Wow this is remarcable, I like de bagaga thing😄is cute! Well, I was wondering if you deal with ornaments in music, but I doubt very much🙂... Ah yes... is there such a measure 3/2 or even 3/8 because for the life of me I have never heard such measures?.. I am grateful to see anything because my humble self taught ear playing suits me very well listening to your superb lessons. My subconscious, bless it, absorbs things when it comes to music😀. Love your videos, I've subscribed now😀👏!
This one is perfect my my playing, although it could be much improved with practice! More of these please. Also great with the band on Yamaha smart pianist app! 😅
Superb lesson! For us who want to play songs instantly. Practical and effective. Could you please do one for the right hand, on how we can improvise melody for the right hand like some patterns or something.
I've played guitar for 36 years, very mediocre at it. I have tinkered on the piano the whole time as I love how the piano just screams music theory at me. Lately I've gotten a lot more serious on the piano but it is a struggle getting my hands to do all the things I want. But lessons like this fill me with joy that I'm going to be able to sound very musical while getting these hands to do what I want. GREAT LESSON !!!
Adding the melody on the left is such a great technique..thank you so much for opening out our minds. I have learnt a lot through out this lesson. Watching from Malawi, Africa.
**Here's a revised UA-cam comment you can use:** "I'm really impressed with Adam's teaching style and the way he breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-understand lessons. His approach is engaging and motivating, and I'm already seeing positive results in my playing. - I've hit the like and subscribe buttons, and I'm excited to download the PDF to continue my practice. - Thanks, Adam, for creating such a valuable resource for keyboard players!" gAlbert
Thanks a lot for this new great lesson. You're very gifted to bring useful tips and tricks which can really elevate one's piano level. And always with smile and kindness. Hats up ! Waiting for full courses or a membership !
Wow Adam, what a great video. I just spent the evening working through my stuff for your Pracitice Live class - I wish I had checked you tube - could have used all of these! Amazing stuff - thank you so much!
Someday I will be buying the toolbox book you write that has all these tools... the BaGaGa will be easy to remember -give each one of them a name... at least when you write that book!
Thank you ...another great lesson. I know this is going to take my piano playing to another level. The left hand grooves make it sound so much more professional 🙏 Love the ba-ga-ga...it's stuck in my head now 😂
I'm loving this lesson and I'm only 6 minutes in!! So glad I found you , would love to see more of these left hand focused exercises. Thankyou so much!
🙌This Greek-Australian loves your creativity, skill set and great sense of humour! Have been relearning the piano/keys after many years (having PTSD as a result of a decade of classical training as a child). Feel ready for song-writing with your help after 4-5 months. Have a few bands interested but looking to play alternative Greek music mostly in minor keys, the kind of music which sings to my soul. Thank you for spreading your light through this platform.🙏 PS: Your best advice? Stay off the sheet music! It stifles creativity …
I thoroughly enjoy your lessons. I learn so much I can really use. But most of all, I think I like how you keep it real and can make yourself "chuckle" ..."ba ga ga"! I will never forget it now.🤣
Another great video. I learn so much from these vids and I really like the ba-ga-ga's. You always add a little extra fun that makes it more interesting. Keep them coming. ba-ga-ga
Thanks Oren! That's very kind of you to say. Music should be fun shouldn't it! It wasn't always necessarily presented as a 'fun' thing when I was learning... I think it's so important to enjoy yourself when learning piano.
I'm a beginner, but have already realized that I need more going on with my left hand. I am able to do beginning part of your video and will continue to work on the other steps. Super excited to have it happen for me!!! Thanks for the encouragement!
Oh, Adam, you inspired me again! 🤣 The first trick is so lively! I also seldom think of playing that "ba ga ga" in the left hand. Instead, I play that rhythm with "left right left". That means 1 2 3 a 4e, you play 123 in the right hand, "a 4e", or ba ga ga you called with the left. 😅 But I always just strictly think of playing 123 with right hand, usually the 1st beat with both hands, 2 3 with the right, and a4e, using left right left hand.😅. Now I know I can try simply play with the left hand. Hope you understand what I mean.😂
As a retired guy i need to thank you for sharing so much. Making a rank beginner like me have an enjoyable way to get familiar with the wonder of keys. Thanks Coach, looking forward to sharing some $$ with you cuz you 've earned it. 💙
Thanks for taking the time and making this lesson. You’re clear and to the point with extremely valuable information. Really appreciate it, thanks again.
I loved the video, thank you so much! I always walk away from these feeling like I've expaned my ability. I loved the little bits you threw into the right hand in the playthrough at the end, is there any chance you could make a video going over how to do that ourselves?
Great video as always. You were asking for suggestions for future videos. You did one video on blues patterns but I think it would be excellent if you could do another one or two on how to build a blues solo that is not focused on learning specific riffs but creatively how to build the solo using scales.
This is off topic but need to ask a question. I have tried raising and lowering my keyboard but my neck and shoulder still burns. Is this possibly a tension problem or have others experienced it when practicing? Sorry to but in the topic xxx
The final play through was doing a bunch of things in the right hand that this video didn’t talk about… I find that super frustrating as I’m left not being able to recreate the final output… (i am not advanced enough to just know!)
I felt like that when I was learning piano.....but the goal should be not to copy somebody else......if you learn all the chords you will realise he is just playing chord tones and a few passing tones....that can change every measure to give it movement.....he makes it sound so good because of his ability to play rhythms in time. That takes practice........
Seems like you have some kind of limiter on your Free PDF Downloads! Can't seem to download anymore, and if I try to redownload one I've already go t no dice...
Hi - ah that's strange, there shouldn't be a limit - you should be able to download them all as many times as you like. If you run into problems send us an email support@thekeyscoach.com and we'll make sure you get the PDFs you're after.
Interesting question! I guess a key is important because it provides a kind of 'home' for the song - in other words it allows you to contextualise all the chords you might hear and it gives you a frame of reference. I'm going to do some more thinking about this!
Three was the Twist, there was the Locomotion and now... the BaGaGa!
😂
Another awesome tip. I love bagaga!! Great memory booster that I wouldn't necessarily get from the written music
Love your verbalisation ba ga ga as thus has really.stuck in my head 😅. Thankyou xx
You’re welcome haha! 😊

Thanks Oren! That's very kind of you to say. Music should be fun shouldn't it! It wasn't always necessarily presented as a 'fun' thing when I was learning... I think it's so important to enjoy yourself when learning piano.
Think I’m starting to go BGAGAGA for this channel. Every excercise seems challenging but doable. Prefect for where I’m at. Cheers

Thanks Joe! You're welcome!
I think a video that specifically targets ways to transition between chords would be GOLD. Keep up the great work!
Great idea! Thanks!
Yeah I’m always hitting bum notes when I try and do passing notes in my left hand!
I'm a beginner, but have already realized that I need more going on with my left hand. I am able to do beginning part of your video and will continue to work on the other steps. Super excited to have it happen for me!!! Thanks for the encouragement!

More to come!
Hi Adam. You’re such a good and easy teacher. Can you show me how to hold my wrist and arms as they are always sore after playing. Thanks - Jeanette
Great suggestion! Thanks Jeanette.

Now show us what you did in the right hand at the end😅 that fillin stuff😂❤

Seems like you rush the 3rd beat in the right hand???
