Good morning ☀️
Very nice wiper transition at 3:15
That's some blockbuster shit right there
No.1. Impatient. Wrong side of road....what would you expect...😮
i wish people would start listing the insurance companies they deal with so we know who to use or not use
The driver of that cargo van hit a Nissan Sentra with 5 occupants inside. The three dead were a 3 month old baby and the child's grandparents. The parents, who were the other two occupants, are reported to have survived. The driver of the van also died. There was a passenger in the van that was seriously injured. The chase started after an off-duty officer called in a robbery at an LCBO.
RIP Baby.
Very sad day, that day, for the victims, and those that knew them....most definitely the poor baby 😢
The criminal and the victims were all foreigners. About what I've come to expect here in Canada.
pathetic of the police to pursue that.
@@zachfarrell234I live in a university town, i've seen more privileged white people steal from the lcbo then other groups
#14: That's on the bus driver, not the cammer, because they retracted the stop sign too soon. In fact, cammer did a great job paying attention.
Yup. Exactly the two points I came to the comments to make :p
I really like the rules regarding school buses in the USA, but what I don't understand is that it's not taught to children to cross the street infront of the bus instead of behind it.
Either way, you have to wait behind the bus because there is an absolute ban on overtaking.
As an oncoming vehicle you only have to wait until the stop sign is pulled in.
But if you see kids running around infront of the bus, you save yourself the moment of shock if they suddenly appear infront of the car out of nowhere.
Anyways, everything happened with very low speed, a cammer paying attention and a poor schoolbus driver, who probably didn't see the kids behind the bus
- which is actually another reason to teach them to cross streets from infront of the bus, so the driver can see.
@@Z0RDR4CK We were always taught to cross in front of the bus so the driver could see us. My now-15 -year -old son was taught the same thing.
@@839Unipicker I was surprised, because that's just as important as never running on or across the street between parked cars.
I don't think it's appropriate to assign blame in this situation. It's unreasonable to expect the bus driver to see these kids in a blind spot. This is specifically a great example of why it's always a drivers responsibility to drive cautiously in neighborhoods and past parked vehicles.
"The driver fleeing is also deceased" Due to your usage of tenses, I will now be worried about zombie drivers on the road! Thanks, alot!
Granted there are a lot of drivers who drive like they are brain dead.
5:24 - This crash clearly shows why people should be looking out for their own relatives. If you have a mother, father or anybody in your family that is starting to lose their ability to drive you need to step in. I had to wrestle the car keys from my 82 year old mother. I told her I would drive her where and when ever she needs to go somewhere. It's been 4 years and very tough but worth it.
I'm about to fight that with my dad soon, too... and this is way worse than taking away a toy from a toddler.
This will hurt his feelings, this will hurt his ego and in his opinion this will be just "one more step" on his stairway to heaven... metaphorical.
But I also like him to be around for some couple of years and I feel I have him to atleast think about that.
Peripheral view is so important when driving down the roads and its just natural that our skills improve to a certain point, remain for a while and from then on... detoriate.
Even my dad has to accept it.
If you are going to go through with this, you should also consider starting the process for the medical power-of-attorney. It usually doesn't active unless the attending doctor tells you that it's time.
Agreed. We had to take my grandfather's keys after he went the wrong way up a highway ramp and hit a tractor trailer! Fortunately it was fairly low speed. He was about 80 at the time.
I'm 67 and don't drive at night anymore. Usually men lose their night vision starting at 40, mine is fine. It's the other wankers out there that scare me. Worse than freeways? The yahoos walking in parking lots.
you gotta love the threat "hey you, you gonna be on UA-cam". Like who the hell cares... and what's going to happen to them anyway?

