The keto version of the atho is called Pangha - easily the winner IMHO. Ibrahim atho shop is far too spicy for my taste. And I can take a good bit of heat, it just seems to be the wrong kind for my taste. There is one on the same street at the southern corner - no name, but far better IMHO. The fried fish head curry is inherently keto, and beating the fried parotta also gets rid of any thing crisp you've achieved by deep frying it. Basically eating soggy fries at the bottom of the bucket after throwing away the crisp fries at the top.

That's the biggest lie I've ever heard about food next only to kannadigas saying that they invented dosai..Fish head has always been used in kuzhambu/gravy in Tamil cuisine.. It's the most nutritious part of the fish they say..

In sylhet we cook big fish heads with Tomatoes or Jujube or Dried mango or raw mangoes. Fish heads also cooked with mugh Daal as well. Heavy meal if it is with dal(Lentils) lighter if it is cooked with tangy things like jujube or green tomatoes or dried mango (Ami). Very delicious.
