We make our own videos, as and when we've got the time - we're always busy putting MCN newspaper together, which is a big task in itself. Sometimes we make videos off our own back, like this, and sometimes our photographers squeeze them in during our photoshoots. We're not as big a team as people think, so sometimes the sound and pictures are wonky, but who cares? It's bikes and it's free! We just think you'd like to see some of the biking stuff we get to do while making the paper. Neevesy
Well, there's no denying that the sound quality needs improvement. On the other hand, the quality of Michael's explanation of the bike, I think, is the reason people actually came to see this vid. So good job.
Great Video! I bought my 848 Streetfighter 2 months ago, and im really happy with it. Spent a whole day at Gotland Ring, and damn what a good bike. The riding position, handling, brakes and ofc the engine, is all verry good. Great bike!

To everyone out there complaining about the video production, i get the sense that Mike here is working with what he's got (only a go pro) and he's a motorcycle enthusist first and an editor a distant 2nd. I think you have a good point hamish. Although I get that we're lucky to have these videos in the first place, there's no reason not to have a few decent riding shots with some voice over and also, throw in a bit of music! It makes all the difference when watching a video.
correct me if I am wrong but tire size should not affect the speedo!Not on a ducati...their system of measuring speed is ancient yet very simple. ..unless they changed it. ..which I hope they didnt
i love sport bikes for the handling capabilities, but i also like being somewhat upright for long rides which i kind of prefer. but sport touring bikes are usually larger engines and therefore heavier for shorter rides, bring back the vfr 800 honda

Nice review by Michael. I like this guy TOP MAN. But last time there was a lot of talk about audio recording. When you did 1089 streetfighter you did not learn the lesson. Mate fire the guy who edit the sound. when I put the volume up its ok but then musik kick on and my ears cry for mercy.
That is a pretty illogical argument. no one is criticising the content of the video, only the presentation of it in the given format. As a professional media company Bauer media should be doing a better job of editing the videos. if 9 out of 10 people are commenting on the videos, it shows they cared enough to post (so they like bikes!) but found that the audio was a problem for them.
im gonna start a kickstarter project to raise money for proper microphones for MCN... because this is just sad quality... michael neeves deserves better than this...
You have to realize they are putting out videos on youtube that get maybe 10k views. That's not a lot of money from google or magazine subscriptions. They are probably working with what they have.

The exhaust used to get in the way on the 1098 Streetfighter, but the pegs are spaced wider on this one, so it's not such a problem.