#17 That truck killed 3 people, a very young kids among them. :(
Yup
Very recently as well. Sad.
2 grandparents and infant grandchild besides the felon in the van who was responsible.
Parents were injured in that crash as well, their infant baby died.
Tragic! This clip was hard to watch, emotionally speaking. At least the felon was also killed. My heart goes out to the victims and their families.
This happened just north of me. It was horrifying. That poor family.
17 ,was on the news! This guy robbed an LCBO liquor store and ran down the wrong side of the road to try to get away. There's a big investigation on this incident right now.
Sounds to me like the pursuit police will claim the pursuit wasn't officially called off, but merely deciding to call it off at that point.
Police chasing wrong way was negligent and escalated the chase. And here we have the result.
@DBRising
What were the police supposed to do then? Let an attempting robber get away AFTER he attacked a cop?
@@SweetCandyDragon (sarcasm alert) well they had the license plate of the vehicle! They could have waited for him at home...

Cheech in that first one 😂
That was my first thought as well.
I knew I recognized that voice!
Sorry I'm a bit confused over this one, he didn't stop at the stop sign and rolled through only looking to the right so how is it the other drivers fault when he had the right of way?
@@secondchance6603 isn’t the truck on the opposite side of the road? I agree cammer should be at fault for running stop sign and not checking for traffic ahead but the pickup is at fault for using the wrong lane of traffic.
@@thomashuynh1972 Ah of course, I'm seeing it from someone who's country drives the other way round, thanks for the clarification.
#2, A man that takes responsibility for what he did.
Exactly
The way people drive, I wonder if the tests to get a license are intentionally made too easy. That bus driver screwed up by not telling the students to cross the street in front of the bus where they can be seen, and by turning the red lights off too soon.
I used to live somewhere where the govt. privatized driver testing. This sounds bad but you'd get driver's ed from someone of the same culture, then presto, a driver's license. Same thing for school buses and 18 wheelers.
@@dicksonfranssen Cool.
@ColtonRMagby "The way people drive, I wonder if the tests to get a license are intentionally made too easy..."
Easy or difficult, what difference does it make when idiots only care enough to fake human decency to pretend to care about the rules?
@@ITBOILSMYBLOOD It makes a difference when you're testing reading comprehension, which the DMV does.
@@ColtonRMagby "It makes a difference when you're testing reading comprehension, which the DMV does."
Sadly, a test can only tell if entitled people COMPREHEND the rules, but a test can't account for entitled people pretending to CARE for the rules after passing.
First clip is why I have trust issues turning left in a blind spot
In that case, it was the other driver's fault, but don't pull through. Too dangerous.
No, the collision was the cammer’s fault. Did not stop at the stop sign, did not make sure the lane was clear before entering the flow of traffic. The other driver was wrong for driving in that lane, however, the cammer caused the collision.
@@overlandbyday1130Isn't the truck on the wrong side of the road?
@@snowboardgurl4545 exactly. Truck is illegally passing the line of traffic. That's a fine dose of karma right there.
@snowboardgurl4545 both are morons. The white camry was blocking the cammers lane. So the impatient cammer took a left turn, from the wrong lane, while another moron completely broke the law.
So in hindsight, all the planets, moons and suns aligned perfectly.
17. That girl sounded like Shelly Marsh on South Park.
That braces accent. 🤣🤣🤣
No situational awareness. She's the type of driver that is scary.
@@jonthinks6238 man it happened so quickly...
I first thought it's about the other white car that suddenly turns left like having a medical or fell asleep at the wheel until I noticed the van riding the wrong way.
Imagine the van drove triple digits and the cammer 75ish this is atleast 175mph both cars close the gap to each other...
We can pause, rewind, play in slow-motion, stop aso, but the girl drove in RL... the brain needs a moment to figure things out you never believed will happen to yourself.
Talking smart from a save spot like a couch is pretty easy and it wasn't her messing up the situation... imo it's criminals that are scary! probably sometimes police, too.
The Canadian cars sliding off the road and into the ditch- anyone who has driven long enough in the snow knows that ‘oh crap, I caught the slush’ feeling! Nicely landed by both cars! 😂
I know that feeling except I did a 180 going uphill at night. The laws of physics didn't seem to apply that night.

