Hello there,
Bespin has received some huge graphical changes in comparison to as it was before. Thanks to Ryan Hank Also the animations for clones have been improved since the previous video.
Background buildings now emit light (Same as Coruscant), textures have been updated, the massive dome and city is more detailed than ever.
The interior rooms have also received new lighting and thanks to Sleeepkiller's Shaderpatch, the map now looks more natural and more accurate to the original imagination by Free Radical Design.
Bespin is almost complete as we still have to add in the capital ships and frigates from where units can spawn and take off with starfighters.
The upcoming date for public release is yet to be decided. We will be keeping you updated over the next few weeks.
Future goals for this release include: - Finishing ALL Clone Wars related content (for good) - Finishing ALL Core/Common related content (scripts, hud etc., also for good) - Finishing Cato Neimoidia, Dantooine and Endor - Getting massive work done for the GCW era

Sleepkiller's Shaderpatch is not just recommened but a mandatory addition to have not just better in-game rendering of existing shaders (Including better lighting as seen here) but also allows for the change of team-colors.
[GT]Anakin's Remaster is required to disable the original Swbf2 HUD (At least for the upcoming release), otherwise you will likely experience the infamous "double-HUD-bug".
The final version will also contain the finished GCW era, all Battlefront 3 maps and a full, replicated campaign (with cutscenes) and galactic conquest available to all eras.
This is the most significant Battlefront mod ever made. It almost looks like different game. PROPS to everyone involved in this
man its just so beautiful always breaks the heart to think of what could have been but amazing what you have managed to do so far!
The lighting and shaders are blowing my mind considering all of this is done ON AN OUTDATED ENGINE FROM ALMOST 2 DECADES AGO
this is not getting enough attention at all. You guys are literally about to bring battlefront 3 to life with these next few updates im seeing BRAVO.

The lighting reflections off the blaster bolts just looks great.
It looks soooooo good and none of the CP paths are messed up
You guys have really outdone yourselves here. Looks amazing. The improved lighting really breathes a lot of life into the map.
If you were to release these 3 years ago and told me these were legit gameplays of unreleased og bf3, i would have not only believed but would be in even more anguish considering how i was grieving the lack of this game in our timeline.

This looks amazing with each reveal, I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into developing something like this. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
Though, I have a few questions regarding this mod:
Will the voices and other SFX be overhauled in this mod?
Will the campaign for Battlefront III be developed for this mod?
As seen in the previous releases, the UI looked different. Will it be more polished in future releases?

There is a plan to change/replace voices. As for now this has the least priority.
The OG BF3 campaign is planned to be worked on in 2024.
The HUD/UI has changed a lot over the years. The current one is one of the closest recreations of the OG HUD.
Some elements might improve over time / still need to be added (e.g. weapon icons).
@@El_Fabricio Good to hear that this mod still has a cohesive roadmap going forward.
One more question I mistakingly forgot to mention was the subject of death animations.
The rag-doll physics from the original Battlefront III can’t be replicated in this engine, though the base BF2 animations looks a tad bit stiff with the overhaul in graphics.
Obviously this won’t be a focused aspect until MUCH later in the mod’s development, but is the development team considering a replacement/overhaul of the death animations for this mod?

If rebellion took over the Battlefront series, then I think it’d probably have looked something like this. Looks pretty official, like a last gen ps2 or mobile port for iPads. Impressive work.

@@reddragon3263 A lot of the mod relies on assets Pandemie Studios has created (mostly scripts, configuration files, sounds and music, the engine itself and many, many tools to use).
If Legacy is at its finished state it might have as much content as the original game in terms of eras, maps, game modes.
In terms of size (either in-game and in file size), this mod does surpass what the original game offered (map size, space to ground, number of vehicles, heroes, weapons).
We appreciate a lot what Free Radical Design had created and I am glad their work won't be wasted.
absolutely love all these maps are from the psp games as well... which from what I understand were scrapped concepts of BF3. this is such an insane mod.

The next release is going to be the one differing the biggest from previous releases. It might take at least 1-2 months for a possible release stage (About the Demo-Release. Anything else (maps, campaign, galactic conquest) is planned to be finished around 2024).

The animations look fantastic, beats the clunky feel of the 2005 animations out of the water, that's the problem with this Remaster mod that's in the works, the Animations should have been tuned up as well as they have here, superb work.
Happy to see that free radical assets come in Battlefront 2 to life. This is the least modders can do to honor their job.

GCW Orbital Assault is currently in development and updates regarding about the GCW Era are planned for December.
it’s great but needs fine tuning in the blaster fire lighting. a blaster bolt doesn’t emit that much light try reducing the radius of light around a blaster bolt because there’s a lot of walls turning red/ blue nowhere near the blaster bolts or main fight maybe the surfaces are to reflective as well

Would it be possible to randomly change some of the DC-15S to DC-15A for some of the clones so they can use both weapons?
A different clone unit already has a DC-15A. It has not yet been included for this video.

great video :) i need help getting the mod to work, ive followed all instructions however when i load the game up the battlefront 3 stuff is there but i cant add it to the que of maps to playve ive seen others with the issue but no fix :)
It seems the unofficial patch 1.3 is missing for you.
This is a patch that fixes a couple issues with the game but mostly adds the option for modders to have custom era/mode slots. It also adds Free Camera and Fake Console to the game:

I'm wondering how far the engine can be pushed as far as density goes. Seeing Bespin/Coruscant populated with hundreds of ships and people would be amazing to see, much like the yellow neutral faction in BF1. Has the AI been altered in any way, I think that would be the greatest obstacle in making all of the new stuff work the right way to compliment the gameplay.
There will ne Ugnauts walking around on Bespin.
AI population was not planned and is likely not going to happen for most maps. For camping, a lot of AI stuff and animated people will be added.

My wishlist for this mod:
I hope they lower the height of the crosshair (if possible). I just think vanilla height in Battlefront 2 was far too high making the overwhelming majority of the view aimed at the ground.

How hard would it be to just build off of Battlefront II and make a fan made Battlefont III that is basically the same game but with tons of more shit? Kind of like how BFII is just BFI with tons of new content and gamemodes. Would you need the source code for that?
Why is the fighter lock-on so big?
Some lock-on elements are still not 100% finished.

It is. Multi-player is either supported by Steam or Disk version.

Hmmm what resolution is this? It looks like your AA is turned off.
I only have HD resolution at the moment. That's why it doesn't look as good as it does on a FHD, 4K screen.

@@El_FabricioSo I saw on my games at least that when playing Bespin with galactic civil war boba and Lando would be played by ai but on clone wars only I could play as a hero, the enemy ai hero wouldn’t spawn at all

Would both be awesome if you could hire them, their clone voices are so awesome. Especially the shape shifter with his Temuera Morrison impression would be perfect, especially if there are any written but not voiced lines found from the scrapped battlefront 3.
