Hindu Academy aims to promote a Comprehensive and Rational vision of Hinduism incorporating ideas of Religious Pluralism, Spiritual Humanism, and resonance between Science and Spirituality. It operates with the education establishments by working with schools colleges and universities as well as in the mainstream media.
The role and relevance of Hinduism in contemporary society
Hinduism has a great deal to contribute towards the spiritual health of the modern world. Its inherent pluralistic teachings offer the best resolution to how people of different religions can co-exist peacefully in a multi-faith society. Hinduism even allows for spirituality to be explored in non-religious modes, making teachings relevant and interesting for the youth of today. Family values promoted by Hinduism can foster more stable family units and better community cohesion. The reconciliation between the truth claims of a science-oriented worldview and a religiously oriented worldview is obligatory in this century. The Hindu Academy invokes findings at the cutting edge of modern sciences to promote this reconciliation.

Hindus have a problem with the church and the conversions and with the slave masters still standing even expanding their kingdom Vatican appointing its ministers and funding commissions for more covert attacks on indigenous cultures till this day. It's still running the game of supremacy by way of conversions and eventually getting a state control of native temple wealth atleast in India.

There is a historical person whose name was Jesus Christ, then the theological version of Jesus Christ whose correlation with historical Jesus is the permanent struggle amongst Christian theologians and biblists. There is also the version of Christ in Judaism, Islam and Hinduism. When you are talking about the Church, which Church? Anglicans? Catholics? Baptists? Orthodoxs? Reformats? Lutherans? This guy IS a guru! If there's a way, it's Hinduism I feel like, since Hinduism is without such ego-centric strictness such as dogmas and churches. The way I discovered God was very similar to a Hindu way; I just saw one and it was all-encompassing and all things. I cannot get along with Christians too well because of their rigidness, though I myself feel I met Jesus later but still run into the same problems. I'd love a faith community but no such one for me exists at least in the West. I worship on my own and try to let Jesus guide me. I am trying to get back to my roots.

Hi. There is only one Church that Jesus Christ founded, by teaching and appointing some of his followers (disciples) to become apostles (meaning the ones who are sent; by him). The apostles’ task is chiefly to spread the message that Jesus told them about. He forces no one to choose him though, and neither should we force others to do that. It is true that the Church has suffered greatly and been scattered as many other churches due to protests related to teaching (doctrines) and authority, but it still subsists. To be Christian means not only accepting him by baptism, but also agreeing to follow the way (the life) of Christ, not to follow our own subjective idea of who he might be. The beatitudes, that the person speaks of, are central to the way of Jesus Christ. Dogmas are certain teachings that are formally defined by the faith. Try to listen to Bishop Robert Barron, and see if what he says interests you. He is a good one. God bless.

@@Olivier1 How will you know that you are not believing in one of the "scattered" churches? If you believe in god, do you even need a church to believe in too? I believe God said in the bible "seek and you will find, ask and you will receive". But if christians and pastors say "you cannot "question" god", then without asking(questioning), i suppose we will not receive. So could it be ok, for other religions(including atheism and science) to exist, as a form of "asking"? I believe it is, but only if we all admit that we are never "knowing" only believing. This is what I want to ask god, is believing he exists good enough? Or do we have to say we "know", because im not sure we can say this? And if all we need, is to believe he exists, then why is there baptism, being saved, eucharist, prayers, going to church, pastors, commandments, and so on? Does he want us to believe, or does he want us to lie? I just don't understand

I do not know about hinduism. If you get baptized with water, and according to the name of God, it leaves a permanent mark that you belong to Jesus Christ. As a Catholic, I would recommend that you look up an RCIA course in your region, so you understand what you are choosing. There is an element of faith and a firm decision to turn away also that are needed. To sin is to do things that can eventually separate one from God. May the peace of God be with you.

Who is god ?
A person who created the world and also called by several name like bhagwan, rabb , allah and yehweh . If you say Jesus is god , their will be no logic .

A simple example might involve personal space. Many people in America don't want you to stand as close to them in public as is acceptable in other countries. It makes us very uncomfortable.

