Great videos you have so far. Maybe you could brighten up a little the light on yourself. The dark and intimate feeling is nice but often results in just a silhouette. Thanks for the awesome and clearly explained content!
I get so much out of video breakdowns like this. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to more. I would love to see you breakdown "little blue" by Jacob Collier.
I keep watching this.. haha.. I notice when you hear something interesting.. you play it back straight away then analyse what’s chords / progression it is… is this right? A girl in my band had perfect pitch and could instantly tell me what chords/ notes .. and play almost anything. She had trouble with people playing sharp or flat … What comes to your mind first when hearing the music?
Fantastic breakdown my man! You gotta think about these voicing's as they all came from Gospel church and organists using chromatic movement to transition between songs and parts.
Super stuff. Just excellent explanation. If you possible suggestions for the future, maybe Rock With You, How Sweet It Is, Don’t Stop Believin’. Happy to suggest more :)
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you'd like me to teach you in the next video! 🚀⬇

Beautiful content! Appreciate this. It would be smooth if you did some Robert Glasper - e.g., Levels, So Beautiful, etc.
Great suggestion!
Somewhere on UA-cam is a video of Jacob Collier playing “Yesterday” on a Wurlitzer. Would be awesome to see a breakdown of that
I'll check it out!
