I had a divine dream with Jesus Christ.
I was surrounded by his rainbow light body of green, yellowish orange and maybe red. Like the Padmasambhava light body painting.
This rainbow was all around me and it was super vivid. It felt like love and his presence around me. In the middle, very huge. Hard to describe. Like he was 10 inches from my face but he was actually about meters away and he was big. There was his face, his eyes I couldnt see really. The most visible was his face with beard and mouth. Eyes were like white and maybe glowing.
He was speaking to me in such a beautiful language i couldnt understand. Maybe something like latin or hebrew?
Everytime he spoke, my whole body got goosebumps. I felt the goosebumps in real life as well in the dream. Like divine goosebumps. Super vivid. Its hard to remember the whole experience. But he must have given my his blessings and darshan and I love and revere him so much for this. When the dream/vision faded away I had beautiful dreams after with sunny days. And a POV of jesus resurrecting with the message of non duality.
I had full faith in him after that.

    Very interesting story.
I quote the words jesus said.
'Blessed are the pure in spirit for they shall see god"
So christ lives in every one seeking a pure heart.
Jesus also said "every time you did it to the least of my brotheren, you did it me.
The essence of God is love. Whether hindu or chiristian or muslim or any other religion. As Indians we have a unique identity in the whole world. lets love everyone as brothers & sisters without divisions in caste, cummunity, language, culture & religion.

Ravindhran, in your other comment you said only Jesus can give the eternal life, such exclusive claims are the root for friction in the name of religion. Question is, if the pure in spirit is following a Hindu tradition (or any other religious tradition), would they see God? We say yes, Think about it. How can a loving father God send Billions of People to Hell? just because they have not heard about Jesus Christ? When thinking logically many Christian church claims do not stack up to scrutiny. He could have rather taught about Hinduism like hindus believe that he spent his years of (12-30)age in India. Yes unfortunately Protestant theology does not have Justin Martyr who said that because Socrates and Heraclitus had access to the Logos they were Christians before Christ. And the person who wrote the Psalms were Christians before Christ.
So from that you conclude that all who have a Logos teaching, an inspired Spiritual teaching are also Christian.
And another religion who acknowledges Krishna or Buddha could make a similar conclusion.
We don’t need the division, we need to learn from one another, and seek out the real teachers and real teachings of the heart and spirit and logos.

The priest said it takes people 30 years at least to reach that state. Obviously Ramakrishna was already a spiritual professional so he could easily summit any religion quickly.

As sir with regards to your doubts about historical Jesus, this has been a perennial problem since the time when people wanted to disprove his authenticity. Such people fear that people will start following Jesus if they know the truth and the truth will set them free. They fear that their shops will close. I believe sir, you have listened to more debates of doubts about Jesus' historicity rather than see crystal clear facts and evidences that point to his historicity. Would suggest you to read "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel who set out to disprove the same thing your saying.

I have been wondering how Ramakrishna studied the life of Jesus and what books he might have read. Probably much different than how i was taught in Lutheran sunday school in Iowa, lol. To note, i went to Iowa State college where there is a Swami Vivekananda house and reading about Ramakrishna gave me some insight about Jesus. In Ramakrishna's time, perhaps i was a fly on the wall or something.
Iowa State Register December 3, 1893)
"Swami Vivekananda, the Hindu monk, spoke three times in Des Moines. During his stay in the city, which was happily prolonged by the cancellation of engagements farther west, Vivekananda met many of the best people in the city, who found their time well spent discussing religious and metaphysical questions with him. But it was woe to the man who undertook to combat the monk on his own ground, and that was where they all tried it who tried it at all. His replies came like flashes of lightning, and the venturesome questioner was sure to be impaled on the Indian’s shining intellectual lance. The workings of his mind, so subtle and so brilliant, so well stored and so well trained, sometimes dazzled his hearers, but it was always a most interesting study. He said nothing unkind, for his nature would not permit that. Those who came to know him best found him the most gentle and loveable of men, so honest, frank, and unpretending, always grateful for the many kindnesses that were shown him. Vivekananda and his cause found a place in the hearts of all true Christians."

There is one problem with this. As per vedanta, god appears in the form of your ishta devata. So if my ishta devata is some imaginary person who never existed, but who I worship as God, then god can appear to me in that form irrespective of whether this person existed or not. This is purely due to the concentration of the mind on the form of the istha devata.