You don’t need the Catholic Church to find Jesus and have communion with his Holy Spirit. In fact the Catholic Church has been wrong on many doctrines concerning the Christian religion.
I am glad you said you are attracted to the person of Christ. Let me share
with you information about who he is and what he came to do here.
The Bible says that before the world was created, there was the “Word” of God. The Word was with God and the Word was God. Because of the Word all things in existence both visible and invisible came to exist. Because the Word IS God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among human beings as one of their own by: the Word of God is Jesus Christ.
He came to earth and lived in the most insignificant and weakest nation in the world: the Jews in the land of Israel. The Jews had nothing to give and share with the world except the knowledge of the One True God who created all things. Their prophets foretold that one day God would come to live with man as one of the own. So Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of these prophecies.
Jesus’ mission is summarized by this: mankind is sinful and is in a states of enmity with God. Because God is pure and no sinner can stay in God’s presence. without God’s presence our spirit is impure; and if we die like this we die condemned and go to hell.
So Jesus Christ came to die a humiliating death to pay for the sins of the world. He paid the propitiation for the sins of the entire world. So in this way all those who believe in Him will not be seen as impure in the eyes of Gos. They will be loved by god as his children and beloved servants.
Come to him and be adopted by God as his daughter.

I'm Brazilian, and as you know, Brazil is the largest Christian nation in the world. However, here Christianity preaches intolerance in all forms. Here we have misogyny, racial prejudice, prejudice against sexual freedom, prejudice against other religions... I was born into a Christian home, and to this day I remember when my paternal grandmother made my father break a statue of Buddha. I was nine years old and that event shocked me. So I started asking questions from an early age, I looked for other readings, I heard other opinions. Today, I follow Hinduism, and I would not exchange the grace of Krishna, or the compassion of Shiva, the humility and wisdom of Ganesha for anything in this world. I felt like I came out of darkness to find the light, I came out of ignorance to find wisdom. There is no truth when it is imposed by force, iron and fire. This "truth" becomes ideology. Since the inquisition is over, today no one will be burned at the stake for not being Christian. So I will choose to be free. Christianity is the religion of the system, it is a spirituality imposed through force. Today, they can no longer persecute, torture and kill. But they still despise and judge human beings, in addition to demonizing all other religions. Christianity never left the middle ages.
    HAR HAR MAHADEV 🕉 🙏

Hi there. Jesus pre-dates heaven and earth - he came down from heaven and became man. He isn’t a created thought, but he called himself the Son of God, thus making himself of the same nature as the creator of life. The jews indeed understood it this way - blasphemy to them, that he was claiming to be equal to God, and that’s one of the reasons they had him crucified. The Church was established by Christ, and is the new ark of Noah. Noah’s ark was built to protect Noah’s family when the floods would come to sweep away the wicked. What were then floods, are now experienced as sufferings that the Church is to go through while protecting its members, on the way to himself. It is à simplified idea of what Jesus’ plan is. Also notice that Churches are built in a way that resembles a ship. Look at the roofs from inside, if you get the chance one day. The bird metaphor may have been part of Jesus’ baptism, whereby God the Father sent the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, to designate him being his son. The Church is an entity composed of people baptized into Christ. The building is where we go to celebrate mass, as he had instructed before he died on the cross and resurrected. The Church cannot be separated/ divorced from Christ, as the person is suggesting. He’d be denying himself and abandoning all his efforts as redeemer. God bless.

    2. The Gospel is not the biography of Jesus in the strict sense of today. Its purpose is to represent His teaching and the reason of the foundation of the Church. I am amazed. No one reads the Bible in the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek languages, but is talking about alterations in the text. No one reads the Christian Patrology, gnostic scriptures, no one even learns the history of the early Church, but dares say that they know better about Jesus' original teaching than those Christian fellows who lived just after Christ. I am not even talking about studying the Christian theology which is not a question-answer style book called Catechism for little kids.

