Ja mam Auto z tym właśnie silnikiem. 2014 rok. Nie bierze ani grama oleju silnik pracuje idealnie, wymieniam olej co 10tys km czasami nawet wczesniej. Nie mam problemów z tym autem.
Ho avuto questo motore dal 2015....dopo 5000 km, mi è stato cambiato il motore in garanzia. Al 1" tagliando é stata aggiornata centralina... Da allora ad oggi Giugno 2022, ho fatto 85.000 km,...! Nessun rumore, olio 300 cc ogni 10.000 km. Ciao🇮🇪
that engine looks all over the shop. what happened to making it look pretty like most other modern cars or at very least putting a damn plastic cover over it. I'd be gutted if I was spending 23k to 25k pounds sterling to buy one and that's what I was greeted to every time I lifted the bonnet. such a shame. the rest of the car is great.

So this is how it is supposed to sound? I have the same engine, and a lot of people think its too loud for petrol engine.
Timing chain? The GM Family 0 engines have a timing chain and have an habit of sounding exactly like this (listen to any Opel Corsa C on the road).
Mine sounds exactly the same. Does it make a clinic noise when you rev it. When the waste gate shuts?

You are right though about the engine cover I went back to dealer thinking it was missing, it wasnt they just dont have one.
