If you’ve followed me for a while now, you might know that one of my biggest passions in the world is Indian cuisine! I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world, from India itself, to places like Lebanon, Dubai, Los Angeles, Kenya, and Abu Dhabi. But in this documentary, I’m focusing on my hometown, Miami!
🇮🇳 INDIA FOOD & TRAVEL VIDEOS: • Meghalaya STREET FOOD ...
Miami may be better known for its Latin-American influences, but the city and surrounding area also offer lots of incredible Indian cuisine.
Since 2018, I’ve taken four full trips to India. I’ve been everywhere from Delhi to Mumbai to Shillong to Trivandrum, and so many cities and states in-between. Along the way, I fell in love with the rich and vibrant flavors of the Indian subcontinent, from the hearty and buttery dishes of Northern India, to the coconut-rich meat and seafood dishes of the south.
In this documentary, I’m taking you into Miami’s underrated Indian food scene. We’ll be having everything from dosas to biryani to pani puri, and so much more. Get ready for your mouth to water, because this is a Miami food tour like no other. So kick back, relax, and come with me as we explore the world of Indian food in Miami, Florida.

About Me:
My name is David Hoffmann. Since starting David’s Been Here in 2008, I have traveled to over 1,400 destinations in 98 countries to experience and document unique cultures on my UA-cam channel, travel blog, and social media.
I highlight culture and historical sites, but my passion is food! I love to experience and showcase the different flavors each destination has to offer, from casual street food to gourmet restaurant dining.

David, do you still intend to open a restaurant? Just not sure when the part with your Dad was filmed. Thanks for great videos. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
YOOO JOHN! Maybe one day but this was filmed awhile ago and the Restaurant idea sort of fell through unfortunately. Hope you are enjoying some incredible backcountry Tennessee music and food my friend! Great to see you too!
@@Davidsbeenhere David, as the old song goes "there is a time to every purpose under Heaven ." I am sorry it didn't work out, but sometimes when things don't, as you know, it can be for the better. You know, my wife and I surely didn't understand why the Lord sent us to Tennessee, but as Scenic Photographers, we certainly understood as soon as we got close to our knew home and church. It is beautiful here and we can't imagine being anywhere else. Yes, True Southern food is certainly yummy. Great to hear from you David. You are a blessed man. I wish you the best my friend!
I love Indian food 🥘 🤤

Oh lawd Indian food is the best. My heritage is English/Jamaican. However I simply love authentic Indian cuisine. I’m just saying 😊.
You have great taste in food
After watching this I have a good idea of what I would like. I only eat chicken and seafood. Thanks for another great video 😊
David your father is so right about spices... You need to educate yourself on spices and the amount of it to be applied to a particular Indian food and everything will be fine... You have a great taste bud for Indian food and I am sure you will be a good chef as well... As it says in India to cook well you need a good taste bud... All the best for your restaurant and lots of love from India ❤❤❤... 🥂 Cheers
Visit to india and explore more please
Welcome to Miami 😎

@@Davidsbeenhere hopefully you'll come back stay safe 😎 ✌
SOME OF THE BEST FOOD ON EARTH, I COOK ,I KNOW.
Yes of course!
I cook incredible food,I do,I can cook.
Hi David how far your this restaurant from airport
Bohut achcha
Love The Video With Your Dad- He Seems So….. KOOL❤❤
HE's awesome! Love my dad!
Mangoes in curries is not an Indian thing, from what I know. I think it’s more of a West-Indian thing (Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, etc) I think the Western nations have just started making mango infused curries to appeal to the western palate.
Mangoes in India are used for desserts/sweets, they also dry mango a lot in India and make a “fruit roll up” almost with it and then put chaat masalas on top or have it plain. It’s so good.
I love to watch u all time
Thank you so much Maddy, I'm grateful for your support!
“ROTI”
Not Bread!
Gravy!?? ( SOORWAH)❤
😂😂 😂🎉
Samantha is Awesome!❤
Love Curried Mangoes ❤
I saw her, while I was trying to eat,she must have been alot older than me ,her blood shot eyes, immediately I felt her plight, so sweet, I understand aging, want to bring her back, big fight to save our morality,.
As you love Kolkata so much, eat Kolkata mutton Biryani which is the best Mutton Biryani. Its not too spicy, al the taste lies in the rice. Subtle, yet flavourful. Most importantly, the mutton used here is goat, and not lamb. Goat is tastier, softer and more flavourful than lamb if cooked properly. This biryani also comes with Alu and Egg.
Very nice video Bandra East Mumbai mangala nikalje india
How do you keep your stomach well maintainee
Well..I've been to Europe....Mauritius...Australia...And U.S...Maine...Florida...
Is this ur old video David?guess I saw it last year
The best Indian food ever!!
Yummy 🎉
❤❤❤❤
Papadum is meant to be eaten with bites of food, not really on its own by itself as a dish. So you take a bite of naan with whatever curry or rice with curry, and then you take a bite of papadum, it’s meant to enhance the taste of the other dishes your eating. 😊
🙏👌👏