People who follow one major religion and condemn any other major religion don't understand the scriptures of their own religion because they all hold the same fundamental truth. I was telling my mom today about a guy on TBN conflating New Age belief with the occult and Eastern religions. Ironically he is correct if New Age means Mayan but he doesn't know anything about any of these things and what he thinks about the Bible is the opposite of what it says. He thinks the Bible is about finding out what is wrong with the world when it's really about finding where our individual view of the world is mistaken. We find repentance by being in the Spirit on the Lord's day as clearly stated on the first page of the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St John which means exactly what it says it means as in becoming aware of the Atman who is Jesus as the faithful witness and first begotten of the dead which is our ego and is clearly stated in Revelation 1-5. It couldn't be more clear that the book of Revelation... is about seeking within but most "christians" act as though you are speaking in a foreign language when you point out what is clear as day in the scriptures they claim absolute devotion to but their knowledge is a testament to the fact that their faith is in vain which means for their personal benefit. It's kinda funny and I can't say much because I used to not understand what the Bible meant either but I did think what people told me it said was obviously nonsense, like God creating someone and then sending them to burn for eternity, Eternity!!! I said, Count me out, I'm giving away my Jerry Falwell tapes and hoping for the best. I realize I point fingers at the finger pointers but in my defense I'm still in correspondence with the seven churches, to use some occult humor. 🤗

What Western science discovered in the last 100 years, Hindus discovered thousands of years ago (chakras/endocrine system). Some paganistic aspects of Hinduism are unappealing at first, but if they'd just listen to the full story they'd see a very powerful, unshakable truth that can tolerate them, not the other way around.

Please, here is some question: I always wonder why Christians claim Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice.
But as I see it, he Jesus is still there (people pray to him), and was dead only for 3 days. So, what he offered was his human body? So what kind of sacrifice is that for a god to offer his mortal body which he is capable of create himself endless times? To me, the sacrifice seems much more touching if Jesus was a true human. What is the logic? Thanks for any answers.

Jesus was a true human he had a human body just cause God can recreate himself many times doesn't mean that when he becomes a human he doesn't feel pain. If you read the bible you will the amount of physical pain that Jesus went through up to his crucifixion and no human in this world would be able to endure that much pain they would pass out well before. So Jesus suffered that much physical pain as a replacement for human sins and evilness. Yes Jesus was God but in the human form he would have felt pain like every other human.

Two things to keep in mind: original sin, and the divinity of Christ. Original sin is historical, but also evidenced in our experience of gratuitous moral evil (wars, the rich oppressing the poor, etc.), which unchecked leads to eternal damnation - just like an untreated cancer will metastasize and lead to death. Ancient Jews lived in a culture that believed sin could be expiated by animal sacrifice, and God appropriated that to His own purposes (thence the term, "scapegoat"; for more details read Leviticus 16); Jesus, in case you weren't aware, was(/is) a Jew and also a part of this culture. He is called the Lamb precisely because He performed this role not just for the Jews of the time, but for every human being who ever lived and will live. The gesture is not merely symbolic, though - and as harrowing an experience it was, its significance lies not so much in the ordeal, but on the fact Jesus is God Himself. 'God', here, is not the same thing as the Hindu gods; if the latter exist, it's because God made them. In short, what we mean by 'God' is basically the ground of existence; if it helps for you to get an idea, it is close to the Hindu concept of 'Brahman'. Here is the significance, then: the Crucifixion was the ultimate Holocaust - God Himself died, so that we may live.

Here is my answer to many comments below, and if any more please do tell me... Christ is God and savior himself who became flesh and came down towards us through Virgin Mary.....He was present before and after the creation and he is one in the Holy Trinity, the basic belief of a Christian... If u ask me why he did not come during the old testament, God who is present as 1 in 3 and 3 in 1, had sent a number of prophets whenever the world left the right path kept by God. But since the world further went on towards darkness, God, the father sent his only begotten son Jesus, so that he will be the light to all in darkness, he suffered and died on Calvary so that all who believes in him shall have remission of all sins and have eternal life, which was promised by Christ himself. So just liking Jesus is just half part of what is to be done. The other part is that they must confess and believe Christ as their savior because that is what God our Father wants us to do. And the church is only based on this doctrine.
If God wills I will be pleased to explain your doubts, so do feel free to ask me