@@vickyquackk7851 The issue is Christian religion has created a foreclosure on God-man teachers, Hinduism has not.
This has had a positive and negative functioning in culture. On the one hand it makes it taboo of false prophets, or for someone mistaking themselves as God in a profane way, but on the other hand it has closed the door on other great teachers, Jesus and only Jesus.
And unfortunately in Christianity today you get very conservative who takes all things literally and often weird materialistic interpretations. And you get liberal Christianity which might be more open but is often very afraid of spiritual euphoria, because they want it all rational.
Christianity IMO needs to learn to understand Hinduism and Buddhism.
Or perhaps Christianity can learn from Carl Jung or Paul Tillich to open up these possibilities.
But the Jesus monopoly is a problem. In most profane form it creates the worst religious chauvinism.

What about all the Hindu sages and saints who experienced God differently than Jesus Christ? Why shoud we disregard all the experiences and learning of thousands of Hindu sages and saints?
We do not agree with this, exclusivism is very visible in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all three of these religions are saying only our path is right path to God, rest have Got it wrong, When you examine them you will find even when they have 1 prophet 1 book, they will still have many different sectarian movements within their own tradition, Christianity has more than 200 different sects, Similarly ISlam has also many sects, Why is this happening even within the religions with 1 main book and 1 prophet? because we are all different and the way we approach spirituality (God) will be different hence you see many different sectarian movement within each religion and you see many different religions. How would Ramakrishna respond to this question? Here is what he said Following is From Gospel of ramakrishna www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/gospel/volume_1/volume_1.htm BRAHMO DEVOTEE: "Sir, why are there so many different opinions about the nature of God? Some say that God has form, while others say that He is formless. Again, those who speak of God with form tell us about His different forms. Why all this controversy?" MASTER: "A devotee thinks of God as he sees Him. In reality there is no confusion about God. God explains all this to the devotee if the devotee only realizes Him somehow. You haven't set your foot in that direction. How can you expect to know all about God? "Listen to a story. Once a man entered a wood and saw a small animal on a tree. He came back and told another man that he had seen a creature of a beautiful red colour on a certain tree. The second man replied: 'When I went into the wood, I also saw that animal. But why do you call it red? It is green.' Another man who was present contradicted them both and insisted that it was yellow. Presently others arrived and contended that it was grey, violet, blue, and so forth and so on. At last they started quarrelling among themselves. To settle the dispute they all went to the tree. They saw a man sitting under it. On being asked, he replied: 'Yes, I live under this tree and I know the animal very well. All your descriptions are true. Sometimes it appears red, sometimes yellow, and at other times blue, violet, grey, and so forth. It is a chameleon. And sometimes it has no colour at all. Now it has a colour, and now it has none.' "In like manner, one who constantly thinks of God can know His real nature; he alone knows that God reveals Himself to seekers in various forms and aspects. God has attributes; then again He has none. Only the man who lives under the tree knows that the chameleon can appear in various colours, and he knows, further, that the animal at times has no colour at all. It is the others who suffer from the agony of futile argument. "Kabir used to say, The formless Absolute is my Father, and God with form is my Mother.' "God reveals Himself in the form which His devotee loves most. His love for the devotee knows no bounds. It is written in the Purana that God assumed the form of Rama for His heroic devotee, Hanuman. "The forms and aspects of God disappear when one discriminates in accordance with the Vedanta philosophy. The ultimate conclusion of such discrimination is that Brahman alone is real and this world of names and forms illusory. It is possible for a man to see the forms of God, or to think of Him as a Person, only so long as he is conscious that he is a devotee. From the standpoint of discrimination this 'ego of a devotee' keeps him a little away from God.
John 14:6"Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We humbly disagree, God can't be a cruel monster who will condemn to hell anyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ. Do watch our video on " Do all religions lead to the same God" here and ponder over it ua-cam.com/video/2YHQ5ocleRA/v-deo.html

@@HinduAcademy I am Christian and I agree with your statement. In order for Christians to understand this they need to understand early Christianity and what was said. In one statement by Justin Martyr he said „We have designated Jesus as the Logos“ meaning they have concluded 100 years after Jesus died that he was God.
They also forget that there were other teachers who were called God-man Pythagoras, Empedocles, Plato.
So perhaps a Greek Orthodox might make the link, but many Protestants don’t understand.
The issue is the Gospel of John calls Jesus the Logos, the embodiment of divine order itself. And all others may have access to the Logos but are not the Logos.
So it is difficult to make a bridge in Christianity, but it is very important to make it.
But if Logos is the spiritual truth then people should be curious of other speakers of the spiritual truth.
Otherwise they just create a religion of ignorance.
Hopefully Christianity can create a bridge of understanding.

I don’t believe the color of The Son of God is relevant, but historians believe Jesus Christ was Black or Brown skinned. Although there are some Jews that claim that Jesus's natural father was probably a Roman military officer. Still he would not be a blond white man with long hair. The white European Jesus was a creation of Renaissance era European artists.

