Produced by Kevin Oeste and V8TV Productions, Inc. - The LS engine platform is constantly evolving, and MSD just pushed it a little farther with the introduction of the new Air Force intake manifolds. These are designed to offer more power and flexibility to engine builders through an improved runner design, integral nitrous oxide nozzle bosses, and more. They also debuted a new intake for the Corvette LT1 engines that fits under the hood of a C7 2014 Corvette!

Just got this for my 99 WS6 cant wait to put it on. Also got SLP air lid And TSP 3" Catback exhaust!
I was up for one of these as I thought it made power over the competitor across the rev range. But looking at the dyno comparo, it only shows good gains from 6,000 rpm onward to around 7,500 rpm. Good for circuit but not much if any gain for a street and weekend warrior car.
I would like to see Dyno comparison with F.A.S.T LSXR MANIFOLD using a stock LS3, LS7 to see more realistic hp/trq gains than on a LPE "ringer" modified motor. This is NOT a accurate comparison imo.
Y’all should make something for the 93-97 LT1!
Any performance intakes for them?
the gasket looks great
+Beryllium You to Becky.
Still deciding if I want this for my Camaro!
i put this on my bone stock LS and now i run 7s
we need stuff like this for modulars, can't keep working with worked over stock stuff
He said that it is pretty, reasonably priced. WHAT? The price of the ls engine to build is ridiculous. $929?
$1,000 worth of (PLASTIC). I'd rather have a Hogan tig welded aluminum manifold for that price.
Will the LT fit a 5.3 L83 ?
Hopefully they aren't as expensive as the fast
1000$ for 10$ worth of material, I understand making profit but damn! plus if you’re DBW another 200-750$ for throttle body! Not to mention rails and injectors...
+Nick Jonze plus the research time to design, develop, test, and create the manufacturing line to make it, source materials, packaging, pay people to make it, ship from plant to retail outlet... there's more than just material costs or we'd all be making them.
V8TV right... but this product and FAST have been on the market for years now....
I'll stick to stock lt-1 SS power is enough for me... thanks.
👍
I like how he says 929 dollars then says stock "increased 18hp"
I'm sold
Would love to get more information on lt 1 1995 impala ss
Warrick Roper that's the whip right there,👍
I paused the video at 4:34, the display reads the new LT1. So I am assuming they mean the LT1 in the C7 vette
Bummer I have a 94 T/A with an LT1
GM screwed us with the 92 LT1. It being full of one off unique specs. And then they screw us a second time by reusing the LT1 label on a completely different engine...
Will these work on a LQ9 engine?
Yessir
Where does the MAP sensor goes on the LS2 version???
Anyone know how much boost this intake can handle?
do you have to tune it?
It's fit for corvette c4 1995 with lt4 hot cam ?
Dear santa.....
How long it will take until the plastic turns brittle and starts leaking vacuum and not working anymore ?
GM, Ford, and Mopar all use this same technology for their modern V8 manifolds with minimal issues.
Yeah i know,i had to spend 700 clams to replace the intake in my 2006 town car that was rotten whereas my 96 town car with 170000 miles never gave me any problems, same engine only difference was the new shitty plastic intake
Almost all manufactures use plastic around intakes and areas where hot coolant flows( dumbass design to save weight and money) and they all have issues with cracking and becoming brittle through normal everyday use.
peter455sd
😂🤣😂
V8TV excuse me don't mean to bother you but quick question.died this intake fit a 5.3 lsx bored to a 5.7?
Gains for a stock LT1??
95 corvette lt1 will it work
Wrong..never did LS3.
Too bad the product they keep bringing to all these shows isn't the same product they're selling. The injection molding here looks clean, but in reality it's very poorly done. The seams are big and ugly, and there are hideous flaws on the back side. Don't bother calling customer service about it, though; they'll just give you some bs about how that's an unavoidable part of that manufacturing process. I know for a fact that's a lie, because hundreds of companies (Magpul, for example) make products using the same process that look a lot better and have no flaws that you can see without a microscope.
On top of that, this "drop-in" product is anything but. For LS1 applications, you'll need to replace the steam ports, fuel rails, injectors (unless you buy a $30 adapter kit for the stock injectors), water pump (or take a grinder to the stock one), and a $30 throttle cable bracket. That's on top of the $900+ they charge you for a poorly engineered, poorly manufactured product!
daaaaa don´t LT1 93-97 ? jajajajaj
yes and no. LT1 is also in the C7 Corvette
18hp gain and spending 1100 bucks, that is not really something I would invest.
got to think about the long run tho, you put a screaming cam in there the power gains would be crazy
Fikret Oz 30 hp over stock , “they claim”