@@HinduAcademy Actually the Christianity does not say that. For the first one is obliged to listen to one’s own conscience as it is His voice inside everyone. If your conscience tells you do not believe in Jesus, you shall not believe in Him and you shall be saved by Him/S. Thomas Aquinas the XIIIth century. That’s the paradox. I cannot give the exact reference where he says that, but probably you will find this somewhere in his Summa Theologica. On another hand if someone had realised that Jesus is the greatest and ultimate Truth and didn’t accept Him (for ex. not willing to change a sinful lifestyle), then there is no salvation for such a man. I assume, that Hinduism says the same: there is no salvation for whom knows and does not do what is right (dharma) until he changes his way of acting which is a profound heart’s conversion (gr. metanoía). Before one accepts or rejects Jesus, one should look for Him and learn about Him. If you think that something is a poison, you can’t accept it until you know what it is.

@@HinduAcademy In order to address the question of a loving God sending someone to hell, we need to define a few terms and correct a few wrong assumptions. Our definitions must be biblical, and our assumptions must be correct.
We must first define the term loving God. This phrase assumes some things about God, and answering the question at hand according to flawed assumptions leads to wrong conclusions. Our culture defines a “loving God” as a completely non-confrontational being who tolerates anything we want to do. But that is not a biblical definition. First John 4:16 says that God is love. That means that He does not possess love as we do; He is the very definition of love and therefore cannot do anything that is unloving. The law of non-contradiction states that something cannot be both true and untrue at the same time. So, if God IS love, then He cannot be at the same time unloving.
So the first fallacy present in the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” is the idea that allowing people to go to hell is an unloving act on God’s part. If we humans decide that God is somehow wrong to allow unrepentant sinners to pay their deserved penalty, then we have declared that we are more loving than God is. We have set ourselves up as God’s judge and jury and in doing so have closed the door to deeper understanding. Therefore, the first step in answering this question is to agree with Scripture that God IS love; therefore, everything He does is an expression of that perfect love.
The second fallacy presented by the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” concerns the word send, which denotes an action only on the part of the sender. If a man sends a letter, sends a request, or sends a gift, all action was done by that man. No action was taken on the part of the letter, request, or gift. However, this understanding of the word send cannot be applied to the question at hand because God has given human beings freedom to participate in their life choices and eternal destinations (John 3:16-18). The way this question is worded implies that, if anyone goes to hell, it is the result of God’s unilateral action, and the person being sent to hell is a passive victim. Such an idea completely disregards the personal responsibility God has entrusted to each of us.
“How can a loving God send someone to hell?” The entire question is wrong. A better wording is “If God is love, then why do some people go to hell?” Romans 1:18-20 lays the foundation for the answer: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (emphasis added).
There are several key points in this passage that give us glimpses into the heart of God. First is the fact that people actively “suppress the truth.” People have been given enough truth to know and surrender to God, but they refuse it. Self-will wants to deny God’s right to tell us what to do. So, with the truth in front of them, many people turn away and refuse to see it. Atheist Thomas Nagel has said, “It isn’t just that I don’t believe in God and, naturally, hope that I’m right in my belief. It’s that I hope there is no God! I don’t want there to be a God; I don’t want the universe to be like that.”
Second, Romans 1 states that God has “made [God’s nature] plain to them.” In other words, God has taken the initiative to make His truth known to everyone. History has proved this since time began, as every people group has sought some understanding of a Creator to whom they owe allegiance. Such knowledge is an integral part of what it means to be created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Romans 1:20 then says that “people are without excuse.” And to whom would they give such an excuse? The very One who says He has made Himself known to them, if they would only humble themselves and accept such revelations. God judges each of us according to the truth He has given us, and Romans 1 states that we each have enough truth to turn toward rather than away from Him.
When answering the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” another facet of God’s nature comes into play. God is not only love, but He is perfect justice as well. Justice requires adequate payment for crimes committed. The only just punishment for high treason against our perfect Creator is eternal separation from Him. That separation means the absence of goodness, light, relationship, and joy, which are all facets of God’s nature. To excuse our sin would require God to be less than just, and to allow sin-tainted humans into His perfect heaven would render that place less than perfect. That’s why only the perfect Son of God could go to the cross in our place. Only His perfect blood was an acceptable payment for the debt we each owe God (Colossians 2:14). When we refuse Jesus as our substitute, we must pay the price ourselves (Romans 6:23).
God gave us the freedom to choose how we respond to Him. If He forced us to love Him, we would be robots. To give us no option but obedience would be a violation of our free will. Love is only love when it is voluntary. We cannot love God unless we have the option of not loving Him. Because God honors our autonomy, He will never force surrender or loyalty. However, there are consequences for either choice. C. S. Lewis summarizes this truth in his classic work, The Great Divorce: “There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, in the end, ‘Thy will be done.’ All that are in Hell, choose it.”

