Thank you for the link to this video, that's been a big help, and your description on what each bounce does was extremely well said in terms of understanding what is best for each type of course. Cheers Mike. Look forward to your video on technique in bunkers to create more spin from a good lie in a bunker. 5 star video well done.

Really insightful, thanks. Just bought 3 of these. Out of interest do you put specific wedge shafts in your wedges or stick with what you have in your irons? Be great to see a comparison video as it gets confusing sometimes - even when getting fit!

Most will just have Iron shafts which is perfectly ok.

to be fair, Vokey has a wedge fitting not so much "system" but practice, but I love what these guys have done with this and bringing in the Srixon v-sole concept. The thing I have found is living in the Seattle area I like low bounce for my lob wedge because the sand is often wet or dense and then mid-bounce for the sand wedge for the soft ground conditions. I also use the two dot in the bunker if the sand is dry/deep/soft. I never think of hitting a "full" 60 and really not that often am I trying to hit a full SW (54-56) and then (in Vokey terms) an F grind on the PW/GW. That satin finish is pretty awesome, would love it if 765 came in matching finish.

I personally don't mind the slight different finish moving from irons into wedges but I get what your saying. All in all a great wedge.

i like your video easy to understand. mine swing is in between shallow and steep. second year golfing my game have improve a lot, i had a sand wedge 56 degree 14 bounce. i found sand wedge 14 bounce make easy out of bunker, i also carry a very low bounce lob wedge. look forward to purchase a RTX 3 sand wedge but am not sure if i should go for 56/14 or 56/11 ? what do you think the new raw tour finish?
    thanks for your advance Michael

+yuan yu hi, thanks for your comment. If your carrying a low Bounce lob wedge then I'd go with the 14 Bounce on your 56 as by the sounds of it you'll use mostly out of bunkers. The raw wedge looks nice but unfortunately isn't available in the U.K. 😔 there was talk it might get launched early in the new year but don't think anything has been confirmed yet. Great wedges tho 👍

going to a Cleveland Scoring Clinic next week where I'll get fitted for an RTX-3 wedge, gonna get the 60° to replace my old RTX. very helpful video Mike... anyone ever tell you that you could pass for Geoff Ogilvie's cousin?

I'm a bit confused as to how the bounce numbers on these wedges are calculated, given the V-sole. The angle between the turf and the leading edge appears to be significantly higher than stated on the low and mid grinds, as the club sits on the apex of the V at address. I guess the number is "effective grind". I bought a mid-grind and the actual bounce is way higher than I wanted.