#17 @ 6:35 - a 3 month old and 2 grandparents were killed in that crash. Very sad
Thank you for the additional info.
Truly sad😢
omg noo I didn't need to know that 😭
So heartbreaking💔
Robbery suspect, stolen Uhaul van. The driver of the uhaul (in his 20's and his passenger in his 30's) eventually hit a rig headon, the driver died, his passenger is in hospital under police custody. The SIU is investigating the pursuit now. The two grandparents were visiting from India to see their 3 month old grandson. The parents of the child were also injured as they were all in their car together. Always be aware... anything can happen at any time. Just look at the news about the 18 year olds that stole car and was located in Thorncliffe. They hit the police officer sending him over the hood and roof of the stolen car. With so many carjackings, be aware that these stolen vehicles can appear anywhere, anytime, including what happened in the (17).. driving the wrong way on the 401 at approximately 160 kmph. Since most are driving between 100 - 120, imagine the impact at about 260 kmph. Never take the eyes off the road, even for a moment. Leave the phone alone, leave the info screen on the dash alone. It just might save your life.... and wear your seat belt!
The chase had also been called off. So all of those cops were acting on their own. Not in any official capacity.
MAKES ME WANT TO STAY THE FUCK AT HOME!!!!!
#6 - I'm from Ohio and coincidentally staying in New Brunswick, NJ this weekend. I didn't know what you meant by Jersey Slide but INSTANTLY recognized it on the video. These NJ drivers are all over the damn place and do not understand how lanes work.
They do just don’t care
California roll, Ohio stroll, who knows how many other names there are is still running a stop sign. It's just making it sound less illegal if you have a cute name for it.
What the shoulder isn't a merge lane everywhere? Every road isn't some posted 40, 45, 55mph but driven at 75mph suicide journey?
As someone who moved to NJ 25 years ago, I'll concur with all Jersey driver stereotypes, but I will add that the way they mark exits in much of NJ is bizarre. They frequently put the exit sign in a position that is actually a bit downroad from the ramp entrance (so it would be on your left in the pie shaped median as you are exiting), so people from all over realize they are about to miss their exit and streak across a lane or two.
#12 -- For those of you who don't know, Arizona has converted some of their center left-turn lanes to reversible thru-traffic "suicide" lanes. Hooray, Zonies!!!
yeah, and according to the signs and the camera-timestamp on this intersection a left turn is prohibited at the time of this particular recording... (4-6pm - cam showing 5:40 pm). So in every scenario the car trying to turn left is fully at fault!
Well, the white sedan made a turn from the wrong lane, either way.
#2, i did that in a blizzard in 1995-1996 on I-395 in Brewer, Maine in a 1992 Chevy Lumina going to a Jr Prom with my friend riding shotgun. I only had my license for a year. We were on our way to pick up our dates and in the blink of an eye, the highway "disappeared" and I drifted down into the median going about 45 mph. I kept it steady and straight and after about 100 feet i fentle pointed the front of that burgundy bomber back up onto the highway and that's where it went without so much as a hiccup. I missed a utility pole in the median by a couple of feet, but we got to our destination and back safely that night.
I love your content! I find myself saying "thank God" for dash cams! I live in a very small town with maybe 2 'stop' signs! The only time I have to endure traffic is if I get called to jury duty! My normal drive to 'town' is 2 lane highway past orchards, vineyards, corn fields, herds of sheep, cows, horses, elk and on and on...But watching your stuff is SO exciting! Thank you!
Ah, the good life, country living, stay safe and watch out for the wildlife.