We do not agree with this, exclusivism is very visible in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all three of these religions are saying only our path is right path to God, rest have Got it wrong, When you examine them you will find even when they have 1 prophet 1 book, they will still have many different sectarian movements within their own tradition, Christianity has more than 200 different sects, Similarly ISlam has also many sects, Why is this happening even within the religions with 1 main book and 1 prophet? because we are all different and the way we approach spirituality (God) will be different hence you see many different sectarian movement within each religion and you see many different religions. How would Ramakrishna respond to this question? Here is what he said Following is From Gospel of ramakrishna www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/gospel/volume_1/volume_1.htm BRAHMO DEVOTEE: "Sir, why are there so many different opinions about the nature of God? Some say that God has form, while others say that He is formless. Again, those who speak of God with form tell us about His different forms. Why all this controversy?" MASTER: "A devotee thinks of God as he sees Him. In reality there is no confusion about God. God explains all this to the devotee if the devotee only realizes Him somehow. You haven't set your foot in that direction. How can you expect to know all about God? "Listen to a story. Once a man entered a wood and saw a small animal on a tree. He came back and told another man that he had seen a creature of a beautiful red colour on a certain tree. The second man replied: 'When I went into the wood, I also saw that animal. But why do you call it red? It is green.' Another man who was present contradicted them both and insisted that it was yellow. Presently others arrived and contended that it was grey, violet, blue, and so forth and so on. At last they started quarrelling among themselves. To settle the dispute they all went to the tree. They saw a man sitting under it. On being asked, he replied: 'Yes, I live under this tree and I know the animal very well. All your descriptions are true. Sometimes it appears red, sometimes yellow, and at other times blue, violet, grey, and so forth. It is a chameleon. And sometimes it has no colour at all. Now it has a colour, and now it has none.' "In like manner, one who constantly thinks of God can know His real nature; he alone knows that God reveals Himself to seekers in various forms and aspects. God has attributes; then again He has none. Only the man who lives under the tree knows that the chameleon can appear in various colours, and he knows, further, that the animal at times has no colour at all. It is the others who suffer from the agony of futile argument. "Kabir used to say, The formless Absolute is my Father, and God with form is my Mother.' "God reveals Himself in the form which His devotee loves most. His love for the devotee knows no bounds. It is written in the Purana that God assumed the form of Rama for His heroic devotee, Hanuman. "The forms and aspects of God disappear when one discriminates in accordance with the Vedanta philosophy. The ultimate conclusion of such discrimination is that Brahman alone is real and this world of names and forms illusory. It is possible for a man to see the forms of God, or to think of Him as a Person, only so long as he is conscious that he is a devotee. From the standpoint of discrimination this 'ego of a devotee' keeps him a little away from God.
John 14:6"Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Wouldn’t it be true that Hindus pick and choose what they like about Jesus? They like the sermon in the Mount, but yet don’t believe he is ‘the way the truth and the life, and that no one comes to the father except through him’, that he is ‘the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world’. While Hindus say he is a god, it would seem they do not believe these claims of exclusivity. It would seem they say both he is god … but also a lying lunatic. Thoughts?

Jesus Christ claimed to be the only creator, master and finisher of the universe.

