I’m glad I saw this. I want to get the Romeo X enclosed but I really want green. Great to hear. It’s coming out. But now I really want the Romeo 3 Max.
If SIG Sauer, Inc. truly wants to captivate the optics market. They need to offer a genuine 'Made in the US' optics line. *_NOT_* "Assembled in the US". HUGE difference folks. _Huge..!_ Stay classy my friends.
I'm inclined to agree. Trijicon is to my knowledge the only truly "made in America" manufacturers of red dots unfortunately. Almost everyone else in outsourcing or from Europe
Id love this except for glass. They should keep using german Zeiss glass. Id believe the trijicon is using US glass because their glass is garbage. Distortion is just the worst. SIG (newer aspherical lens versions), AimPoint, Steiner, Trijicon in that order as far as glass quality goes. Shame that the red dot glass is so bad when their magnified optics have fantastic clarity.
If somebody owned something like a P320-M17 (or 18) and they wanted to keep their rear sight, would they need to buy a DPP compatible plate that included an integral rear sight on it? Thanks in advance for an answer.
@minuteman2547 You probably cook dinner over a burn barrel in the backyard, salt heavily and air dry all your meats, and warsh your clothes on a warsh board down by the crick. I use a stove (sometimes BBQ), A refrigerator, a washing machine, and a Trijicon RMR on muh pistol. I don't think enclosed is really necessary, as I've never had any issues with my open reflex dots (Both my RMR and RomeoX compact) I can absolutely confirm that my splits, And even my draw to 1st shot are way quicker with a dot, and thats not even bringing up accuracy (which is also way better with a dot) but different strokes for different folks. Also would point out that cost of ammo doesn't ever keep me from the range, what keeps me from the range is not enough time in the Day/week/month.
@@vegeta420z On the contrary, I am suburban,Masters degree, don't use sugar or salt as modern food has plenty of both. Retired USMC and shot for rifle/pistol team up to western divisionals. Perhaps that is why I am quicker with iron. I have purchased 2 Romeo X and gave myself time to become accustomed but find my awareness for surrounding situations is too obscured (and yes both eyes open). Your assumed stereotyping leads me to believe you judge everyone first before looking inwards to yourself,

We are glad we saved you some time and money 😁

As great as that sounds, the best glass and electronics are not made in the US.
Yep. Japan! @@alfye7647
Thank you guys
Thank YOU!
Are they the real RMS-c footprint with the 4 recoil lugs, or the 'modified' one where you can't have the front 2 lugs?
I am also interested in this!

I think that would be the easiest solution.
Still waiting for Sig to release the Circle/Dot Enclosed. C'mon Sig release it already.
That would be nice!
Kind of a letdown for getting rid of the integrated backup rear sights that the open Romeo X's had. Screw M17 and M18 owners I guess.
I'm sure they will come out with a version that placates this specific want/need
Good old irons, sweet irons. Spend your money on ammo and training, learn to point shoot.
Irons are still the most reliable way to aim a firearm 😊 I don't know about point shooting, but I do agree ammo and training is the most important