18. I need that horn LOL
what is it with so many truck and body on frame SUV drivers driving like rageing psychopaths? I feel like I am the only truck driving person (2009 Dodge Ram) that drives almost like a grandpa lol
I don't think it's a truck driving thing -- it's a person thing. Since some people drive trucks, some trucks will be road jerks.
@@bvoyelr No, it is actually by design. SUV's were specifically marketed to psychopathic personalities in the early 90's and there is very strong studies to back up the fact that most SUV drivers are in fact psychopaths.
It's an ego thing, clearly. It's the only way they know how to be "cool" 🙄
We have a Subaru Crosstrek and no, *it does not have a canoe on the roof* Why on Earth do I need a truck?
#2 man I thought everyone was going 100+ till I read the km😂
But that is still 68.35 mph, which isn't possible fast for those road conditions, IMO.
It's a damn shame that Canada is trying to be like Portland.
Why is it that people who get the horn still keep on moving over?!
"oh that can't be for me, cuz i'm doing everything correctly."
because all a horn says, now, is "I want to talk to your manager."
Can we say stupid and idiots? They just don't care until they are in an accident.
because so many idiots do not BEEP the horn to warn you, but blast evryone with a LOOONNNNNG horn for something that did not even closely happen, drivers have been desensitized to horns and if you asked, they would not remember. Stop using horn to YELL after the fact, use it only to WARN of a danger.
@@pierredaigneault5615why do you guys get so upset over being honked at? On this channel theres almost never a case where the honk was unnecessary... maybe they honk way too long or way too much sure, but your perception of "something that did not even closely happen" is not reality. Dashcams use wide lens cameras that are specifically made to give a wider view to show more of the sides, this in turn stretches out the picture and makes things in the center look smaller and further away. So while you think people weren't that close and a horn wasnt needed in reality they were way closer than they looked. People need to google a side by side of dashcam vs irl and they'll feel like fools for all the blame the put on cammers.
Im convinced some of these drivers are from another planet with different traffic rules.
Such a weird and hilarious caption
"When I took my phone out... he was already naked." 😂😂
5:20 That was the bus driver's fault. He's supposed to stay stopped until all students cross the road safely
I don't think the bus driver can see children that are at the back of the bus like that. It's simply the responsibility of drivers to be aware and slow in these instances.
@@proxymoxie7882 I worked part time as a bus driver once. His job is to watch the children and don't move until he can see that they crossed safely.
@@johnnielson4341 you working the job doesn't change that they were in a blind spot. Being aware of pedestrians is everyones responsibility.

#19 The rare sighting of a Tesla with a front license plate.
Because they are the worst drivers, taking the dubious honor away from Prius drivers.
@@jonthinks6238 100% agree.
I do not drive alongside or next to cars in the lane next to me.
Or worse yet in another car's blind spot. "1203" on the back of a tanker truck is gasoline, not a good thing.
That bus driver should be fired. Its her responsibility to wait until the kids are across the street before she turns off the stop signs and start driving off.
The children are also supposed to go in front of the bus not go to the rear of the bus and walk across.
And she should be instructing the kids to all exit and cross in front of the bus
It is, but the kids are also specifically told that they're required to cross the street in front of the bus, not behind it. That way the driver can see them, and can keep the red lights on until they're safely across. When the kids decide to cross behind the bus, the driver can't see them and doesn't know to keep the red lights on.
I guess we should fire you for not being perfect huh?
Parents are responsible for teaching their children how to exit the bus properly.

Until your car gets too old to be worth paying for full coverage
Not sure about now but the standard liability coverage used to be one million. Stepping up to two million was just $20 more. When we stepped up from our beater Cavalier to a Subaru our insurance was cut in half. It's a strange world.

#4 What is the link between the incident and the fact that it is an elderly person?
Poor eyesight, poor hearing and general lack of coordination is directly related to a driver's age. While exceptions exist, they are uncommon.
5:05 Bus driver messed up.
bus driver messed up a little, cammer messed up a little, kid messed up a lot. cammer corrected everybody's mistakes.
6:11 cannot believe you gave him a break. now he's going to continue to hit and run.
No damage. So what do you require in recompense for nill? You just thrive on the suffering of others?
Bad drivers should always be reported.
I think the young kid freaking out over the incident is punishment enough. He did pull over after a minute or so instead of persisting in trying to get away - and good thing too, as running put him at risk of getting into a worse accident.
Things like this are a judgement call. The question here is, is it really necessary to engage the system here? Or did the kid learn from this? I'd say kid should minimally pay for damages, but there wasn't any, so moot point.

