Jackie great to see you back. You always speak the truth. Nixon may have said some bad things, but actions speak louder than words. It is my understanding that Nixon made it possible for Israel to get the ammunition and supplies to defend the country. He turned out to be a friend to Israel.
It slays me how so many narrow-minded and clueless people interpret actual fairness and objectivity as anti everything. In making their arguments they show themselves to be prejudiced and I guess if you don't join them in their bigotry you are being unfair and against them. I'm very sorry that many people in America think killing is the answer to all our problems. I am also sorry our media plays those comments for the rest of the world to see. I am unsure why our mainstream media always portrays the worst of our society. I hope everyone can forgive us.
Not everyone in America feels that killing is the solution. Many feel war is wrong and want it to stop. Many more Americans want our wars to stop and are fighting for peace. Bernie Sanders also believes peace is possible and is fighting for it here in America. Bernie Sanders spent some time in Israel when he was younger. During the Democratic debate made it abundantly clear "Israel has the right to defend itself and; Israelis have a right to exist." Also, he said he wants peace for the Israelis and the Palestinians, God willing, but that agreement would be extremely hard to accomplish.
He did refer to the time when Israel bombed the Palestinian hospital he thought the attack was a little bit excessive. I believe, Bernie Sanders truly wants to negotiate a peace deal that will work for both parties. He also understands it will be hard to negotiate if both parties are constantly escalating conflicts. Bernie is Pro-Israel and Pro-Peace.
Unfortunately, to achieve peace it takes hard work and sacrifice. Again, I am sorry for the misguided negative aspects of our society.
