Imagine being that dude that fail to get the sword
I got the sword, but I didn't realize I didn't save after finding it and died going after the chests and saved after finally opening one.
Fuuuuuu-wait. Wait no... I HAVE the sword! WTF Sadora? You said it was okay!
if i opens the cat boss fight golden casket does it still count as opening a golden casket?
No it does not count as a golden chest. you can safely open the cat boss chest.

Sadora got mad with me after I looted everything and completed the quest, did I flop it???
No once you complete the quest its done. But sadora has a key that you need to open her treasure room, thats why she gets mad and attacks you after you complete the quest. Dont worry you are in the clear:)

@@Emanuelmartins69 haha true but its a small gameing company and is a forgivable design error. The game is otherwise a solid metroidvaina. Just wish in the future that they add more visible skins for the equipment that you cary.

@@gl00w95 i looted all the chests on the way, she attacked me and i killed her, now it says FAILED on her questline, do i have to replay the entire game?
Edit: I also have a save file before i killed her but golden chests are still open!
Is it ok to pick up the gold piles on the ground in that one area where you use goblins riding turtles to activate pressure plates?
Yes i think its ok:) save game before and watch status of the quest in the meny. It should still be active.
is that holy sword necessary for the "true" ending?
What about silver chest ? I see plenty of it
Those are fine. Just dont open any golden ones. A small spoiler, once you complete the quest then you can go back and loot all the golden chests. They will be marked on your map. You can also see the status of the quest in the quest meny. If it is active or failed.