Yeah not gonna say the cammer did much right there. Yelled at an old woman for slowly changing into his lane while cruising in her blind spot, accosted her with a stupid threat, then intentionally cut her off.
Cammer is the loser on that one.
I worked for a while near #12 in Phoenix, That extra middle lane serving as a lane of traffic in the morning and evening helps to alleviate the excess traffic, but so many people are too stupid to understand how the lane works. Basically in the morning and evening it serves as an extra one way lane in the direction of the heaviest traffic, but people still pull into it and think they can use it as a turning lane even though you can see it has a sign every 50 feet saying no left turns from X time to X time.
What's worse is the ding dong that tried to turn left wasn't in that middle lane. How do you turn there without checking looking left first?
@@nboddie1036 Very true, and there's no left turns at all during that time of the day except at certain intersections. So the other car was wrong every which way but loose.

2 things I need to mention here. 1 when the insurance company of the at fault driver refuses to talk to you, your own insurance company is supposed to take the claim over and pay to repair or replace your car and they’re then supposed to go after the other driver or their insurance company. And to .16 your were very lenient cause in most states fleeing from the scene of an accident is a felony and by fleeing the person who runs now becomes the at fault driver automatically
In Germany you are not allowed to overtake on the right shoulder and i think this is a good idea. 😊
There are several states here in the US where passing on the right is illegal, and most others it is still the expectation that passing is only on the left.
#4 They cut you off so you in turn cut off AND brake checks some seniors? Classy.
Yeah let's just terrify the old lady. "You're gonna be on youtube!" Get over yourself.
I definitely dont agree with how he reacted but where do you see cammer cutting them off and brake checking them? I didnt see that. There is no rear facing camera footage at that point and his speed doesnt drop at all when he passes whomever is in the right lane.
Seniors are some of the most dangerous drivers on the road. I get cammers frustration, he had every right to be upset. They almost hit his vehicle and didnt bother to acknowledge or even try to correct themselves when he honked.. they just kept going for it. I dont agree with him yelling at them at the stop light though. That was excessive.
Didn't see him change lanes and then clearly hear him lock up his brakes@@ItsmeBish584
Lol, senior drivers are the only dangerous in here. Bunch of nonsense.
#14 That's totally on the schoolbus driver! He should know which way the kids go , and not have pulled in the Stop sign!
Bus driver can't stop kids from crossing incorrectly behind the bus after appearing to go to the street the exit faces. And how is the driver supposed to know there's kids behind the bus?
@@darkedgex Count the kids as they leave, then count the kids who escape your blind spots. If you're two short, it probably means they're still in your blind spots. I could understand if there were like 15+ kids unloading, but this stop didn't appear to have more than 6 or 7.
@@bvoyelr You realize kids walk away towards their homes rapidly sometimes? Or they get in the car of a waiting parent and drive away before you've finished? Short of having a fisheye camera on the back of the bus to check prior to turning off the lights there's not really any way the driver would know someone walked behind the bus after getting to the curb unless they had more than one set of eyeballs to watch EVERYONE in motion...
Agreed
Are you not supposed to completely stop around a stopped school bus until they continue their journey?
#18, what confusing lanes though!
Well that song was nostalgic. I'll be there for you.
I love it when an idiot speeds up to box someone in (speed recorded by their own dash cam), then flips out when they get cut off for being a dick...