@@HinduAcademy (1/3) So there are seven points you’ve made here. I appreciate you also returning dialogue even though I respectfully disagree. I believe healthy dialogue is a must to learn and grow so thank you!
      1. Those religions claim exclusivity
Claims to exclusively cannot all be right, so all contain a different view of God.
How do we arrive at the truth about God? We use a systematic methodology that is designed to separate truth from error by using various tests for truth, with the end result being a set of right conclusions. Can you imagine the end results a scientist or doctor would arrive at if he went into the lab and just started mixing things together with no rhyme or reason?
This being the case, why should theology-the study of God-be any different? Why believe it can be approached in a haphazard and undisciplined way and still yield right conclusions? Unfortunately, this is the approach many take, and this is one of the reasons why so many religions exist. That said, we now return to the question of how to reach truthful conclusions about God. What systematic approach should be used? First, we need to establish a framework for testing various truth claims, and then we need a roadmap to follow to reach a right conclusion. Here is a good framework to use:
      1. Logical consistency - the claims of a belief system must logically cohere to each other and not contradict in any way. As an example, the end goal of Buddhism is to rid oneself of all desires. Yet, one must have a desire to rid oneself of all desires, which is a contradictory and illogical principle.
      2. Empirical adequacy - is there evidence to support the belief system (whether the evidence is rational, externally evidential, etc.)? Naturally, it is only right to want proof for important claims being made so the assertions can be verified. For example, Mormons teach that Jesus visited North America. Yet there is absolutely no proof, archaeological or otherwise, to support such a claim.
      3. Existential relevancy - the belief system should address the big questions of life described below and the teachings should be accurately reflected in the world in which we live.
Hinduism doesn’t pass all these test, especially of point 2 of the Hindu Gods actually existing. Islam loses out at logical consistency as well. After strategic analysis we are only left with the bigger faiths that claim to all project from the bible, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
      2. How Can Christianity have different secs but claim to have a unified faith?
What do these secs disagree over? The rise of denominations within the Christian faith can be traced back to the Protestant Reformation, the movement to “reform” the Roman Catholic Church during the 16th century, out of which four major divisions or traditions of Protestantism would emerge: Lutheran, Reformed, Anabaptist, and Anglican. From these four, other denominations grew over the centuries.
The Lutheran denomination was named after Martin Luther and was based on his teachings. The Methodists got their name because their founder, John Wesley, was famous for coming up with “methods” for spiritual growth. Presbyterians are named for their view on church leadership-the Greek word for “elder” is presbyteros. Baptists got their name because they have always emphasized the importance of believers’ baptism. Each denomination has a slightly different doctrine or emphasis from the others such as the method of baptism, the availability of the Lord’s Supper to all or just to those whose testimonies can be verified by church leaders, the sovereignty of God vs. free will in the matter of salvation, the future of Israel and the church, pre-tribulation vs. post-tribulation rapture, the existence of the “sign” gifts in the modern era, and so on. The point of these divisions is never Christ as Lord and Savior, but rather honest differences of opinion by godly, albeit flawed, people seeking to honor God and retain doctrinal purity according to their consciences and their understanding of His Word.

      (2/3)
      3. You assume that all adapt their own truth of the one true faith (pluralism)
Either one religion is right, or all are wrong. IF two religions claim truth, simply testing these truths is what is needed!
      4. God can’t be a cruel monster and condemn all to hell for not believing in Jesus.(Will explain in point 7)
      5. Exclusive is the friction in all of this.
This is True! Jesus literal caused and spent a life in conflict with the religious Pharisees. He said and I quote “Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. 52 For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three….” Luke 12:51-53 Also in Matthew 10 he said, r“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. sI have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 rFor I have come tto set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
So when you claim you love Jesus but don’t like the Church, shows that you don’t like Him because they simply do what He tells us to do. To be Holy is to be separated not unified with the world. God in the Old Testament purposely separated Israel from all nations and He is still doing this through Jesus with all who believe in Him today.
      6. You references the beatitude. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” in Matthew 5:6 let’s interpret that within its proper context, before we twist our own meaning.
What did Jesus mean by this? Being pure in heart involves having a singleness of heart toward God. A pure heart has no hypocrisy, no guile, no hidden motives. The pure heart is marked by transparency and an uncompromising desire to please God in all things. It is more than an external purity of behavior; it is an internal purity of soul.
The only way we can be truly pure in heart is to give our lives to Jesus and ask Him to do the cleansing work. Psalm 51:10 says, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” God is the one who makes our hearts pure - by the sacrifice of His Son and through His sanctifying work in our lives (see also 1 John 3:1-3).

