Truthfully! The best simple explained video of this generator with a travel trailer. Not a technical person at all and using simple terminology was key. Also, showing the simplicity of your setup with no additional batteries etc was a major help. THANK YOU!
We had two solar panels installed on rv this past summer. And a lithium battery. We're really hoping it's going to free us up for more than talking. Great video. Lynn and Danny. New friend. 😊
@@RVAmerica Thank you! That's exactly what I was curious about. That means you have 2.8kWH so right between the two options we presented in this video, in terms of energy storage capacity. 240AH * 12v = 2.88kWH (my math 😛)
These high frequency, transformerless Deltra pro units might be fine for an occasional camping trip, but expected it to last very long when powering real, household loads. High frequency solar generators, offer a far poorer surge capacity when compared to low frequency solar generators and they offer a far shorter life expectancy.
Thank you for your comment. I know that EcoFlow advertises it for use for real household loads and our brief testing with full A/C and fridge had no issues, but worth considering for some people with different use cases.
Nice, we just got the Delta 3 Plus (lighter and 1kWh) and like the portability. AC won't run, but planning to use in milder temperatures. Becky and Mike
Thank you. I’m trying to figure out which to go with. I thot the Max 2 would be a great option. I’m full time but not started boondocking yet. This would be a good to have for less $$ than adding to solar on rig if it doesn’t work out. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving! Part of the reason we went with the solar generator route was because it is so plug and play and we could make sure it worked and adjust as necessary. When we first got it, I thought we might be trying to run our air conditioner. If we did that, I think we would need the EcoFlow Delta Pro + some additional batteries + lots of solar. Now that I know that for the foreseeable future we're just going to be boondocking where we don't need A/C, I wish I'd gotten the Delta 2 Max. It's less expensive and half the weight. New subscriber. You all produce some very high quality videos! I love the AI that you use; where do you get it? We have created a channel but have not posted anything yet, we are still learning from great channels like yours. It would be nice if you could produce a video/audio gear video of what you use and your techniques.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Thank you for subscribing! Thank you also for the video suggestion. That would be a fun video to make! We used DOLLE-3, which is built into the paid version of ChatGPT to make the images. Good luck with your channel. The hardest part is just to start posting. We are relatively new also and it's amazing how much you learn just by doing it.
Electrical and Computer Engineering. I’ve done product management in solar and other areas of tech. In our next video we are going to share a little more about us and our backgrounds 😊 Thanks for watching!! We always have a blast 💥
@@HomeIsWhereYourHoneyIs Oh neat, thanks for sharing and looking forward to that video when you release it. I'm a software engineer that just likes to tinker with batteries and solar. Occasionally i like to nerd out with folks like u :) // Me personally I am saving up for an RV or DIY a travel sprinter van and work remote on the side of a mountain :D
Thank you so much for explaining your solar set up! I'm slowly putting together a system to experiment with. Possibly try to use it for "Field Day." Jake KC8BQN
What do you all use for solar or what are you thinking about using if you haven’t yet tried it out?? We'd love to hear from you!!
Really enjoyed the video

What brand of batteries did you get? How much storage?
@HomeIsWhereYourHoneyIs Our new battery is a Go Power battery. Danny said it is 240 amp hours. Hope this answers your question.

Tried out my Delta two max today with the 110 plug converter. Powered the microwave at 900 W and everything else in the RV except the AC unit.

Very informative!

Out of curiosity what is your technical background? Great video btw, yall look like you're having a blast!

Nice job. Thanks.
Thank you for saying! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Just wish it had a higher capacity (30a) 12v dc output - you can build it into the power system then
Ah! Do you mean that you wish you could run the 12 volt system off of the 12 volt DC output, instead of needing to plug the whole camper in?
