      Question for you then since your an engineer: do the Flexvolt batteries (which are wired to output 20V Max to 60V Max) contribute to overheating of the 20V Max Tools?

    • @philipxu1621
      @philipxu1621 5 років тому

      @@treebossmike8818 I'm responsible for brushless motor developing, you may (or not) feel the 20V tool a little bit hotter using FlexVolt battery. When we develop 20V power tools, we'll use FlexVolt battery, much longer time and much more critical working condition to test, so there's no risk of overheating.

      ua-cam.com/video/f5N30Q1qTaE/v-deo.html Are these types of video's handy for the design team to look at? Do you look at results like these and go hmm time to start work on gen 3? I'm quite curious. Thanks for stopping by btw.

    Hi,
    I have the EGO 580 for my house work and that thing rocks. I also have the milwaukee gen 2 m18 blower for work to clean up the job site area and tools. I like how the milwaukee tube comes off easy with the button on the bottom. The back will catch your shirt if you are not careful. Maybe gen 3 will have a cover like this DeWalt blower.
    Does the new DeWalt flexvolt blower tube come off easy? I do like that the fan is coverd. DeWalt needs to make this same style for their 20v line blower. It will be smaller but it can match the milwaukee gen 2 blower specs. Not everyone is on the flexvolt line. Looks cool.
    Thanks for the video

    I just got one of these at the end of April, saw one hiding on an upper shelf at a Home Depot. Great blower, I have 2 gripes, the lame charger (the 115 charger, which they ship with all the 60volt OPE products), and run time, the 9ah give me roughly 15 minutes or so. Could be a bit longer... I don’t own a 12ah battery so not sure how much longer you would get out of that.

       Making Stuff and Breaking Stuff with Al
      Yes... It's simply IMPOSSIBLE to move things faster, but less in total, when the opening size is about the same.
      So, I believe it's either EGO's tube has smaller opening, or rated MPH with narrow tube and CFM without.

    As you were demonstrating the blower has weak power and is no better than the older model. Dewalt still haven't made the newer model with a turbo blaster like many of the other brands. They didn't even include the attractive nose piece like the previous model. I see no improvement in this newer model and you had trouble blowing that small mound of damp sand and the other debris. I don't see how you can comment ''holy cow'' what a powerful blower. I like Dewalt power tools but would not recommend none of their blowers.
