Does yours jerk/kangaroo with cold engine? My Golf 7.5 1.5 tsi 150hp DADA does that with cold engine. When its warm it drives very nice
It's normal sound, all the engine with the high pressure pump, and the common rail they have this sound, specially on direct injection systems with piezoelectric injector.

All vag engines are crap.
All VW gasoline engines in the last 30 years are crap. Diesel engines are ok, except for the 1.4TDI... it's total garbage.
Ho avuto questo motore dal 2015....dopo 5000 km, mi è stato cambiato il motore in garanzia. Al 1" tagliando é stata aggiornata centralina... Da allora ad oggi Giugno 2022, ho fatto 85.000 km,...! Nessun rumore, olio 300 cc ogni 10.000 km. Ciao🇮🇪
0.3 lt olie normaal toch voor 10000km?

I have a 2020 model seat leon fr 1.5 tsi fr dsg vehicle, 105000 km, I am the first owner and I have been in trouble recently, the vehicle gives 2 errors. first ; P04F000 EVAP SYSTEM HIGH PRESSURE PURGE LINE PERFORMANCE, Second; INTAKE AIR SYSTEM LEAK. It was determined that the problem was caused by the valves in the engine, and some of the valves were burned or melted. Unfortunately, even though I had all the periodic maintenance done 2 thousand km ago, I encountered such a problem and the authorized service did not support in the country where I live. I don't like it anymore, probably because my next car will be the BMW f30
@@muratuzelli what is the year of manufacturing of that engine? Did you use maximum/torque power often? It could be also problem with quality of petrol.

Ja mam Auto z tym właśnie silnikiem. 2014 rok. Nie bierze ani grama oleju silnik pracuje idealnie, wymieniam olej co 10tys km czasami nawet wczesniej. Nie mam problemów z tym autem.
Aircondition or clima compressor fail. The same happened to me and today Skoda told me that aircondition compressor has failed. Unfortunately an expensive fail.
No video yet about oil change for this motor.

So this is how it is supposed to sound? I have the same engine, and a lot of people think its too loud for petrol engine.
Timing chain? The GM Family 0 engines have a timing chain and have an habit of sounding exactly like this (listen to any Opel Corsa C on the road).
Mine sounds exactly the same. Does it make a clinic noise when you rev it. When the waste gate shuts?

After aprox 15000km I have 6.9 (average) and I get roughly 6-6.5L/100km nowadays. I drive the manual 1.2, almost 90% on highway.
that engine looks all over the shop. what happened to making it look pretty like most other modern cars or at very least putting a damn plastic cover over it. I'd be gutted if I was spending 23k to 25k pounds sterling to buy one and that's what I was greeted to every time I lifted the bonnet. such a shame. the rest of the car is great.
You are right though about the engine cover I went back to dealer thinking it was missing, it wasnt they just dont have one.

Przejechałem już 3000km i pali 8,5 na trasie. Miasto to 10-14. Nie jeżdżę jakoś specjalnie dynamicznie, ale tak jak na filmie to też nie.
Dostalem to auto na pare dni jako zastepcze. Silnik elastyczny, świetnie wygluszony, ale i paliwozerny. Zeby zejsc poniżej 7l na trasie, to max predk. 90-100, i bez wyprzedzania. Spalanie to porazka. Jechałem dzisiaj blizniakiem tego auta, czyli r. Kadjar z motorem 1.2 ale o mocy 130ps. Silnik zrywniejszy i.... ekonomiczniejszy ☺
