I would tell anyone who watches this video that shutting off the breaker at the panel and walking away without locking out and tagging the breaker is unsafe at any voltage, that breaker panel was in an open area accessible to anyone. Always secure the power source at the breaker so that only you can turn it back on when you are finished wiring your motor and are ready to restart.
If you see the video completly you noticed that they have a service switch on in the unit for safety. But yeah way better if lock the breaker or panel.
We have plenty of the Sarnifil white rubber roofs at my school, on wet or frosty mornings I walk on them like I'm on a frozen pond, lol! Like them better than the ones weighed down with rock, though. Looked like fun, just got to tear a side wall mounted fan apart the other day, it was full of straw and bird feathers. Looked pretty neat and clean when you were done.
I noticed your line power wires were brown, orange, yellow. That is the standard color for 3 phase 460v. But i noticed you wired it up for 208/230v. 3 phase208/240v is black, blue, red. I know the color of the wire really does not have any effect on the voltage. Maybe the electrician used what ever wire they had at the time. I never seen that before though. Are you sure you had 208/240v being supplied to that motor? I am guessing you did.
Anthony Reardon hvacr good looking out man!...The fan use to be used with 440v....when it was in the old location...but whem it was moved the old motor was rewired for 208/230....but the existing wires from the switch in the fan stayed....Great observation!!!!!!!😁

He should have a lock out tag on it so people are aware why the switch is off and for his own safety.
