- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are doing an evolution hovercraft race! We have 2 minutes to build a hovercraft and race them. Whichever hovercraft wins becomes the new default hovercraft for everyone to build off of and modify. We get another 60 seconds to improve after each race, taking the winning hovercraft to improve on each time. Whoever does the best at improving the builds wins!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

My god that was hilarious. I had to pause, couldn't see the screen because of tears. I felt bad for Kan, but in the end he had the stroke of genius.
suggestion: evolving battle tanks, basically you build battle tank and fight each other, who ever survives is the winner (it actually makes sense now because battling is involved)
That's a good take on the battle idea. Imagine if they fluke a win with a jank tank and then have to use it again! XD

It would be cool to see an evolution series but you all get only a certain part of a vehicle like one person gets the front one person gets the back and one gets the middle then you have to evolve into a vehicle that can do a thing idk

scrap man when making the video: time to dominate and beat everyone on every round and become a god of hovercrafts. little fun fact I made a better more evolved version of his with less power cores and blocks than his last version and it was much much faster going 573 MPH at its top speed or 922 KPH relatively close to breaking the sound barrier but I'm still making it faster its still a work in progress just saying I would have dominated with that thing the whole race also it is really really good at controls and really good at balance the chance of me losing is 0.0079% and yes I did the math
After watching a few videos I am now unsure if the reason scrap wins is because his builds are actually better or if it's just because he is the only one who can actually drive.

Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of trail makers noobs v pro
Well that was something interesting. I like how it slowly becomes chaotic by the end XD.
Hey Scrapman nice hover build, tbh what you needed were either some weak flat horizontal wings in the back to kinda keep you level, though at that speed if your nose bobbed up you might take flight XD
....Or some wing pieces on a hinge or rotating servo for aerobrakes. Could be weak could be strong, up to you, they just need to turn opposite directions, preferably front side inward as the opposite can make drifting more intense.
I'd actually like to see what you would come up with with these additions.
Can't remember if the simple joints take power cores.
kAn's final design was pretty smart, so long as the Hovers keep a certain speed, it'll stay up.
Next up: Submarine evolution. That would be so cool!

Have at least 2thrusters in your creation