      (3/3)
      7. How can a loving God send billions to hell? Great question. (Same as the 4th point)
Also to help you understand the seriousness of sin, let's take lying in different scenarios
I lie to my kid, nothing happens.
I lie to my wife, I sleep on the couch tonight.
I lie to the government, I go to jail.
I lie to God, I go to hell.
In the end, again Jesus is the way the truth and the life. HE is God, come down in human flesh to atone for the sins of the world John3:16-17. The people who wrote these letters, physically saw him live, die and appear again. Paul even goes on to say if Christ did not rise from the dead our faith is meaningless(1 Corinthians 15:17) So the question is, who do you believe? The myths and traditions or the eye witness accounts grounded in evidence and reality. If Christ truly rose from the dead, which He did, I would drop everything and follow his words. Believe and follow Christ and Repent and have your sins washed away. Muhammad is dead, Confucius is dead, Buddha is dead, but Christ Rose again and they died getting you that message. I would think about this in all humility.

The universe is not inside you, You are inside the universe. Pople have coined the term -"SPIRIT" but there is no clear definition of it. The ability to comprehend and understand the surrounding may be called as awareness and Your Synchronisation with the things outer to you May be called as the SPIRIT. SPIRIT can not be an entitiry at least in the pragmatic world. It Can only be a process.

I have a Hindu friend and she identifies as a Hindu Christian and she loves Jesus and God. 💕 She believes the gods of the world are exalted spirits God made into lower level gods. They aren’t true gods because they hold no true power. Any power they have comes from Heavenly Father. I’m a Christian LDS Spiritualist so my beliefs are similar but not the same. I grew up Mormon so I believe in multiple gods.

I will pray for you to truly find Christ and not be so confused at to what you are. From reading this comment it sounds like you’re trying to row multiple boats at the same time and have no idea which one to go into, just rowing across.
There is no such thing as being a Hindu Christian, that’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard. You claim to be a Christian LDS - with no idea as to who Christ really is, what it’s like to have a relationship with him, and what he’s done for you. I’ll pray for you don’t worry

The religion does not stand up to rationale thinking..It does not seem reasonably that a loving god.would create a very unequal race..with only one lifetime.....to decide whether a person goes to "heaven"....or "burn eternally in hell"..Secondly, it seem very unreasonable that God would punish the human race for eternity.....just because his own creation..Eve ..fell into the trap set by God himself..by creating the forbidden apple...If the engine of a car malfunctions..we don't blame the car.....we blame the manufacturer....Lots more, but I will stop here..

I worship and love lord Krishna too.... and I feel God's presence so close to me.... I thought we can't join two different boats but I feel God's presence so close to me... 🥺 I feel his Love...... but nowadays I'm sad because I got to realise that I can't do baptism because I'm a hindu.... I gave my life to My Lord Jesus and Lord Krishna... so I like to be hindu.... But still I Love lord jesus and it's really working fine in my life.... Many people think it's weird but I feel like God accepted the way I serve him ❤️

If u r a hindu u can indipendently worship christ but the moment u turn into christian u can't pray to lord krishna , because even though christ was great let me tell as an ex-christian , churches r corrupt, they brainwash people to convert , they force them and etc i am also krishna's bhakt and the kind of independence i enjoy in hinduism is nowhere, everything is so scientific about this dharma but u know i can't leave jesus , he is my mentor and my father and krishna is his father...so i pray to both....

welcome to the family Manyu :) The Bible says that God chooses you, and that this is love: not that we loved God, but that God loves you. It means that the Lord Himself has been pulling you to Him, and isn't that wonderful?
Jesus also taught that He is the only way, the truth, and the life, and that nobody comes to the Father except through Him.
I would encourage you to get a Bible as soon as you can, and to read the book of John. Take care & God bless!

