It's interesting that you can purchase tiny power packs that can jump start a car but EcoFlow haven't incorporated the same technology into this unit.
True there’s some solar generator companies that do have that facility maybe that’s the next evolution 👍👍

I am thinking of getting one of these to power my van conversion. When you had it plugged into the cottage the fans were very noisy. Does it run queiter if you had a laptop plugged into?

The fans only run when it’s pulling a lot of power and they are not that bad in real life it does have an app so if you put it in a camper van garage out the way you can just use the app too which help keep the noise down 👍

Hi Dave can i ask please if you had a guess how long would it take to charge it from 0 to 100 % with a solar panel on a cloudy day with no sun ? 🤔
Well that’s impossible to answer sorry
Depends how big a solar panel you have and how much sun you will get
You can do some maths that will give you a little bit of an idea
Take the side of your solar panels
Say it’s 400w and you get 25% of that 100w the unit will take 6500W MultiCharge, 2.7 hours AC charging
So if you divide 100w by 6500w then x that number by 2.7 hours
Do you get the idea
Basically, if you’re not got a lot solar, it’ll take a hell of a long-term to charge 👍

Hi mate electrics really confuse me ive tried so much to learn but i dont think il ever get it so im looking at this powerbank. Do you think i could live fulltime in a van with one of these ? il be using it for everything you can imagine electrical wise 😄 just dont no were id charge it aswell unless i go libarary and pretend to read a book while its charging under the table 🤣

Yes this is a great unit that can do everything you need in your van for 12v dc and 240v ac it is a plug and play system
Re charging you can use portable solar panels in summer but you would be better get fixed ones on the roof of your van and you can charge it from a 12v car lead but this is a slow way to do it
They are people out they that can help you fit solar and charging units

Ok the best way to work it out is do some maths
Add up the watts of the things you are going to use in a day x that by the day you will be away this will give the your consumption
You get 3200 wh this means if you use say 3200w in a day it will last you one day and so on
Also remember to use electric products that have low Watts this also helps with reducing power usage
My kettle in the van is 750w but the one in our cottage is 2500w 👍

@@onemanandhiswhippet right I get it now 😀 I could be rong but I think this power station is the most powerfull one on the market for vans ? thankyou Dave but it won't be for a little while yet 😞 il keep you in mind though at the time to see if you've got anything for sale that'll come in handy. I'm still trying to choose what van I want I was really interested in getting a ford connect for insurance and diesel reasons but kept hearing about wet belts being unreliable ? I'm now thinking of getting a mercedes Vito. The thing is I can only drive automatic and I live in a ulez compliant zone so tryna get a good balance in a van has been tricky 😂
