to many folders deep

You’re not suppose to download the resource it’s only there for people who accidentally deleted it. The resource file will pop up ALREADY inside the mods folder once you enable custom content and script mods in your game settings..
For some reason the mod downloaded in my game but when I went to go see if it was there when editing my avatar the mod was not there when I clicked custom content did I do somthing wrong maybe??

Did you categorize to custom content in cas, and did you enable mods and script mods in your settings, double check what you downloaded and check the proper category if it was hair, accessories etc

Hello! I want to ask if you put the hair for toddlers/kids/teens/etc in the same folder, because my cc hair doesn't work for children.
Some hairs aren’t made for children they’re set to young adult through elders, try downloading hairs specifically marketed towards children sims

can you delete the winwar zip files after putting them into your mod folder? or are you required to leave them in your downloaded files too?
Zip doesn’t go in the folder only what’s inside the zip goes in your folder, after that you can delete the entire zip folder you don’t need it anymore

Kinda, you’ll put the tray folder in tray files and the mods in the mods folder

Your not suppose to open custom content because you physically can’t open that file.
