Being in condition does not equal good shape. Bob Paris was rarely ripped and Matt Mendenhall was never dialed in. Their physiques were 1000x better than Walker.

What exactly are you basing that on he probably would have won the Olympia last year had he participated if he wasn't injured so now you've dropped him out of ever being able to win again considering he probably would have won the Olympia and I actually love Derek but Nick Walker standing next to him may have beaten him last year but now I can't ever win again what exactly are you basing this on
@@BruceWayne-ri4wrthat’s a pretty bold assumption man. Derek improved quite a bit and Hadi was pretty similar to his 2022 package. Both beat Nick in 2022.

Although Nick didnt look very good here we have to remember that he is one week out so he is depleted and doesnt have much pop. He has always had big midsection but always gets in in check for show day. Shed last of the water, get some carbs in and control his midsection and i believe he will be in very good shape for his show
Luckily he was depleted 😂. Imagine if he was full 😂.

His midsection may be blocky but it’s absolutely stacked, I don’t even think he looks bad, especially with the closeups i think he looks insane I’m curious i think the reactions are overblown people acting like nick didn’t have a blocky midsection before
I appreciate the jokes but it seems it's all what people do in these comments lately. Yes, Nick sometimes lets his gut go, but he controls it very well when he wants to. He simply has no reason to restrict his breathing for a guest posing. The only thing I can really criticize him for is his midsection getting wider. His obliques kind of blew up. He needs to get his midsection tighter somehow.

Wow Hunters legs are enormous in the front lat spread part
Derek is a few inches shorter than Nick and Martin, which means he's very short, probably 5'4" to be exact.
The 2 Classic guys are stepping way in front. Lol
martin with some size can beat every1 here he is the most complete bodybuilder literally no weak bodyparts except some peak in his biceps

@@YoMomma1337 nope, they are already good (not exceptional), and he's holding his own size wise with a full bulky Derek.
To be fair, Martin just competed and is basicly still in contest shape, so it's not strange he's smoking guys that are not. That being said, I'm super bullish on Martin, he took one offseason and basicly eliminated his few weaknessess, that's Phil Heath type of progress, Brighton future in the sport if he can stay healthy.

Everyone in the comments is trashing on Nick, but look at Derek. Yeah, Nick has a gut, but so did Ronnie. But look at Derek! Something is clearly up with his left side, the left lat seems MUCH smaller. The left lat is like a third the size of the right one in the rear double bicep, and his entire back in the rear lat spread seems smaller than at the Olympia, despite him having a higher bodyfat percentage because of being in the off season. If he doesn't do something about it, he will lose his Olympia title, regardless of whether or not Hadi can get into the US.
If Derek had Nick's arm size he would beat Haddi hands down.

Nick's lack of an X frame due to him not having a quad sweep, wide midsection is really hurting him here... He is also not the widest through the shoulders. I admire Nick for his hardwork and self belief but genetics is king when it comes to the elite level and his genetics can't take him any further unfortunately against more gifted bodybuilders... I am still rooting for him though. I really admire his personality and attitude. Best of luck to him.
I actually compared the heights from where they stand on the blue square yesterday and it appeared Martin was actually slightly taller than nick walker

well the actual show wasnt yesterday, he still has a week before he steps on stage and i promise he will be fuller, drier and he will be tighter through the midsection. lets not forget that he had a serious injury 7 months ago that could have ended a lot of bodybuilders carrers and he is imo on track to present his best physique to date. that is impressive to me not disappointing

Nick hit his genetic limit long ago, he tries to get even bigger but the only thing that will grow is his midsection.
I recommend you do do some research and read about the EGF (extended genetic factor) these guys can actually bring their bodies beyond their genetic limit but people are always blaming it on drugs and oils
@@little_rascaltake the drugs out of bodybuilding and you no longer have bodybuilding. They are chemistry experiments who happen to enjoy lifting weights.
Martin impressed me over Derek, they are about the same size (Martin being sightly taller) but Martin muscle volume is comparable to that of Derek, the former being not bulking but 1 week off.

I agree with people saying Nick midsection looks awfull, but it's mainly during transition, when he is in the pose, it looks very good. I also do think based on how he is that he truly didn't care at all about keeping his midsection tight or anything during this guestposing, he was just here for fun and dude doesn't care about what anyone is thinking of him. We'll see at the NY pro, still rooting for him for the Olympia. I just hope he tkaes care of that midsection during transition cause he is doing himself a disservice, even if not in the pose yet, judge don't like that.

@@Realistic316....guys’ midsections generally don’t get better as they age, it gets worse. This is why people are starting to detract from Nick. Yes, he has kept it in check previous years, but he’s getting older, hasnt competed in a while, and his midsection is looking bigger than ever. Not likely he can magically turn it into a vacuum

Please understand that he traveled 6 hours from new Jersey and had 5 meals in him before the guest posing. Not to mention he drank probably between 6-8 liters of water. I will gatentee his stomach will not be an issue and he will be shredded to the bone come NYP. The show isnt even going to be close. The man deserves more respect than you all are giving him. Mark my words remember my name come no later then Saturday night.
If i were pro i wouldn't do any guest poses close to a show and only maybe one at all, halfway in off-season

Have you ever considered doing a video on the bodybuilder with the best off-season build? I got into lifting so I would look better, thus the best physique is more interesting to me than who can look like crap walking around but strike the best poses at a certain angle. In this line-up the best walking-around build is clearly Jacked, by several miles. But that's just my opinion.

With the new mass monsters in the game (Kryzo, Rubiel, etc), Nick strange proportions and akwardly shaped quads are far as ever of gaining an Olympia.
You could say the same about Derek. I dont see him winning to many O's anyway.

@@patriknagy5601 rubiel is strange but a lot more balanced. His posing needs a lot of work and his legs are bad in terms of separation, but thats all. In the front double he tilts his arms too much and doesnt really open up; you can see, thanks of his side poses and lats spread, that he has elite arms (bigger than kryzo's, which is insane) and pretty decent lats. When he learns how to pose properly he will demolish guys like Nick, mark my words.
@@ExtremeMetalLIVE yes, Rubiel in the right hands gonna be very dangerous to everyone. One thing can stop him from winning the olympia, if the head judge decides not to award "weird" physiques. I think he can reach separation in his legs with extreme conditioning, in his case, he shouldnt worry about losing leg size pushing too much cardio. So he can do as much cardio as he needs to be diced to the bone without his legs getting too small. I hope he focuses on posing and conditioning

I love your videos but I wish you would say their actual height, when possible. (i know sometimes it is not) Andrew Jacked is 6'3" and monstrous. God tier bodybuilder and an uncrowned Mr. O imo. His back is basically the only thing he needs to work on if he wants to be first. But my eyes are drawn to him more then any other bodybuilder regardless of his back. But I want Andrew to stay healthy and not use too much gear. I prefer that he doesnt win to be honest if it means he is being safer with the gear. Great video!