Maryjo, We do not agree with this, exclusivism is very visible in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all three of these religions are saying only our path is right path to God, rest have Got it wrong, When you examine them you will find even when they have 1 prophet 1 book, they will still have many different sectarian movements within their own tradition, Christianity has more than 200 different sects, Similarly ISlam has also many sects, Why is this happening even within the religions with 1 main book and 1 prophet? because we are all different and the way we approach spirituality (God) will be different hence you see many different sectarian movement within each religion and you see many different religions.
No one comes to the Father except through me." We humbly disagree, God can't be a cruel monster who will condemn to hell anyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ. Do watch our video on " Do all religions lead to the same God" here and ponder over it ua-cam.com/video/2YHQ5ocleRA/v-deo.html
you said only Jesus can give the eternal life, such exclusive claims are the root for friction in the name of religion. Question is, if the pure in spirit is following a Hindu tradition (or any other religious tradition), would they see God? We say yes, Think about it. How can a loving father God send Billions of People to Hell? just because they have not heard about Jesus Christ? When thinking logically many Christian church claims do not stack up to scrutiny. Jesus Christ categorically asks us to follow Him and Him alone. You cannot follow Jesus Christ and Krishna. Jesus Christ demands 100% renunciation of all other gods. Rama is the preserver of the Dharma, including varna, whiles Jesus Christ requires those who think they are superior or more spiritual than others to serve the "inferior" ones.
    Matthew 23:11
The greatest among you shall be your servant.
    John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

Follow him and him alone. But I’m assuming you believe in the trinity. This trinity being infinite love. It’s going to appear to everyone in the exact same way?
And “the pagans” didn’t mean everyone outside of the jewish circle. Job was not a Jew and yet god saved him.
“No one goes to the father except thru me”… you’re putting such a limited concept on what it means to go “through” Christ

Christianity is very diverse into several denominations with different traditions. What finally unites is the belief in Jesus Christ.
Some denominations emphasize dogmas and rituals more than others. When it comes down to the core of the belief, it’s about having a relation with Jesus without any certain ceremonies in right order to achieve Gods grace. No it’s only by believing with your heart and confession. But it’s sad when Christian’s tend to be judgmental especially since Jesus preached about fixing your own problems first before nagging about others issues before.
Last time I checked the Bible Jesus did not leave for years into the wilderness. No why I he is seemed to be so enlightened is because he is not enlightened at a specific point. No, as the Bible describes He is the son of God. God reincarnated as man to reach to us in a humble way. Since Jesus is God then no “enlightenments” is needed to be achieved else where.

I believe everything that hindus believe come from the fallen angels that were kicked out of heaven. Hindus believe in mysticism and energies and I just can’t accept that as a Christian because they are forces that shouldn’t be played with if you want to live a healthy and stress free life. There is a reason God doesn’t want us to do certain things and Hinduism to me is one of the things those fallen angels teach that God forbids. There’s only one God but Hinduism has many. God is clear that there is only one. And he is clear that there is only one way to heaven and that is Jesus Christ. You don’t reincarnate you either go to hell or heaven when you get judged on judgement day. Can you imagine hitler and all those evil people never receiving punishment in life or death for their horrible crimes they committed. In Hinduism these people
Would be reincarnated now and starting fresh, where is the justice? Nooo, there’s only heaven and hell you’ll all see one day.

I WAS BORN IN A PREDOMINATELY CATHOLIC SOCIETY (MEXICO) BAPTIZED AS A BABY. BUT AS I GREW UP I NOTICED THERE WERE A LOT OF STATUES IN THE CHURCHES. THE STATUES SCARED ME. THERE WERE A LOT OF DOUBTS AND EVERYTHING AROUND ME DID NOT MAKE SENSE. DEEP DOWN I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS I DOING IN THIS WORLD OR HOW IT WAS CREATED, YOU KNOW THE QUESTIONS EVERY HUMAN HAS GOT TO KNOW. WELL, I STARTED STUDYING THE BIBLE, GOING TO DIFFERENT CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS, AND FOUND THAT THEY MOST IF NOT ALL,....WANT MONEY. SO I STAYED AWAY FROM THEM. THEY USE THE BIBLE AND CRIST AS A WAY TO MAKE THEMSELVES RICH.. BE AWARE OF THEM. BUT DO LEARN TO SEPARETE GOD FROM THISE EVIL PEOPLE.
