Just a quick question: Did Barry ever talk about using the Harmonic Minor scale? For example over minor 2 5 1s ? Or is he always thinking in major?
Barry hated harmonic minor ,he puts the 6th diminished of the major relative to break that tension of a aum. 2nd between the 7th and the natural 6th.
When he does the seventh of Bb7 down to the third of G7, that’s harmonic minor
