Thank you for this video. This is probably the best spinner bait tips that I have seen. I will definitely utilize this information to improve my spinner bait fishing performance. Looking forward to my next trip to try this out and looking forward to your next video.
This edition was spot on. I have been fishing my lake during the same temperature window. Water was up to lower 60's and the tandem was starting to work well then we had a series of strong cold fronts and the bass tended to hit up the single Colorado again.
Great finish at Redcrest E. Tough to gain ground when all the fish at 2 pounders but you got it done for a solid top 5. Good luck at the next event. Thanks for the spinner bait vid, I love fishing them and this was great info.
Glad you touched some light on this because I been switching back and forth between single colorodo blade to double willow leaf and caught fish on both this weekend.
Hey Edwin, great information, thank you!! Really enjoyed watching you at Redcrest. You were on the 3lbers, I just knew you were gonna pull it out. Congrats, podium finishes are the best!!!
Thanks for this video. Relatively new to fishing, and didn’t catch anything all last year. Hoping to have better luck this year by getting some advice from the pros!
Great tips E ! I always have a blade tied on all year round . Once in a while I'll throw a single #5 gold willow on a 3/4 oz. as well when they are aggressive enough . One of the cool things about a single Colorado blade , especially a short arm blade, is working that thing like a jig up and down or better yet , pulling it over cover and slack line it and let it fall ! Great job at Redcrest BTW !
Hi Edwin , I was hoping you would have won your last event , you will win soon I feel it. Back in 1972 I caught the Oregon State record 8.9 on a Zorro tamdom 1/2 ounce yellow copper blades. I live in Washington State and I bought it directly from Stan Sloan thru Sports Afield Magazine they weren't sold in stores up here yet. I have to say spinner baits are one of my favorite lures and your so right about cold water its the best time to use them.Keep doing what your doing and it will pay off. Love your videos! Hope one day you will have a contest for a fishing trip with you and of course I would win it that would be so cool.
Great tips Edwin! I agree about the slower speed reel. I also throw my spinnerbaits on MH action 7 foot rods and 20 lbs fluorocarbon. Chartreuse and white is my favorite color too. I have had great success with blue and white colored skirts as well. Hope you have a great finish in your next tournament. Congratulations on 3rd place in Red Crest tournament!!!
Hey Edwin, congrats on 3rd place finish at Redcrest! I've always wandered about when and where to throw the different styles of spinner baits. Thank you for breaking this down and sharing this information! Good luck at the next event! We're rootin' for ya!

Great Job at Redcrest! Spinner baits are Fun. Could we here a little more about those Glide baits like you used at Redcrest? Thanks for you videos and keep the enthusiastic momentum going!
What about colors of sunglass tint when fishing clear, muddy,or strain waters? Which are your choice of tints to see fish if bedding or in real clear water depth? Are they goog or over rated in fishing ?
Hey Edwin, I was cheering for you the entire Redcrest. 3rd place is a great achievement with all of the fantastic anglers out there. Thanks for sharing the information in the video!
Edwin great break down. Spinnerbaits are my favorite baits to throw. Enjoy the way you break things down. Good job a Lake Norman. Good luck the rest of your season 👍
Thank you Edwin everyone knows that colorado blade gives out more thump.Isnt it true it also adds more lift?I feel to get a spinnerbait deeper regardless of blade configuration has everything to do with weight and speed of retrieve.I feel as though the blades have more to do with flash and vibration. What are your thoughts? Thanks again Edwin great video I love throwing spinnerbaits.
Congratulations on your performance at Redcrest. I rarely toss spinnerbaits, so this video was really educational for me. It was excellent how you covered the weight and depth at which you fish each blade. I appreciate you making these videos available; they are all very educational.

Great explanation simple and straightforward! Probably the bait I have the least confidence in.
Good info, thx
Awesome video
I hope everyone here catches their pb this march!
I always go for single colorado. cought more fish than the law allows, only cought 2 on a tandem in 50 years of trying.
I've been using the Colorado blade.. Berkeley has came a long way these past couple years