If Jesus could have just chose to come to earth as a purple man maybe people would not get into skin color arguments.

So if he worships an imaginary form of god that never existed, snd succeds, god will appear in that imaginary form(he dwells upon reality and imagination alike; by the virtue of omnipresence.)

Believe it or not, in one of the Hindu scriptutes (Bhagavad Gita if I'm not wrong) there was a passage venerating a god born of a virgin and being put to death on a tree. Could this be Jesus? Every religion has a calling. It all comes from one. It's just that not all knows how to find the way. But in Christianity, we studied that it is not us who is searching for God but God who is searching for us.

Here is what he said
Following is From Gospel of ramakrishna www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/gospel/volume_1/volume_1.htm
BRAHMO DEVOTEE: "Sir, why are there so many different opinions about the nature of God? Some say that God has form, while others say that He is formless. Again, those who speak of God with form tell us about His different forms. Why all this controversy?"
MASTER: "A devotee thinks of God as he sees Him.
Now it has a colour, and now it has none.'
"In like manner, one who constantly thinks of God can know His real nature; he alone knows that God reveals Himself to seekers in various forms and aspects. God has attributes; then again He has none. Only the man who lives under the tree knows that the chameleon can appear in various colours, and he knows, further, that the animal at times has no colour at all. It is the others who suffer from the agony of futile argument.
"Kabir used to say, The formless Absolute is my Father, and God with form is my Mother.'
"God reveals Himself in the form which His devotee loves most.

I believe there is a contradiction that is missed in the video. The thought of sin annoyed Sri Ramakrishna. He didn't like it to be told as so lucid in the Bible. It could be stated that Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Vivekananda, later, were opposed to the fact that man should be called a sinner. However, sin was the realization that Jesus wanted the people to have in order to repent and return to God. Sin had become an integral part of man which took him away from God and made him wicked. Jesus never minced his words regarding it. He wanted sinners to repent and reconcile with God. But Sri Ramakrishna is seemingly annoyed and opposed to it. Now, coming to the vision that Sri Ramakrishna has, it seems to believe the fact that Jesus entered him and dwelt in him. How could Jesus enter a person who had so much misgivings on one of Jesus' main teachings? Or was it someone Sri Ramakrishna misunderstood with Jesus? If it was indeed Jesus, as misunderstood, probably Jesus wanted Sri Ramakrishna to understand the concept of sin and repent, to know Jesus better. However, sadly it was not to be until the end.

    • @Bodhi518
      @Bodhi518 2 роки тому +1

I wonder if Sri Ramakrishna was annoyed about the focus on sin because it sounded negative towards people and perhaps he was living a holy life and didn’t like the “catholic guilt” ? Imagine if you’re living a decent life and not causing harm but I tell you you’re bad and will never be good enough etc? I personally think it’s a beautiful story that brought me close to God, but I can maybe understand how the law and knowledge of good and evil condemns and seperates from God under the law
I think the Law was given because wickedness was on the earth… Genesis 6:5
Galatians 3:19 says the Law was given because of transgressions.
And romans 3:20 says, “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.”

Here is a distinction. Sin as a word meant „missing the mark“ in Hinduism and Buddhism the emphasis is on ignorance vs enlightenment.
Ignorance and Sin are similar ideas.
And even in Greek the word Logos means reason, ethical reason, the divine order of the universe. So Jesus in Christian is the Logos, in Gospel of John.
So Jesus also cures people of ignorance. Because he is the Logos.
They are similar concepts ignorance and sin.

It looks like this video was cut short and can be misleading. Jesus (Saint Issa) lived in India for 18 years (from age 12 - 30) as a Hindu monk and then as a Buddhist monk as well. Sri Ramakrishna, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Swami Brahmananda and few other Hindu saints considered Saint Issa as their own. Sri Ramakrishna first had a vision of Saint Issa at Vashishta Guha (cave) in Rishikesh not as a Christian god but rather as a Hindu Saint, where Saint Issa lived for sometime. Knowing this, all these swamis thought of Jesus as their own and their predecessor Hindu Saint. Jesus lived in Govardhan Matt (Puri), Benaras, Himis Buddhist monastery in Tibet. Saint Issa's Kriya yoga guru is Mahavtar Babaji. He went back to his birthplace to spread Hinduism. If you read the bible verses and predictions, you will see many similarities () between this and Bhagvat Gita; some of lines are word to word translation. Romans twisted all these to create a new religion - Christianity. After Crucification, Jesus made his way back to Himalayan region. He spent his last days in Kashmir. There is a Shrine in Kashmir. In present Pakistan, there is a small hut where Jesus lived for a short time meditating.