And they evidently didn't kill the knife wielding attacker when they initially confronted him.
It's easy to cry police brutality until a lack of it results in, what, 4 innocent souls lost?
Not saying the cops made the right choice here. But, Canada shouldn’t learn anything from your country. Your driving fatality rate and incidents involving law enforcement is significantly higher than ours.

i guess most people assume that people have shame. And you can bash the idea all you want, I have seen COUNTLESS corrupt, evil sacks of human sh!t get exposed on youtube and the ONLY reason justice ever found them was because 10,000 people called their place of business and the police until someone HAD to do something to avoid the negative PR.
This is especially true for government employees, they will do whatever they want until someone with a camera shows up. I always wonder what, exactly, the "And they didn't even react!!!" crowd is expecting. For the other driver to pull over and grovel at their bumper in the middle of the road? Once you've honked, you've made your point. An apologetic wave would be appreciated but you should be getting back to driving safely instead of raging either way.
@@catw9884If someone honked at me while I was attempting a stupid maneuver I would stop what i was doing and give an apology wave. #11 'the insurance company isn't responding to my calls'. I see people saying this a lot (or 'waiting on the other persons insurance'). You shouldn't be dealing with the other persons insurance at all. Why waste money on a lawyer? That is what you pay your insurance company for. Pay your deductible and get your car fixed. Your insurance company will go after the other persons insurance company for reimbursement of the repair and your deductible. If you are not at fault they cannot raise your rates even if they don't get anything from the other insurance company.
When I was younger I got rear ended. I only had liability insurance at the time. Beings the accident wasn’t my fault and the insurance didn’t have to pay anything they were never involved. I called them and told them to get on the ball and they said it wasn’t their problem. I don’t remember what insurance company it was but I know it’s not the one I have now.
the chance is, the cammer didn't insure his own car.
@@ribo451 looking back I didn’t really take into account people that don’t have full coverage. I lease my cars so always have to have full coverage. If your car is paid off and you only have liability then obviously you can’t get your car fixed without the other person’s insurance. Not sure if you insurance comp would help you in that situation. In the scenario I replied to the insurance companies motivation is to get their money back from the attorney fault party.

#12, 4:14 I have never seen a road like that. Is that some kind of turn lane? Why is there two double yellows with constant openings on both sides?
it's a reversible lane, which usually means it switches directions depending on the time of day. In some places the function might switch depending on time of day too, not just direction

If you are referring to the first clip, the pick-up driver was also driving on the WRONG side of the road, so he will be ticketed.
1st guy should have been cited for running a stop sign.
Clip 17, I panicked so hard when I saw the white FC on the right of the screen thinking something was going to happen to it.
#1 the DC cammer ran a stop sign he rolled through a stop sign without stopping then caused a crash then says the other driver was cited and insurance finally settled
A stop sign means stop you come to a complete stop
Running the stop sign definitely gives the pick up driver the right to drive down the wrong side of the road. Nice job blaming the victim.
@@lionsfaninva5536 let me guess you’re the cammer or a friend or family now you’re trying to defend as to why you ran a stop sign 😂

@philsmith8255 "#1...cammer ran a stop sign... then caused a crash then says the other driver was cited..."
So obviously, since the cammer rolled the stop sign, the guy speeding in the oncoming lane gets automatically ignored? 🤨

0:34 That's a cool dash cam that displays an overlay of the Gs, speed, and map. Which model is that??
It says red tiger f7n on the bottom
2:35 Totally unnecessary horn.
I would've honked. Just because you CAN fit in front of another driver doesn't mean you should. That was too close.
If you have a dash cam you would know that a wide angle makes things look further than what they appear. Not enough room for a safe merge. Key word is safe. Just because you can merge doesn't mean you should. All you need is the car that merged in front of you to brake suddenly and you are in a bad spot. Doesn't mean they should. There's a reason why we leave a safe distance
there needs to be a max driving age..too many old people who shouldnt be driving..less cars on the road equals less traffic and less pollution to all those save the earth people
Also there needs to be a minimum age to drive. Say, 27.
I think after a certain age you should have to re-take your driving test yearly or every six months, not just the written. I knew someone who drove until 90 and she was just fine, but if (god forbid) someone has dementia at 60 they shouldn't be driving at all. Overall there should be more attention paid to seniors, they are overlooked so often.
