Ever wanted fretless bass to be HARDER!? Lap steel bass!!

Where tha heck can I actually FIND one??? I can't play guitar normally because of tendon issues, but I want to play a LAP bass. Hard to find to purchase for a beginner...

I also have tendon issues. Any half competent builder can make a lap bass. I threw mine together with spare parts. It’s just a lap steel with less strings and a 30” scale length

@@AgressiveElevatorMusic Thanks for that! That's sort of the only other idea I was toying around with in my head, so it's really great to hear that someone has ACTALLY done this! I was thinking exactly that, "maybe just convert a regular lap steel to a bass guitar." Thanks a million.

I've been messing around with a slide, and a regular bass guitar just to see if I can even FUNCTION like that, and there's definitely potential there!@@AgressiveElevatorMusic
