Watch Steve Magnante tell you about the all new Atomic EFI for LS engines. Steve goes through all the parts and highlights all the features of the system.
This looks like a great system. I'm currently building an LS1 for my Chevelle, and I will definitely be buying this in the near future! I'm sure the extra money spent on this will be well-worth saving me the headache of messing with the factory wiring harness.
I do Ls swaps, its 2600 dollars for this unit vs a realistic 1300 for a PSI harness and fuel system up grade. The price would have to come way down for me to embrace its user friendliness. It's a hard sale for the working man efi swap.
hi guys I have personally installed two of the atamic throttle body systems on 2 good old Aussie muscle cars and while the system does work great it does lack some important peramaters like fuel map through out the entire rev range.with the atomic you can only do idle mid range and WOT setting through experience looking at fuel A/F ratios it doesn't respond to what you have set it up to do especially around mid to high rpm range and that could be costly to your engine Don.t get me wrong this system is great but lacks in some fields take a look at the Haltech system it has so many more options to do full tuning spec but it's not plug and play like Atomic but more benificial to your engine
Does the harness connect all the other engine management sensors or does it run without them? Can i retrofit it into an ls converted mid 90s chevy truck?
Saw this video, got all exited. Started looking for an LS to put into my C20. THEN, I find out you don't sell this anymore. Maybe take down the video so you don't hurt any more feelings.
+tonkatoytruck correct! they didn't make any mention about transmission controls, the best setup is ls(x), or whatever engine you want, mated to the same year trans. then you work your oem harness to do everything from dash to fans.
hi i like how you tell us how to us an msd tools . i have 1990 k5( how mutch coast me all parts that i need to order it from ( msd) becuase i do not like gm (ecm) and the snakes wires i am from ( saudia arabia ) thanks
I gotta admit I wouldn't run a hit wire along side a fuel line cause I ever a shortage and the wire gets hot itll melt the fuel line and u get the rest
+RjLSxc10 MSD says it is NOT DBW capable, regardless of what the video says. I just talked to them. They been promising DBW for 3 years now. Guess they need new engineers...
Bahahaha I'd have paid to see the chevys owner face when he found you had screwed a crummy looking plastic controller to his obvious $30,000 paint job hahaha the burn!!
Are you kidding? Ok there is less wires to mess with sure but $2500 for the setup and then another $200 if you are running a ls7 to mount the fuel rails. Come on i think the little bit of pain it is to mess with all the wires is way better for a back yard garage guy to mess with and install. Who would really spend more then they most likely have in there LS motor just to wire it up. would be awsome if it was not twice what i paid for my car i have LS7 in.
Maybe you won't need to modify this, but if ever need to calculate injector size or determine correct fuel pump capacity for your EFI system, take a look at hotrodderappsdotcom and find "EFI Math" calculator app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices!
Out Of All The Presenters For These Types Of Products This Guys Is Hands Down The Easiest To Listen To.

Mario Gordon do you make stand alone harness also and flash the computer too

Impressive spokesman! You did a great job.
I like this setup, looks good. They know what they're doing
Nice video. This system from Atomic looks great and work perfectly on LS1. Really, thanks for share. :)
This efi system would be great if it wasn't soooo dam expensive. Megasquirt is a fraction of the cost of Atomic.
Impressive! I wish I could get this guy to build/tune my NA 427.
Nothing beats oem stock gm coils for a fraction of the cost!! This system is way more expensive than the average ls swap
better with wire above a hose, any drips at the hose drip to the bottom hence the power wires above give a level of safety my mechanic mentioned
For me enthusiast of mechanics, subtitles would be a perfect explanation! So I could translate it all.
Very nice and smart system!!!
This guy moves his head so much when he talks. It's like he's wiggin' out on some uppers.
its just his "teaching/customer service" voice. i doubt he's like this when hes around friends and family lol
impressive stuff
Which part number do you use for Siemens 80# injectors
wow very nice
Has anyone out there used this? If so, what did you think?
sure wish there was something like this for the 5.9 magnum and the hemi engines, for us mopar guys its all do it yourself and a lot of wiring
nice video very profesional

What if you choose to do forced induction, headers, no cats, LS7, LSX 454, LS9 and etc! Also where is the transmission ecu and can you do any tuning?

Holley sells them now but not as a kit.
Great choice...too expensive! Please find a way to offer rebates or something to drop the price. Thanks.
Looks like the system is a speed density setup, which means no MAF.
Its to bad MS D don’t support the Atomic stuff since Holley bought them out!
What about your gauges in your dash?
Is he related to Peter Griffin?
Is there an application for 2002 Chevy Avalanche 1500 z71?
badd ass!
Is this system compatible with the 5.3 L33 engine?
Where is MAF sensor on a setup like that?
So what controls the transmission?
it doesn't
So the original ECU has to do it or do you have to buy another computer module for the transmission?

Nice video. But I just have to ask why is he whispering. Made it hard to watch.

No mass airflow sensor??
Not required on mapped table systems. Mafless is better.
I gotta admit I wouldn't run a hit wire along side a fuel line cause I ever a shortage and the wire gets hot itll melt the fuel line and u get the rest
this would be perfect for a 98 camaro v6/v8 ls1 swap.
I would buy this if the ECU used DBW for the throttle body. Until then...
+Stan Talago He said in the video it does both...
+RjLSxc10 MSD says it is NOT DBW capable, regardless of what the video says. I just talked to them. They been promising DBW for 3 years now. Guess they need new engineers...
ahh ok so the vid is bullshit
I read it can handle up 1000 hp and forced induction. I believed I'd buy this kit too....lol
i need more 411 on building my ls7
check out my videos, many people are doing this easily. lt1swap(dot)com
must cost a whole ton of money
Bahahaha I'd have paid to see the chevys owner face when he found you had screwed a crummy looking plastic controller to his obvious $30,000 paint job hahaha the burn!!

To expensive , give me a carb , way cheaper system , computer geeks
Suck
***** lol
put this overpriced junk on a dyno compared to a badass holley and see who wins
