Barely minutes into this episode I decided that 47 is by far the best season of the new era. By the end of the episode, I stand by that assessment. Every episode this season surpasses all of those preceding it. And, based on who's left and where they each stand, I expect the post-mege to continue in that vein. (btw, i'm typing this before watching this recap.)

You two are a bit confused. They will all know Rome voted for Sam. They all expected Rome to vote for Sol and there were no Sol votes. They all knew the two people voting for Andy were voting or Andy so the only non-Rome vote that wasn't accounted for was Rome's
This episode is such an awesome episode. Sol is not my bias or anything, but seeing how he was treated by Rome is just frustrating. It's almost like seeing how a bullying beginning to happen. I'm happy. This is a good week 🥰
Omg, Cagayan was also the first season I watched! It was a little confusing at first but so exciting and got me hooked for life. Little did I know it was one of the best seasons haha. A family member watched survivor but I had never gotten into it but I had entered a new phase of my life with more time and was like why not, sure I'll watch the premiere of this popular show. And the rest was history. Spent the next few months binging all of survivor starting from season 1, listening to old rhap podcasts and buying the evolution of strategy to listen to in bed every night.
WEDNESDAYS HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLE BECAUSE OF SURVIVOR AND AGATHA ALL ALONG. Sad there's only 2 episode left of AAA. Matt and Frannie will make a perfect Agatha and Teen!
It *wasn't* Kyle who said what was reoorted back to Tiyana. as part of fishing for info to bury Kyle with, Rome actually put her name forward & Kyle replied something like 'yeah her chances would be fair'.
I’m thinking the women’s alliance being highlighted in the preview is another instance of it not happening. I think it’s more likely something such as Tiyauna pushing for Gabe and Sue plays her idol on him.
Finally, the moment I have been gnawing my fingenails over -- Rome, still totally clueless in his over-riding super-charged, totally self-absorbed ego-mania -- he is NOT a good sport and NO MERGE BUFF for Mr Ego Head! Out of the game for good! Whew!

New era still cannot compete with some of the old-school classics like Pearl Islands, Micronesia, or HvV-to name only a few.

Rome was so unlikeable, and I’m the type that normally loves watching the villains (like Q was such a great character last season)
Yeah Rome wanted to be entertaining and yes he caused chaos but Rome didn’t get a favorable edit in terms of likeability.
