When I lived in other countries, and we had very little water, this is how I bathed. I always felt clean! Thank you for showing how this can be done in a very small space!!
I have searched for a half height bathing option so that I can have a sponge bath without splashing water everywhere. I had an idea in my mind, and this is the first solution that matches.

I have a high top van, so will hang a shower curtain from the ceiling, into this type of popup tub and use a battery-powered submersible water pump in a collapsible bucket with warm water.
That's a really great system, no seperate shower curtain needed!

Shower every day? I stopped daily showers when I was a truck driver team driver. We planned showers every third day. Now 5 years later included 2 years living in my 2005 Mazda 6S with 3.0 engine,I learned how to keep clean and fresh showering 2 times a month. Dry shampoo, lots of wipes. My hair( long and blonde) has never been better .

I very often was out at work in the company pickup truck, not a cap on the truck bed, for three days at a time sleeping in the truck's cab. I just got those cleaner spray bottles, usually about 32 oz, you find in the cleaner section of hardware stores. Parking in a spot where people did not walk by I cleaned myself starting with my shirt off. Then dropped my pants to my knees and repeated. Had a wash cloth and towel in the truck as well as clean clothes. Not as nice as a shower but sufficient.

The 🚿 shower dilemma doesn't bother me. In Europe there are still homes with a store,bakery ...that don't have showers. The room with a bucket and sponge and soap.i lived like that for many years.Now the toilet would bother me. Luckily I had a toilet. If my hair and hidden body orifices didn't get water that would be hell. I think we must get used to not having a so called perfect daily life .✌️🤗👋 Great tub!!!!!

There are portable showers for campers that are popup, like tents. Or, you can simply get a popup tent for cheap and do it outside without the constraints of the vehicle. Of course, not in the middle of winter. I think if I were a car dweller I would be using a lot of body wipes and taking a lot of sponge baths out of a basin. I experimented with washing longer hair without a shower and I did it. You can even do this in the hospital if you are not allowed to have a shower. Have two basins of warm water. Wet a washcloth in the water and wet down your hair with it until your hair is wet but not dripping. Apply a small amount of shampoo. Shampoo the hair. Take a towel and get as much shampoo out as you can, like you are drying your hair. Take a wet wash cloth and scrub the remaining soap out of the hair, several times, by washing out the cloth in clean water. When your hair squeaks it's clean. It may take three or four "rinses" with the washcloth. Dry your hair as you wish. If you are in the hospital or nursing home you can simply ask for a couple of basins of warm water, and do this yourself. But you should also have a hair dryer so you are not sleeping with wet hair.
This is good idea. Better than not having shiwer. Worth a try.

I just do a complete bird bath. Wash hair/rinse...Then use soapy wet bath towel to soap complete body. I then just dry off; skipping the rinse... All clean!
A bird bath is water down and use no soap. 😂

Hi handsome. Great channel and demonstration. Could you put a list of items you have in your van. I slept in my car and used a clean cotton towel with warm water and wiped down organic soap , then another one to dry off. It's felt great. I slept like a baby And woke up refreshed. My products were from Costco wearhouse and the vehicle is a 2023 Honda hrv lx. May I ask what type of refrigerator you use and do you eat ? Thank you and God bless you.
Hi! Ok. Will make a list. I do not have a refrigerator that runs on electricity, so I made one myself using polystyrene and put ice in it to keep things cool. I wanted it to be small in size, so I also have a DC rice cooker, 24-volt heaters, and a hot water kettle (also 24V). I am planning to make a video explaining how I use electricity in my car.

If gray water collects at the bottom, how did you manage to get dressed inside the tub after showering when your feet are soaking in gray water?
You can put a plastic stool (3-5 inches enough) above the gray water feet to rest on
pro tip: buy a cheap small thermos with a release hole on the bottom, stick a tube through it, weld a corrosion-free metal plate around your exhaust, add some ventilation holes on the top, let the tube end above a filler opening, and the exhaust heat will get rid of the urine for you by vaporizing. now just buy a toilet seat, buy a small bathroom trash can, add a trash bag in there, attach it to the toilet seat, take a sh*t, close the bag, throw away.
They have seats for 3 gallon buckets, trash cans collapse like cheap plastic. The urine will crystalize and start to stink. But hey, you do you.
How about using adult wipes instead of this?
I'm curious what you are using there for hot water? I've seen 120 volt instant hot water taps, which is what I think you have. Would you recommend the one you have? Thanks for sharing.
I use a 24v kettle with isolation, but most time I didn't use it.
You could perhaps boil an electric kettle and pour into a bowl with sufficient cold to get your desired temperature, then sit in a tub with a stool and pour the water over you, hammam-style. I’ve bought three containers for the bathing process they would take up more room than this arrangement, but one of them would double as my kitchen sink. It’s a large hammered stainless steel bowl that I think was intended to hold champagne on ice. That’s where I would prepare my bathing water. Then sit in largest tub with a shower stool and dip the smallest bowl in the water and pour it over me. Throw out the water afterwards.
Sometimes it’s just more convenient to stay in your little home to do hygiene rather than go out to a gym which can’t always stay open during pandemics and such. If you are in a remote location in summer weather of course an electric shower plugged into a battery, used with a small tub of water standing outside is sufficient and easy peasy in terms of getting rid of grey water.

its no heat function but a USB bumper and atomization, however, I feel the water is not so cold after atomization.

Although I haven't been traveling on the road every day lately, I've taken about five or six road trips. Each time, I've brought this portable bathtub with me and used it once or twice per trip. At the very least, I haven't stayed in a hotel just to take a shower.
In summary, it might not be the most efficient way to take a shower, but when you're on a trip and need to thoroughly clean yourself without suitable hotels or shower facilities along the way, it is a perfect solution.

Why don't you place the tube in the bottle and place it lower stage and start showering so that the water flows down and your legs are clean ! Otherwise your feet is still under the dirty water right ???
Another tips is, use a tea towel or a tissue towel to wipe out the foams before you shower, your water usage is more to give you the freshness !

This one is larger than those one from Amazon, but when it is folded, it is very compact! LOVE IT! I have not try it on my trip yet, but will start to practice using it before the trip (bath in the car). Hope this helps!