You can easily come in India & stay here
just curious, are momos indian?
If you're currently in Kenya, I HIGHLY suggest making it to Lamu on the coast. The Village of Sheila is one of the most beautiful places I've been. The swahili culture, architecture and food is outta this world.
Thanks for the tips! But that series was shot in October 😂
@@Davidsbeenhere I'm always late to the party. My bad, been in Kenya too long.
When are you again visiting india???
Thanks To Vasco De Gama❤
For Indian Spices In The West ❤
Re-upload?
Indian food does not at all come from Persian food. Tandoors existed during the Indus Valley Civilization. Yes the names may have been Persianized but the techniques and dishes are original.
I guess u guys having a date on a quite one 🎉
आमरस पुरणपोळी मिळते का
Mango chicken..dude....nooo .... please 😭😭😭
You can use a spoon to push the curry onto your naan or roti… that’s we (as Indians) do normally…. There’s no shame in that. 😊
✊🏾
Man she is beautiful who agree please comment
She wasn't convinced...
*Holy shit its Johnny Sins!*
You have to eat naan/roti/parantha with ur hands, I mean you can’t really eat it with a knife and fork, that does t make sense.
But rice and everything else, we use utensils…
Verrrrry few places eat rice with their hands, maybe smaller villages.
You,ve been in tv
I will be your first customer when you open the restaurant. If you need investors, let me know.
haha aww thats so nice of you to say Vanessa! One of these days it'll happen although to be honest I'm trying to focus on the sauce at the moment. Thats such a generous offer!!!
People speak Marathi in the state of Maharashtra.😬
Hey David big fan of urs but u can be veg forever it's so much to eat bro look at me I am pure veg never eaten egg also still I m alive healthy
David no one uses their hand to eat their food. It doesn’t look good. While Biryani you should use the fork. No one in India uses their hands anymore that was 30 or 40years ago!
In rural areas still they prefer to eat by hand.
That is definitely not true I watch a lot of tourism videos and there are definitely people eating with their hands still. Might be a little more extreme tourism outside of the major cities but it still happens.
Where does dave find all these baddies 💀
Run belly
Love the videos but try release them in order. One minute you're in Kenya then the next in Ghana then back to Kenya and now in Miami, its a bit confusing brother.
I've been trying to adjust the scheduling of my videos. Basically the current style is a daily video release on Weekdays it'll be my main travel series which is currently Kenya. On weekends I will release Documentaries and other videos. Sunday is usually a special video for the week. Hope that clarifies and thank you for the patience because I know its changed a lot the past few months. The good news is I'm trying to release a video everyday so there is definitely a lot of content for you all to enjoy! Its my duty to entertain. Anyway thank you Elijah and have a beautiful weekend.
What’s confusing? Enjoy the variety of vids and say thanks!
@@Davidsbeenhere kl bro gotcha, love ur videos, I wasn't trying to be negative or anything, i was just wondering, respect bro
No offense taken Elijah! I appreciate you mentioning it. I realize it could be confusing for some people so I'll make another Community Post explaining the schedule moving forward just so people know! huge respect man!
❤️❤️❤️
part 1:109 isn't INDIAN .. could have been better
Which part? It’s all indian
Hi David! I ❤ show! You are doing too much though! ! 😅Please let the young lady eat how ever she wishes! She is not in india!
It’s already awkward enough she’s eating with her hands for what seems like the first time! The food is looks delicious and getting cold while you doing all that explaining! 😂
Definitely not a video for people with Germaphobia 🤣
SHES USING HER LEFT HAND !!!!!
