- We're exploring towns in upstate new york to move out of nyc and today it's beacon new york! I ran out of storage on my phone while walking around but there was also a GORGEOUS area by town along the hudson river to have picnics, paddle board, etc. that SOLD US! Are we relocating to beacon ny?!

Love Beacon! I go to Woodstock a lot which is definitely more down-to-earth, hippie vibes compared to chicer/hipster Beacon, Hudson, etc. But Woodstock has great restaurants and cocktails and lots of nature to explore.

Go to Monroe, NY and make sure to eat at Blooming Hill Farm. Also visit Bear Mountain for a hike up the mountain or a nature walk around the lake. I love upstate. You get the best of both worlds. Looking forward to this series.
